We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Portia. The staff working at the hotel are some of the nicest people we have ever met, the most helpful, accommodating, and friendly staff I’ve ever come across. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and offers entertaining activities at a better price than most other places. The food was delicious and the variety on the menu offers options for people with different preferences. The hotel is right next to the most popular bikini beach on the island, and isn’t too far from the other one (about 5-10 mins walking) with plenty of cafes and stores around. Every concern, issue, or question we had was addressed and answered right away. If we ever go back to the Maldives, it will have to be the same hotel!

Dont take ful board, because the food is cheap and you pay much less if you pay for each meal. That is the only thing I didnt like.

Breakfast and dinner right by the water, perfect service, possibility of ordering special dishes, bikini beach right next to it, peace and quiet, what more could you want. Additional trips - no problem. Octopus for dinner - you're welcome. Different breakfasts every day for 5 days, the local cuisine is really tasty and, compared to other places on the island, really not expensive. The island itself is beautiful, peaceful, and the people are incredibly friendly.

Very helpful staff. Good contact. Tasty food. Free drinking water. Perfect view. Free snorkeling equipment. Please be aware that to the price on booking you should add taxes and if you paying by card in the hotel the 3.5% commission will be added. If possible take cash with you. All in all I totally recommend this accomodation.

great staff, they do everything to make the guests feel good. Room cleaning was on request, of high quality, the manager always answered in WhatsApp, organized excursions and transfers for us. great view from the room with balconies. thanks to the staff, the trip turned out to be very comfortable and pleasant. thank you!

guys, please, you have to do something about the flies and the crows, it's unbearable. A little more light in the evening wouldn't hurt. for me the biggest problem was very poor breakfast, well, the lack of vegetables and fruits, but this shortcoming can be explained - for this on Srilanka

Nice hotel on a premium spot. Clear turquoise water, white beaches and waving palms to be seen from your room (when you book that one). Personal and service is outstanding. And the hotel kitchen serves good food You can join breakfast in the morning along the seaside where mini sharks and stingrays are passing by. There is a small beach in front of the hotel with some sunbeds. And at Bibee beach the hotel provides you sunbeds and parasols. Also the hotel can facilitate in trips and can arrange the transfer from and too Dhiffushi

The hotel can improve on number of good sunbeds and also the wifi can improve. Tip! Ask fir the Crown beach villa wifi to ensure wifi also on the beach in front of the hotel

The staff was very nice and helpful! Sometimes breakfast wasn't so varied, would be good to have chicken or tuna pieces not just sandwiches, you had to take more to feel not hungry. But their lunches and dinners were really good, the menu is varied. The beach is not really good, Inconvenient dipping in the sea, many stones on the shore, we cut off the legs. It would be good to fill the sand entrance into the sea and make it more comfortable as on the beach next to this (I am not sure if that's public or bikini).

Very caring Portia team who makes the best they can for their guests. Especially Sonal, who is exceptional manager! The service really exceeds expectations! The best beach on Diffushi is Bebe Beach (which near the Portia): no seeweeds, clean beach and deep enough either for kids and adults. The hotel provides umbrellas and sun bases there. In short: unlimited pure water in bottles, accept union pay, the best beach on island, good smell in hotel and in the room, quiet at night, air conditioning, good food, ocean view, no insects (very rare ants), organise transfer from/to airport, and absolutely amazing staff! The staff was always kind and helpful, and especially attentive: we had a little emergency and they dropped us with their car to the local hospital/pharmacy. The food was amazing and the staff always satisfied our vegetarian requests, additionally we had the best breakfasts and dinners with feet in the sand and seaview. Big bottles of water, umbrellas and sunbeds were offered for free.

Perfect for a week getaway in Maldives! The stuff - Sonal & the rest of lovely crew - were extremely helpful and welcoming, truly making you want to return there one day. And they even organised surprise goodbye dinner for us, which was wonderful! The location is good, 50 meters from the beach, and literally next to the diving centre :) The hotel provides umbrellas, sunbeds, portable water bottles & snorkelling equipment for free too! Sonal also organised few boat trips for us and helped immensely with transfer to the airport! The island was such a cozy place too! I’d suggest everyone to explore the island and fall in love with it as we did! The food selection is a bit limited, and you can definitely try everything twice if you stay for a week with 3-meal service. But everything was tasty & I definitely had some favs which I was happy to try many times! :)

The cleaning could have been done more thoroughly, unfortunately, but I’m sure it’d have been fixed by stuff if I pointed it out. But it didn’t affect the overall experience. The only thing I’d suggest is to provide some kind of racks (?) to dry clothes on for rooms with no balcony. The only place you can do it is on the rooftop. And since it rained during our stay we had to improvise a bit.
