I like everything in this hotel,it is a little pricey, but is worth it, I love the restaurant on the 7th floor, very nice view from the terrace...drinks and food,pricey as well. Rooms are very nice ,very clean and nice bathrooms, the cleaning staff very attentive,please leave a good tip,for them cause they go out of their way to keep your rooms nice and clean.

I had a bad experience with their laundry service. I know,they send out the laundry to a different vendor. And it is not done in the hotel. When I got my clothes back one of my t-shirts was stained I paid more than 40 dollars for that shirt, and my docker shorts were stained as well. I did tell the front desk about it,they told me to leave the garments,which I did. I had to ask for my clothes back ,cause they (front desk) never called me for an explanation from their laundry service. I did not get any type of compensation or at.least.an apology. This is the 3rd time I stay at this hotel. My shorts..I was able to take the stain out..but not my shirt..it was bleach stained...ruined.

The hotel is in the city center, excellent for sightseeing and taking part in city activities, especially at nights and on the weekend. Keep in mind that this is a very busy area of the old town with tremendous numbers of people and street traffic, carrying certain risks and annoyances. We loved being in the in the middle of such a vibrant city.

Sometimes there were long lines to restaurants and to certain vendors, but not intolerable. There are, of course, a number of homeless and beggars, as in most great metropolises. Life has not treated all of us kindly.

Complimentary breakfast: The breakfast was delicious, although it leaned more towards European flavors than Mexican.

While the breakfast was enjoyable, it would be nice to see more Mexican options.

I think the rooms could have been way cleaner, it was very dusty, the shower did not seem very clean and when i got there the shampoo and conditioner were empty. I asked for a cleaning service twice but they were not refilled ever. Also the bottles were sticky and not clean either.

I like how clean the property was, I liked the location of the property but at the same time I hated it. Super busy and lots of homeless. The staff kept the hotel very cleans and safe. At night the main entrance was locked and you were let in by staff.

I disliked how long the valet parking took because free self parking was not included in the stay because of the location. The area was very unsafe at night and lots of homeless asleep in every corner.

The breakfast and the breakfast terrasse with the view were fantastic.

I arrived from the Danish Embassy with a Danish delegation to Jalisco. We arrived a bit early at the hotel and the reception said the delegations rooms were ready, but they should pay extra, to be able to get in to them a few hours before check-in time at the hotel. I believe that is extremely bad service. I could understand, if the rooms were not ready and had to be cleaned faster that you should pay extra, but rooms that are ready.........I have never tried that before and definitely not when everything is ready. That is in my opinion in extremely bad taste and not something I would expect at Doubletree.

Location mostly excellent. Restaurants close by. Shopping conveniently located. Beautiful square, churches close by.

The hotel is not on the street. It is located in the middle of the square and you can not drive right up. You must carry all your luggage from the taxi stop or a public parking garage. You can see the Hotel name up high on a building but finding the entrance was a little difficult. I had a lot of luggage and was alone. I walked around and around the square looking for entrance. It was marked by a small blue sign that was easily obscured by other things in the busy square. Many times I had to stop and put things down to look at my phone for directions. I ended up losing a valuable item in this process. Finally I had to stop at a nearby business and ask for help.

the room had a coffee maker but was not provided complimentary coffee. there was only one night stand so I had to place my things on the floor at night. the headboard was worn down, torn, and dirty. lastly the tv did not work upon my arrival. I mentioned to the front desk about the lack of a night stand and the non working tv. they said they would look into it but never did. the staff while not rude were not very approachable/friendly.

Everything was absolutely wonderful!

The one thing that I didn't like, was the service in the restaurant was not great! The waiters completely ignored us, didn't come to see if we needed anything. We were looking for someone so we can ask for our check. Not very pleased with that but everything else was perfect. 😉
