Hotel is very centrally located, building is gorgeous, comfortable, well lit, spacious and more importantly, quiet and serene. No wonder the WiFi network is CALM.

Only hiccup is about pillows. Bed isn’t extremely comfortable, it is actually juts average and doesn’t match the context, and pillows are cluttered -old- not firm enough, just not nice. All of them. I visit San Cristobal often and I have stayed in several hotels, most of them fail to address correctly the issue of wonderful beds, lining and pillows. Incorrectly thought this one would be different.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was excellent. Housekeeping was very good. Wifi worked well. The size of the room was great with a very nice bathroom. Beds we were extremely comfortable.

We didn't have a view and the room was very stuffy. It was not possible for us to manage the climate in the room, other than to open windows and doors. And that still did not help with air flow. We often got fumes from the kitchen.

Loved the huge room and its facilities. The bar and restaurant were excellent and really enjoyed a late night drink sitting round the fire pit. The location was perfect - just minutes from the main square and all the staff were professional and friendly. One of the staff was particularly helpful when we were not picked up for a tour we had booked, she rang our contact and explained in Spanish and we were picked up later on.

The hotel location is perfect. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice too. The room is spacious and also has a balcony with green foliage. The furniture in the room is new, clean and well maintained. The rooms are well lit and there is enough lighting and air conditioning. Bathroom and shower is also very spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff are very courteous, give good advice, and help make fantastic arrangements for excursions and travels around town. Their suggestions for local shopping of fabrics, coffee, meals, etc were spot on!

The room is not cheap! For the price we paid, we would have expected, at minimum, a kettle to boil water, to make tea or coffee, or some facilities like a mini-bar so that we dont have to rely on room service all the time. However, there is no such facility in the room at all.

Everything! I have traveled a lot in MX and this Hotel was extra special! The staff , rooms , restaurant and location was fantastic! Fell in love with San Cristobal de las Casas ! This is definitely the place to stay if you make a visit ! Didn’t have time to visit the Spa , next time ! Patricia

The location was great, very clean room, just like the pictures. They also offered us an alcoholic welcoming drink which was a nice touch.

Kristel was great, however she was the only English speaking receptionist, so we found it quite difficult to communicate with the other members of staff.

The room was wonderful, with a great marriage of modern design and tradition, creating an atmosphere that made the journey worth while. When I set foot in the hotel I felt comfortable and relaxed, exactly what I needed, and it got better and better. Lovely room, great bathroom, just exquisite. The lobby was inviting and luxurious, the staff was excellent.

breakfast had limited selection and charged us extra for asking milk for cereals :) prices for tours and taxis via the hotel were 1.5-3x more expensive than elsewhere. Overall - not so great value for the price

The room is very comfortable, hot water all the time, location is super, staff were very nice. Has al the facilities a hotel should have. Great value for money.

A beautiful and special hotel, excellent location, caring staff, breakfast in a restaurant facing the street, special, very beautiful, delicious with personal attention. it was fun!

The beds are less comfortable in my opinion
