We loved our stay here. Luisa the owner has done an amazing job creating a beautiful, tasteful and comfortable residence. She is very hospitable and helpful with recommendations and helped us book a tour to Esprito Santo island. I felt I was visiting a distant aunt. Our room was very comfortable and clean. There is a beautiful common area to hang out if you are not out and about. The breakfast was great and we looked forward to it everyday. We got served a bit of granola, yogurt and local fruits first followed by a warm Mexican breakfast that varied every day.

Beautiful property, ideally located in town close to the seafront and downtown whilst also being very quiet. Luisa was a wonderful hostess and made sure we had everything we needed and was comfortable. She even went above and beyond helping us with a car rental issue and took the time to assist us with the problem when the car rental company were being useless! So grateful to her and lovely staff too. Would 100% recommend staying here in La Paz - we wish we could have stayed longer!

Totally in love with mantarraya. The warmest team, the best breakfasts and the best rooms in town. If you want to stay in aesthetically pleasing place with the sweetest people then you found your spot. And if you’re unsure on what to do in Baja, Luisa got you covered- she is the sweetest person who will help you in any way she can.

Everything was perfect

Beautiful and quaint property, clean and well designed. feels luxurious. Amazing beds and linens. Luisa Fernanda received us well and set us up with a great tour of the islands with almost no notice. The breakfast was great and her two dogs are the absolute sweetest! We were able to park on the street in front without any problems. I really wish we could stay longer! I will definitely come back next visit to La Paz.

Luisa, the owner, is very hospitable and super helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the property is so peaceful. The most restful night we’ve had since road-tripping from Mexicali to La Paz. Great location - east walk around the city and short distance to the malecon & beach!

I’d find a solution to the flies & little gnats that was hovering around our food since we were sitting outside. But I understand this might be difficult to manage.

The host and owner Luisa was warm and welcoming, such a sweet and gracious person and had great recommendations. The location was perfect, on a quiet street but still close enough to walk to the promenade and the main downtown area. Loved the design of the place, well curated and beautiful. Home cooked breakfast in the morning, family style. Had a wonderful stay. We were well taken care of.

Thoughtfully put together from clever use of wall colours, textures, fabrics, bathroom products and fresh bed linen to delicious breakfast with equally delicate salsa as local honey, - to the knowledgeable Luisa and her many languages, clearly appreciated by locals and visitors alike.

The place is quaint and beautiful! Very relaxing to just hang in the yard and dip your feet in the pool. Owner is so nice and welcoming. She greets you kindly and explains all the cute little perks of the hotel, like the yummy breakfast and the beach stuff she offers guests to use when they adventure! Walking distance to all the great places! Easy to park! Feels safe and secure.

The location is great, walking distance to the Malecon, a short drive away from some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. They have beach chairs and umbrellas available for your use. Breakfast is fantastic and the garden area is relaxing. I was so glad we could bring our little dog with us too.

The location was great. The property was well-designed and made the small space seem open and airy. It was very quiet for an inner-city location. Louisa and her pups were delightful!

It would have been nice to have off-street parking. An earlier breakfast time would have suited our plans better.
