Nice family pool. Clean facilities.

Key cards weren’t working properly. We had 4 rooms and all 3 of them had issues with malfunctioning key cards. You have to swipe it several times until it finally opens. I had to go down to the reception 4 separate times in 2 days to get the card to work again. With a baby in my hands and elevators constantly out of service and always full, it took me about 20-30 minutes at times just to get up to my room all because the key cards. It was very upsetting that I had to waste my precious vacation time on this inconvenience.

Housekeeping was wonderful! Pool staff was great. Bell staff was great! this was our 14th year in Acapulco (did not come in 2024). We usually stay at Fiesta Americana but we did not this year due to too much confusion about reopening and very high rates. We were very happy with Emporio. It was a real hotel with a vibrant lobby! Location was fabulous.

Last 3 nights (we were there 13) the screaming baby was very irritating. All night long. Somehow when we checked in my name was entered incorrectly as Kate Peraza Sanchez - even though it was correct in the booking and on my credit card! My name is Kate Pera but in your system ( restaurant receipts and internet) it was incorrect. Very bothersome.

The room was very clean and big, with a balcony that had the perfect view of the pools and the ocean! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurants are awesome great food, service, and views. Oscar was our waiter and he was very personable.

There was a 3rd pool that was an extra charge, I thought that was unnecessary. All pools on the property should be available to all guests. Also outside of the hotel, the vibe was very different there were armed guards on every street corner, armed guards in full gear! It felt a little unnerving. The streets and other hotels are still destroyed and abandoned due to a hurricane that hit only 6 months before I arrived.

the hotel is on a wonderful lokavia, the beach is wonderful, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is friendly, there are 3 swimming pools..

the hotel was a 5-star hotel when it was opened, now it is terribly worn out, especially the rooms below urgently need renovation, the smell from the sewage is so strong that it is unpleasant to stay in the room and they need to solve the problem with mosquitoes, our whole body was stung

Conditions of the hotel are great, I understand the hurricane caused a lot of damage to many hotels in Acapulco but Emporio is doing great. The room service was great, I enjoyed the food. My room on the 4th floor had a beautiful view.

I called in advance asking about using the Business center and said was free but at the hotel they said there was a $1 peso fee per minute. It is not much but I was confused about the information. Also, I arrived early, they pre-checked me and allowed me to use the pool but they did not allowed me to use the beach towels before my check in at 3pm, I was disappointed.

The room was spacious with a great view over Acapulco bay. The location is in the centre of the main strip - close to many restaurants and shops. The check-in process was quick and easy - we arrived late in the evening, so there was no queue. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The buffet breakfast is had a wide range of food, including eggs cooked to order.

The location of this hotel is perfect. There are bars, night clubs, restaurants, grocery stores walking distance. Super convenient. Pretty easy to take a taxi or bus as well.

Our room key didn’t work a couple times which was frustrating because we would have to walk back down to get it fixed each time. But the staff was very helpful and quick to solve that. The sink in the bathroom was leaking when we will turn on the water and it will make a mess.

Had 2 pools, amazing children pool snaked around in a circle with slides and pirate ship water jets and a swim up bar and and island with bar restaurant and loungers on and around the whole pool, the other pool was for adults calm and relaxing with loungers all around both tropical plants all around which led to the beach area with little thatched lounges sheds ?? with bar services

We thought the buffet restaurant was expensive

Loved the access to the beach, the pools, the restaurants and the staffs ability to go above and beyond to make sure the guests received what they were asking for.

Even though it was still being remodeled after being hit by the hurricane there was no inconvenience to the guests staying at their hotel.

- fantastic location, beach at the hotel, swimming pool(s) with different depths, with water in moderate temperature - beautiful view - from anywhere actually. I loved view from balcony, delighted view of the bay - hotel staff very helpfull, quickly resolve arising problems - safe place - we ate brakfast outside of hotel - there's Vips and Sanborns quite close. La Casa the Los Abuelos is just on other side of street

- AC very very noisy, made sounds as if the its fans were about to fly away... It was impossible to sleep, we had to switch off for the night - flush worked very strangely, sometimes the 'stuff' returned - few times in row our door access cards stopped working - we wasted some time going to reception desk to 'repair' them. - the shower was operating by magic, we thought it was broken, and it just required special effort - palapas cost 500MXN, however 400MXN can be used for food and actually 100MXN is for palapas rent. there was no any writte information about how it works. - parking cost 130MXN/day
