This Hotel has exceeded my expectations. Let us consider all the pros: -Staff: they were really friendly. Always trying to help and very professional. -Check-in/out: I arrived early (i.e. 9 am) and they worked really hard to let me check in asap. However, even without the early check in, they let you change and use the infinity pool or even go to the beach while waiting for the room to be ready. The check out was done in 2 min. I spent the remaining day at the infinity pool (where you have a toilet and a shower) while waiting for my speedboat to take me to the airport in the afternoon. -The Hotel: it is situated on the east coastline. Very modern and clean. A 5 min walk from the so-called bikini beach. -The Room: it was really nice and spacious. Comfy bed and a balcony. I do recommend to pay the extra and get a room with ocean view. -Infinity pool: it is located at the 8th floor. You have a breathtaking view from there and the sound of the waves is so soothing. I would recommend to use it in the afternoon though, for in the morning there is no way to escape the sun (i.e. no shade nor umbrella). -Food: I read comments complaining about breakfast. I cannot agree with them. Granted, the selection is not huge, but it is variegated and quite tasty. Especially, I enjoyed the fresh omelets which were made on the spot by a cook. -Tours: you have a great selection of tours. I did the shark bay, half-day and sunset fishing tours with Triton. However, you can also do tours with other operators as well. I, for instance, booked the whale shark and the fish tank tours with Kaani Tours. -The island: Maafushi is a small island close to Malé, but it has all you need and you can walk everywhere with ease. Great selection of restaurants, tour operators and supermarkets. -Miscellaneous: you will get a 1l bottle of water every day in your room. However, you can always request to get more at the reception.

I am giving a 10/10 to this hotel, but there are some smaller things that need to be mentioned: -Mosquitos: there are mosquitos. Especially at the lobby and at the restaurant, so bring a repellent. -Language barrier: not all staff members do speak English, hence sometimes it can be challenging to communicate with them. -Infinity pool without beach umbrella: as already mentioned, during the morning there is no escaping the sun at the infinity pool. I would suggest to add some beach umbrella to the pool. Bikini beach: if you ask you will get a sun lounger brought to you at the bikini beach, however again no beach umbrella. I would suggest to add beach umbrellas as well for with such scorching sun one cannot stay under it for too long without getting a sunburn.

Beautiful hotel and great service, but the island and transfer experience need improvement. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely views, very clean facilities, and an extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Everyone was friendly and tried their best to assist us throughout our stay, and we really appreciated their hospitality. However, we had some issues with the transfer service provided by the hotel. When we arrived in Malé, we disembarked and passed through immigration right on time, without any delays on our end — but the transfer boat had already left without us. There was nothing we could have done to be any faster. We ended up having to wait around 45 minutes for the next boat. On our departure, the transfer was also delayed by about half an hour, and we had to wait again. It was frustrating and not the kind of experience we expected in terms of logistics. We almost lost our connection… Additionally, we were disappointed with the general condition of Maafushi island. There is a lot of construction going on, and sadly, a significant amount of trash — including plastic bottles — can be found all around, even on the main beaches like Bikini Beach. It was a negative surprise and really affected the overall impression of the island. We suggest that the hotels on the island work together on regular beach cleanups to help preserve the natural beauty of Maafushi. It’s a lovely destination that deserves better care — for both visitors and the environment.

Staff are so good. I arrived in the late night, and they packed dinner box and delivered to my room. Also when I checked out in the morning and went out for fish tank activity, they gave me a shower room at the spa center for free. They also arranged special setting for Friday dinner on the beach with live music. The services are so good and far beyond my expectations.

All perfect!

My place was overbooked so they upgraded my room at the Triton Beach Hotel. It was exceptional. There are 2 Triton hotels and a third one on the way. All same company. My stay at Triton beach was perfect! The room was extremely comfortable and everything I needed was there. The thing that made the stay there the best was the employees. I can’t even really call them employees because they became like a family over the period of the stay. They are so warm and friendly that it’s really like they become your family. They will arrive to pick you up from the airport and when you leave they all come to wave goodbye at the jetty. They are truly amazing people. They even gave me a free tour because of some confusion with the booking. Which leads to another point. They have their own tours, which I recommend 100%. They use their own boats and they take fantastic photos of you while on the tour and even send you all the pics/videos for FREE! They use a go pro for the under water tours and they will take photos for you with your own phone as well if you want. The point is that these people are amazing. They are what make the stay even better. Thank you to my Maldives family for letting me stay with you guys and giving me a great room with jacuzzi on the balcony! Bed was very comfortable as well. Great place and great times. I really enjoyed a lot. And for the single travelers debating on going alone, just do it. I met so many people, couples & other single travelers and had a lot of fun. Time to travel from Airport to Maafushi is about 30min or so and cost about $25 for hotel to take you by speed boat, which I highly recommend. They will then take you to the hotel upon arrival and greet you with juice and a wet towel prior taking your room. Please take the tours during your stay, you won’t regret them at all. Just ask the front desk and they will show you. Personally I did the snorkeling/sand bank & Vadoo Island. So much to say, but anyway, enjoy your time.

