- breakfast with very limited options and low quality food/beverages - no hot water in the shower most of the times -rooms are not soundproof at all. We had extremely noisy guests in the room nearby and couldn't sleep all night. It felt like they were fighting and screaming right in the same room.

My family has a small hotel 2-3 stars. in the same manner here at Phuket and Koh Phi Phi, Thailand. can suggest that Accommodation here is in accordance with a small 2-3 star hotel. It should be available and worth the cost. One thing that I want all guests to understand that island accommodation There will be a higher price than on the shore as it usually costs more. But instead, this place is reasonable and worth the money. All the staff are friendly and provide very good service. Starting from pick up at the pier There is a service to lift luggage from the rescue port. and took him to the resting place. When arriving at the accommodation, the staff will tell you to stay here like stay at your home Everything is simple. like you go to stay at a friend's house The room is new and clean. clean the room every day The staff can help with many things, including booking tours and boats to and from the airport. Breakfast is served, the same menu but delicious. The hotel is not 100% open yet in service. I recommend it as an option if anyone looking for a place to stay. P.S. Hope when open 100% I hope your family will be successful with this business.

Wi-Fi internet may be slow and there may be some problems during use, but you must understand that Where you are is an island in the middle of the ocean.

We had only planned to spend 2 nights at Lagoona Sunset, but we enjoyed our stay so much we ended up staying for a week. The room was clean and the bed was reallly comfortable! The island of Maafushi is very small so everything is really only a stone's throw away. What really makes this place though is the staff. Ahmed, the manager is so kind, warm and welcoming. He and his staff met us at the port and took our bags to the hotel. He enthusiastically answered all of our questions, from info re tours to bigger questions about Maldivan life. He was always available and you just got the sense he expected nothing in return. The team Lagoona Sunset made Maafushi seem like home. If we are fortunate enough to come back to this beautiful island, we know where we will stay. I recommend this place unreservedly. Thank you so much!

We liked the location of the hotel in Maafushi as it's facing the ocean and very close to the pier, restaurants and shops, etc. Likewise, the staff were nice and tried their best to make our stay brilliant. Someone as well was waiting for us at the pier and he helped us with our luggage. They also accommodated our request to store our luggage for a few days when we had to go to a different island, without charging us compared to other hotels. And because they were fully-booked when we wanted to come back, they still helped us transfer our luggage from their hotel to the other hotel (which the other hotel had a totally different service from Lagoona Sunset). The room as well was spacious enough and had a decent bathroom with hot water, AC was working very well and bed was also big and comfortable. They also serve good breakfast which was a plus, and there was a restaurant outside. Wifi was great too! I had online class when I was travelling so it was important that internet connection was strong and Lagoona Sunset was great with their Wifi connection. Although some staff didn't speak English much, they were accommodating, helpful and friendly. We felt safe and happy staying at Lagoona Sunset and would definitely recommend the place to others, too! =)

I guess it's slightly pricey but still very affordable for the Maldives category. They don't have elevators yet as there's only a few floors at the moment but the staff helped us in bringing our luggages to our room, so it's still a plus! =)

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property was clean and comfortable, with daily room cleaning that kept everything spotless. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Despite having to check out early at 7:00 AM, they went out of their way to provide us with a takeaway breakfast and assisted with arranging our transfer from Guhli Island. Everything was well-organized, and their attention to detail made our experience truly enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit!

The excellent service from Ahmed and his team, they are very welcoming, warm with big smiles and always ready to help you. They even pick us up at the jetty even we arrived around 9pm and offered to bring our luggages. We were also given a welcoming drink while checking in. Also, they put 'happy honeymoon' in our bed which is really nice.. The hotel caters your basic needs and offers a decent breakfast. They clean everyday and makes sure your room is tidy everytime you come back after roaming around. There is kettle and hair dryer inside your room. You got a drying rack in the balcony and bidet is available in your toilet. The location is very near to the port, to restaurants and situated on a non crowded are so you don't hear noise when you want to sleep well at night. It's budget friendly and a total deal!

Just it is a twin bed put together to become a big bed, kind of uncomfy, apart from that no more comments.

The two guys from sri lanka are really nice - the one on the reception and the one in the terrace. Helpful and joyfull. Hotel was super clean, everithing was just new. we had very nice seaview, also cleaning every day.The restaurant have super cheap and tasty food compared to the ones close by. Breakfast was ok.

There were some people partying till midnight on the neighbours bar and you could hear everything like the party was in the room😂. My girlfriend thinks that 100$ was missing from the safe, so just be careful.

The staff at Lagoona Beach were great and really care about making your experience a good and memorable one. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, clean to a really good standard (they clean it everyday) and the A/C works well. This was also the best wifi I had in a hotel whilst I stayed in the Maldives. The hotel is on the popular strip of Maafushi and close to the pier.

slight safety issue with the balcony and there is a part were there is no railing so that would be a major concern for children. The breakfast is rather basic.

Reception staff Ahmed is the best. He goes out of his way to help us especially in booking our speedboat airport to hotel then with our day tour. He made sure breakfast was ready for us before the tour. He's very accommodating. Great asset of the hotel.

Nice bright, modern and clean room with everything you need for your stay. Provided coffee in the room, beach towels, shampoo etc. Very comfortable. Location was great- right near the jetty and our favorite restaurant- Tandoori flames. We booked the ferry to Maafushi through them and they met us at the ferry jetty and brought our suitcases for us. Also on the return they brought our suitcases to the terminal. Nice varied breakfast each morning. Staff were lovely!
