Great breakfast -- something for every taste -- rooms are very clean, as are the in-room bathroom, and everything looks recently updated -- LED lighting throughout, bathroom fixtures, etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful, airport shuttle prompt and just a short ride from the airport. I would most definitely stay here again. The Superior Room was slightly better than the Deluxe room and has a better view of the ocean -- we had to switch rooms due to separate bookings caused by a glitch in booking.com Laundry service was also fast and efficient!

The hotel next door, Samaan Grand, has a much better restaurant for dinner. It is about 30 feet away from the entrance to the Unima Grand, so not difficult to get to -- reservations recommended. We ate in the Unima Grand restaurant the first night, and it has a great view of the ocean and Male waterfront, airport, and surrounding area.

Upon our evening arrival at Malé airport, we were promptly greeted by a member of the Unima Grand team. He efficiently transported us to the hotel, where he handled our luggage, and the check-in process was completed within two minutes. During check-in, we informed the reception about our next hotel, and they kindly arranged the entire transfer for us. The following morning, we checked out at 11 am, and within 55 minutes, a car was ready to take us back to the airport. The staff assisted us in locating the dedicated booth for our next hotel with ease. While at our next destination, we realised that we had left a charger plug at Unima Grand. We called the hotel at around 11 pm, and they immediately answered, sending a picture of the plug along with our room number. The next day, they arranged for the charger to be dropped off at the airport, at the dedicated booth of our current hotel. Special thanks to the night duty team member and Mr. Rahim, Mr Samadh for their exceptional service. The team went above and beyond to assist us.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our Male stopovers. Both times the staff was extremely responsive before our arrival in the airport pickup organization, and we received a great checking service and welcome. We loved that the airport pickup and drop-off were included in the price, and the service was great. They also communicated directly with our other resorts for the seaplane arrangements and arranged our airport drop-offs accordingly. Also, the restaurant was great and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back here in my next Male trip!

Very nice hotel, just 10 min away from the airport by car and i think if your tranfering by ferry +/- 250m from Ferry Station. Medium size rooms, clean and comfy. Very helpful staff. Even it was 1 night reservation before the morning flight, they were able to arrange easily pick up/drop off from airport to hotel and viceversa, thank you guys for that. The restaurant at the top of the building- 10 th floor was great, nice service + super tasty food. Fast internet. Definitely will book for the next trip.

Not that can be changed anytime soon, but for future travelers - be aware that in the area are 2 mosques, the noise might harm your sleeping.

Very good location for me, breakfast was very good and included in my stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, also in a strange situation with a person who followed me they were very attentive and helpful. The reception staff was very nice, the lobby looked impeccable and WiFi was immediately offered upon arrival and worked well throughout the premises. The airport transfer was much appreciated, fast and well-organised. The car was very clean. I recommend staying here for a night or two!

There was a bit of a smell of cigarettes in the room and the view was onto another building just meters away. It looked a bit run-down but was overall I enjoyed my stay there!

Breakfast was very good, lovely view (the restaurant is on the top (10th) floor. Very nice employees, especial Amina was very professional and we felt well at all times. The reception was very nice (drink, cold towel, etc..). Supper was good and to normal good prices. Room air conditioning was effective and quiet, nice big bathroom. We had a Delux room with view to the Sea and airport. Lovely. Can only recommend the hotel.

The only negative point was, that after having a dring on the roof bar we couldnt pay it with local money (Rufees). They only allowed payment in dollars (cash or credit card). I think there is absolutely no reason for such a discriminatory policy (locals can pay with local money). It was no problem, but I mus say not very profesional from the hotel itself.

We had two overnight stays: before travelling to our island resort, then also on the return journey. Both times, the airport transfers included in the hotel price were smooth and efficient. The hotel is a little impersonal but perfectly comfortable and efficient. Both breakfast and evening meals were good - also fine for vegetarians. It is worth opting for a sea-view room with a balcony on as high a floor as possible. From the small balcony one has a good view of the water traffic and the airport runway (1500m away). Tip: there is a roof terrace with good views that is not much used - take the lift to the restaurant doors then look to your right for the stairs to the terrace.

Service of the hotel starting from booking till departure just awesome. Unima Grand gave me confidence from the very first connection. They were always on what’s up and though our local flight was delayed they met us at the airport and delivered to the hotel by a car. This hotel is perfect for the night before international flight departure. You can rely on them for arranging the cars timely on your arrival and departure. They meet you with the fresh towels and juices and provide excellent breakfast. Also the dinner at the roof restaurant is nice, that was one of the best grilled tuna for the reasonable price at Maldives with healthy vegetables

The room is small but for not long stay it is ok

We were only there a few hours as we arrived at 10pm and left 6.30 am. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful - we were given a take-away breakfast as we left early. The included transport to and from the airport was very well organised and comfortable.