The location was great. Very clean and well maintained. View from the pool area is spectacular. They organize excursions and you can talk to them if you need any. Staffs were nice - especially Dilan who assisted us (5 star⭐️) Breakfast buffet option was not wide but decent.

Do not book the partial sea view room. We booked it after seeing the picture on Booking.com. But expectation vs reality was not met (Pictures attached) The view is covered with concrete buildings and construction sites which is not pleasant and also noisy. We paid extra to get this room, but the view was bad and we could have got a standard room with no view for a lesser price as it wouldn’t make any difference. After brining this concern to our guy ‘Dilan’ - he tried his best to talk to the management and get it sorted but looked like the management did not bother at all. And I had to pay extra to get a sea view room cause the view was important to me.

The view was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing at the balcony area and just taking in the sea/sky view. Professional and friendly staff who provided prompt service. Highly recommended to take up the hotel's speedboat round trip shuttle from/to the airport (60 usd pp) and their half-day snorkeling tour (30 pp). In fact, they offer many tour/spa packages; it was a pity we only had time to try out one but that half-day tour was absolutely fantastic - they know what they are doing and you would be in good hands. Breakfast buffet had a live egg station and the omelette was delicious. The staff was attentive in getting drink orders and clearing plates. Clean and spacious room -- Good housekeeping.

The flush system wasn't the greatest (which also explain the unpleasant smell wafting from the bathroom from time to time) but the staff was quick to rectify the issue. The hotel provided filtered water in glass bottles as part of their efforts to be more sustainable (and you can get it refilled anytime) but honestly, we would prefer to have bottled mineral water. After all, one can never be too cautious when it comes to weak stomachs.

I stayed at Triton Seaview Maldives for a short vacation. The location is definitely a highlight—right by the beach with lovely sea views. The rooms were clean and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. However, I found the stay a bit overpriced for what was offered. The food options were quite limited, especially if you're staying for more than a couple of days. There aren’t many varieties to choose from, which made meals feel repetitive. While the staff were generally polite and the rooftop pool was a nice feature, I feel the overall experience could be improved, especially in terms of dining and value for money.

Although the restaurant staffy are very polite and helful yet food varities are littele ..only 12 items in dinner

Location of the hotel 5 min from the bikini beach. Breakfast was pretty good, but nothing special. Staff are amazing, always smiling and ready to help. Very clean rooms, cleaning was every day.

For breakfast more vegetables would be great. A lot of noise from closing neighbor’s doors. All towels need to be changed for new one. I was also a bit confused with sun beds, because you need to ask for them at the reception every time before going to the beach, and most of the time I had been waiting for it appx an hour. For other hotels they were already available, but because of Triton location it makes difficulties to provide sunbed on time. Also for other hotels umbrella was included, unfortunately not for us. It is not crucial, but could be improved for smoother sunbathing experience.

Hotel staff are very nice, always willing to help us with a friendly smile! The hotel is great, comfortable in a great location close to the bikini beach. The pool is also great with an amazing view! They offer very nice excursions with great guides. İn this regard, a special thanks to Murat, who showed us turtles, sharks and took so many nice pics of us. I also loved the DJ night!

Even though the food is good, the breakfast is quite heavy. It would be good to have healthier options. I would not recommend booking the half pension as Maafushi has many restaurant options. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet.

It is a great choice if you particularly want to stay at Maafushi. The location is great, and the infinity pool is a great asset. The staff was super helpful and warming, that was probably the highlight :) The room itself was okay and most importantly: clean. And the pick up/drop off worked out perfectly!

Breakfast options could have been better- it was quite limiting and all days more or less the same. Also, there are special DJ nights from time to time and the music is painfully loud even when you are in your bed. They stop around 11 pm so that was good! Even better if: we had to pay 15 USD for the beach (optional, but without an umbrella you will be a tomato within 30 mins), would have been nice if Triton provides umbrellas as other hotels in this area. Minor :)
