Very friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable hotel with continental breakfast daily included. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable, and is a short taxi ride from Centro or Zapopan or Tlaquepaque for sightseeing. The pool is small and unheated (my trip was in November) but is still a treat after a day of roaming around. Had trouble getting a rideshare to the airport my last day because of a major conference in town, and they efficiently booked me a private car to the airport at the last minute.

Tea/coffee facilities in lobby or rooms would be a nice touch, as well as a more secure lockbox/safe in the rooms. Had some trouble balancing temperature control in the shower at times.

I want to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Every single person we spoke to and interacted with were beyond friendly and helpful. The desk agent that worked the late afternoon on the day that we arrived was very accommodating and made us feel at home instantly. The servers in the dining area are super attentive and fast. This is a fun hotel with very interesting and creative decor. If we ever have to travel to Zapopan again, we will definitely book our stay here.

Quiet and safe area of Guadalajara with great restaurants just 10-15 min walk away. Easy to get an Uber ride in to the city centre. Approx £5. Quiet neighbourhood, quirky place with real character and charm. Very comfortable beds. One very kind lady spoke excellent English and helped us so much, but if you don’t speak Spanish, then make sure you have Google translate downloaded. Helped so much.

Breakfast was continental and very sparse. A couple of bits of fruit and a cake, so we ended up heading out hungry and buying breakfast/early lunch in town. Could be improved, just by adding an omelette/eggs and toast as a choice.

A very authentic Mexican property. The staff were exceptional and really made our visit memorable. Would highly recommend this accommodation!

We were unfortunate to have other guests who were very noisy and inconsiderate - meeting in front of our rooms for chats after midnight and partying on the balcony until 2.00 am - so recommend you take ear plugs. During the week it was lovely and quiet but the weekend was ruined by this very noisy group.

Everyone was very attentive, overall the hotel is super clean and comfortable and price is reasonable

I can’t pick any situation that didn’t like but I could suggest to management to improve with some remote control for the garage so we don’t have to bother the staff every time I need to get out or in to enclosed parking space

My Spanish got worse as I got more tired throughout the week, but the staff was kind and helpful in communicating with me every day. We were in town for a wedding and they were able to let us in late both nights which was super helpful. Property was secure and beautiful, breakfasts were light and delicious. Bathroom is gorgeous and spacious. Loved having a little patio. Everything was clean and comfy.

The door knob on the inside of the bathroom came off a couple times but was an easily fixable problem.

This hotel is so very charming but the staff make it super special. They welcomed us and our dogs as if we were family. They provided great information about the area and helped arrange a private car to take us sightseeing. The morning breakfast was fresh and delicious. Great Coffee - amazing atmosphere and the warmest most amazing staff ever. We will be back!

Since I am a rental host myself these little things are just to help the property go from a 10 to a 10 plus. The marble used int he shower is slippery - I would suggest s rubber mat. Show pressure was inconsistent as was temperature - I think they need to check on plumbing issues as this is a historic older home.

Such a gorgeous hotel with so much character. The staff were very very nice and attentive, and the room was just to die for with a really beautiful bath! The breakfast was delicious and everything was of the highest quality. Only good things to say about this place - highly recommended !
