The hotel is beautiful, just like the photos! The staff were excellent too!

One thing that needs to be improved is their parking system. Guests are supposed to walk two or three blocks every day to do a check in with the people from the parking lot. This protocol takes away time from our vacation, and it is annoying to reserved time to do this every day. If we already paid for the parking since day one, they registered our vehicle from both sides, then I think that there is no need to be checking in every day.

We loved coming back to a dip in the heated pool after a day out. The room was clean, and the location was great.

Breakfast was not available as the restaurant was closed, despite it saying otherwise on the website. The only drinking water was a small bottle each in the room. It would have been great if there had been a water cooler for guests to refill drinking bottles.

Pretty much everything. Well located, family business. Well landscaped and much loved gardens. The rooms have lovely, appropriate furniture with elegant doors and tiles etc. There’s a creation that does light meals during the day and a lovely warm, small swimming pool. Above all, the attitude of the owners and staff. Proactive in their help - nothing was too much trouble - staying beyond checkout time to catch an evening bus, was a joy.

Very beautiful hotel, great location, Staff were all friendly. The pool was heated which was nice because it was a bit cold out overall we really enjoyed this hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and had a good view of everything. Even had food delivered to us and wasn't a long walk to go see things.

Wish they had closer parking or their own parking but they directed us to a place where we could park our car overnight which was nice.

This hotel is very beautiful and very comfortable. It is a family owned business so they put their heart and soul into it. It was such a unique place to stay and the staff were so helpful and happy to help you in any way. The courtyard area was beautiful and so lovely to sit in in the morning for breakfast or at night.

It was very nice and a cute lovely place, really well taken care of and extremely clean. Staff was friendly and professional. The bed was great, massive and really comfortable matress. It was super quiet at night. We could listen to a water fountain which was relaxing.

One morning we went to have breakfast and it was closed without prior notice, because of mother's Day. We understand is one of the bigger festivities in Mexico, but they should have said something in advance as we had other things programmed and was inconvenient.

This was our favorite place we stayed our trip to Mexico. It was so well cared for. The staff were so friendly and treated us like friends. The grounds are well cared for, excellent location. Comfortable room. Gracias hotel La casa de mama!

The hotel is great, based around a nice courtyard area with lovely plants and a heated pool. The room was also great, with a big double bed and a nice bathroom. The staff were all very helpful and approachable.

I would've comfortably given the hotel a 10 if the WiFi connection was OK, but it was terrible. I'm aware this is 'first world problems' but we were wanting to plan the rest of our trip which was simply impossible due to the internet connection which was more or less non-existent. They had three different connections, none of which worked for the duration of our stay, which was very frustrating.

A really good base from which to explore San Cristobal. The main square is three blocks walk away, but being a little further out is good as I think the heart of town would be too noisy.

The rooms are all wood so a bit of noise comes through from other rooms, and the bathroom windows permanently open onto the bathroom next door, which at times is a bit too much information!

The staff always makes a stay a place you want to come back to. They exceeded in courtesy and friendliness and we so enjoyed the time spent here😊 The garden area was so beautifully kept up by this amazing gardener (who gave me a few tips!!). We would definitely one day return👏👏❤️
