Exceptional 'find'. At this price point, exceptional, for sure. Very attractive aesthetic...clean lines, clean surfaces throughout, artistic touches...clearly well thought out. Crisp comfortable linens. Comfortable semi-open air 'lobby' and gathering area. Convenient, clean cafe for breakfast or lunch, with very well executed offerings. Genial owners live onsite, other staff equally friendly. Location is a block from the malecon, but just enough west to be away from the noise. Street parking was easily found on either side out front, and felt safe/secure. Place for my folding bike off the main gathering area beneath the stairs to the upper level was a welcome bonus.

The location was super. The outter area was very nice. Room was nice. Bathroom was nice as well. Daytime clerk was cool.

No wash clothes. Towels were worn. Night clerk was agnostic. Not very friendly. I never have been at any hotel that did not supply wash cloths. And the room was never was cleaned once the two days we were staying there. Albeit I would stay there again. Just bring our own wash cloths. Parking was non existent. I suggest newer towels and wash cloths be provided. I mean yellowing towels? wash cloths is normal. Yes? The drinking water jug or bottle was empty both days. Vexed because drinking water is essential, I should think. Lastly a faint Oder of mildew. The shower curtain perhaps?

The Lorimar has been completely remodeled. It has a fresh new look, with clean lines. The lobby has plenty of seating to visit and play games. The Lorimar has a coffee shop that also serves breakfast. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. They were very accommodating and friendly.

The only thing I have to suggest is to have a night light next to the bed.

Great value, lovely courtyard, very friendly staff. We were allowed to leave bags before check-in and kindly allowed to leave them and hangout in the courtyard after check out until our evening bus. Good sized room for price Great cafe with great breakfast, free drinking water.

Hard to reach bathroom window for a short person. Extra hand towels as well as bath would be nice. Room a little bare...a picture or two or mirror in the room? Tea/coffee facilities in room or communal space would be nice.

Location is excellent, very close to the Malecon for food and activities. Cleanliness of the room was very good. Air conditioning worked well and was more than adequate in very hot temperatures, Desk staff all speak excellent English and are very pleasant. Overall, basic accommodation at a good price.

Parking is very limited on a main street, room accommodations are somewhat minimal and supplies like shampoo, and face cloths were not provided, only a small bar of soap and bath towel. As is pretty normal in La Paz, water pressure was very low and hot water took a long time to arrive.

The location, right in middle of old town. Just walk for cafes, bars, the local market, church, public plaza. The bed was very comfy, room size its ok, good wifi signal, attentive staff, big parking. Don't expect more than you paid for, but this option for rest and near from downtown its more than expected.

It was as I expected after reading the other users comments. Just consider the outs for night live if you like it for.

I enjoyed getting away from a lot of street traffic in an air bnb that I originally booked. I didn’t sleep for 3 nights in the prev location. When I arrived here it was quiet and close to everything. The food was very good in the morning to get the day started. This place saved my trip to La Paz

There is always something that could be improved but I didn’t find it during my stay

It’s in the perfect location for restaurants and walks along the malecón! Reception staff were always kind and let me leave my bags/early check in! Very kind and happy cleaning ladies, everything and everyone was just organised well.

In my first room (I stayed twice) it took a while for the water to heat up - this is normal in some building in Mexico. Second was super speedy and hot!

10min walk from the bus station, 2 blocks from El Malecon (main strip). A/C unit was flawless (Minisplit - excellent!). Clean, good water pressure / hot water. Wi-Fi worked excellent (only used my phone for social media and youtube videos). Bed was comfortable as well as pillows.

Outdated furniture & fixture (OK for price and area), no TV in room (as listed), they do have a TV (shared) at lobby, no additional amenities like shampoo (towel, soap and A/C remote is provided, paper rolls are in restroom OK). Very noisy in the am (first night tried to sleep in but they were working the rooms)

Perfect location. A block from the beach and a block from the open market. Where there are tons of shops and more the flavor of Mexico.

Only on street parking. This hotel is basic . Clean very friendly people. Very inexpensive. Most the rooms are 50US with taxes included. I live in Baja I’m not on a short vacation. There are fancier hotels on the beach. Lorimar is perfect.
