We paid for upgrade to Triton Prestige. Reviews are about Prestige. Staff made our stay wonderful. They suggested how they could improve our stay - opening room door for us so aircon could run while we were out. Initially we were booked into Triton Beach and Spa, they said we could have breakfast at Prestige instead, which we did. They were always ready to help and did so. Nothing was any trouble. They went above and beyond with a smile. They brought us water, cups of tea and coffee without being asked.

Nothing. There was even regular sweeping for sand that was brought inside.

When I arrived I was very emotional due to a bad time at customs. I never stay in hotels as I'm a budget traveller but with no hostels on the Island I had no other choice. Despite my emotional arrival and feeling all over the place, I was greeted very nicely with a cold flannel and a beautiful welcome drink (this really felt like I had treated myself) I know it can be a little overwhelming when a guest arrives emotional - like what to do? So with that I want to say a massive THANK you to Sachin who made me feel very relaxed, he didn't push for questions & his approach was very much appreciated during that time. I arrived to my room and it was very clean, fresh, great Ac - only down side was the view of the construction site but I soon got over it. Loved that the TV had some channels I could watch a film on, and the wifi was good meaning I could work comfortably from my room. Room service was great, loved the little jars of coffee. Everyone at Triton were so so friendly, as a solo traveller it meant alot to me that they were happy for me to just sit and chill with them, they gave very hostel feels! Everyone - hats off to you. I appreciate you all so much. Due to my work commitments it meant I was limited on the activities I could participate on, my last dayy being the only full day I have off - and I really wanted to swim with some turtles! They were able to squeeze in my time to ensure I not only made the diving trip but also get me a shower for when I arrived ready in time for my flight Transfer. Amazing service. Will miss you all so much.

Breakfast could have been a little more accommodating for vegetarians- wasn't very exciting.

The staff and how they were working is exceptional. They were so nice, kind and helpful, they offered good activities but they didn't force it. They also arranged our transfer to another island. We've gotten bed decoration and we were entitled by the staff. The location was great and that we could have entered from two streets made easier when we missed the main entrance. The juices were good and the meal portions were completely fine. We're waiting to see you again! :) Please keep up the good work, the attitude and warm welcome what you showed us is outstanding!

Sometimes the meal taste wasn't met with our expectations but besides that they were good. So we've eaten everything when we had time to do it besides the programs :D

Relatively friendly staff and punctual regarding pick up from airport and drop off.

Breakfast, food, was below standard. Worst thing the hoteland Booking.com did was, that on the 19th December sent me the message that Christmas Dinner was mandatory, at 45USD pp. Hotel was booked on the 1st of October, and cancelation was allowed up to the 1st of December. And yet, after we already checked in, we were told that the dinner was mandatory. This is daylight robbery by the Hotel and Booking.com as an accomplice. I received message from Booking.com about that so I assume they agreed to that.

This hotel is great value for money. It is 3 star hotel, but the whole personell was trying to make them to be 5 star hotel. This is the best hotel staff that i was ever in contact with. Cleaning of the room is daily, also they are here for every need you have

The only thing i did not like about this hotel was the same lunch and dinner every day. We were with full board, and the lunch and dinner were the same every day. You have to choose from 4 type od salads and 10-15 variety of food that are all based on rice, chicken, beef, pasta and curry. However once in every week you have dinner outside that have a little bit more choice

The hotel is centrally located surrounded by 2 beaches, all the shops and restaurants and the harbour from which the excursions and transfers leave. The hotel staff, especially Shamil at reception, are very welcoming, polite and go out of their way to make one's stay exceptional. They are very well organised yet relaxed so that one gets into the holiday mood right at check in. I also loved that the hotel (as Triton tours) arrange excursions themselves, which are more than competitively prices by giving a further $5 discount per person, and one gets accompanied from the hotel to the harbour and then handed to some amazing guides, especially MD Murad, Liton and Mark who make the whole experience fun, safe and very relaxing even when the sea is rough. Another impressive point about the hotel was the amazing massages provided in the Spa, especially by therapist Annie, who literally unlocked my shoulder in just one Balinese massage, in which she specialises.

Nothing

We needed to extend our stay, so we had to book another room (109-economy), as our (306-deluxe) wasn't available for all dates. So, first the review of 306 (109 will be mentioned in the dislikes section). The room was large, nice, comfortable and sunny. The overall stay was nice. Little shops, supermarkets, restaurants, travel agents, everything was really a few steps from the hotel. For the cheaper options walk from the no bikini beach towards the prison. There are cheaper good restaurants.

While on a balcony, you could smell the hotel's kitchen, which wasn't very pleasant. Most of the time we smelled the sewer system from the bathroom, so be sure to close the bathroom door at all times. We complained about the sewer system smell at the reception, they just told us they've never experienced that issue with this room (what??). Nothing fixed. Waiting for the hot water in the shower about 3 minutes. Little cockroaches in the room (but we saw them there just once). And room 109? If you are really looking for a budget stay, why not to take it. But, if you want to enjoy your vacation, this tiny room is really not the place you'd like to stay. Pay more for deluxe!

I truly loved everything about the hotel. The staff was 10/10, I really felt supported throughout our whole stay. Food was great, specially the dinner! I told the staff that they need to tell the chef how amazing the food was! I really wish we can go back and visit them again in the future! We felt like we made multiple new friends. The room was nice and tidy with a small balcony. It was perfect. My partner had an injury in the end of our trip so he needed to go to the hospital every single day for antibiotics and check ups and they helped us tremendously! They are the nicest staff, so helpful and I cannot thank them enough for their effort on helping us. I am not even sure what we could've done without Triton Beach Hotel & Spa. Even with the all the bad things that were happening with my partner, we had the best time there!

The staff is wonderful. Special thanks to Humaira and Shameel, who went above and beyond! The spa (massages) is very nice too! It's very confenient that you can book all your trips at reception. Good prices, so no need to "shop around" at other places. In case you book the room with breakfast and dinner, you'll have breakfast at the hotel, but (buffet) diner at a different hotel (Prestige). Very nice buffet!!

There is no internet connection in the rooms, which is unfortunate. Wifi at the reception works though.

I loved the staff, everyone was very nice and super helpful. The room was very clean and comfy.

The fact that I was told that the transport (the motorboat) is a fixed price, 30 dollars per person in each direction, but then I was told another thing the night before we were leaving. Honestly, everything else was perfect but this I did not like. The guy at the reception told us the night before we were leaving that there is only one more person on the boat with us bcs it's an early flight so we need to split the price (one direction, motorboat, 180dollars) between us 4. We did ask a couple of days in advance to confirm the original price, 30dollars,which was agreed 2 weeks before we came, and we were told not to worry and that they do that a day before you leave. I don't like the fact I was left with no choice and not correct information in advance.
