The breakfast was nice and simple. They had coffee, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, cookies and juice available which was enough for me. I felt it was very secure and safe because of the locks on the front door. The rooms had a lot of natural light. The showers were available all day. There is no lock on the bathroom doors but I felt safe by just closing the doors of the bathroom. I felt that everyone was respectful to the privacy of others staying there. There was a lady who was friendly she would clean the floors and bath rooms everyday. The vibe of the entire place was comfortable for me. Staff was accomidating and kind. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. I got to experience a private room the 1st night which they give you a key to open. It had a lock on the entrance and then a lock on the bedroom I stayed in. It was very secure and I felt safe. Then I went into the coed dorms the last 3 nights. The bunk beds were fairly comfortable I got to sleep on the bottom one which was easier for me. I was by the window which was open and gave off a lot of breeze from the outside which I loved.

As a woman I made the mistake of sleeping in the shared room with all the guys, even with my partner in the bed next to me I was on edge the entire time. The guys were very loud going in and out of the rooms, slamming the doors or leaving it wide open when I was trying to sleep. I am not saying they were threatening in any way, it was just different. I think it would have been more comfortable for me to sleep in the room with the other women instead.

The location is excellent, and the reception staff and cleaners were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was filling and appreciated, and the water pressure was very good in the showers. The common spaces were spacious and well-used, and the laundry service was fairly-priced with a very fast turnaround.

Very minor issues: our private room was very hot, much hotter than outside or elsewhere in the hostel; it appears to be the only room in the hostel without an external window for ventilation. The ceiling fan doesn't do much to cool the room, and the floor fan is very loud. There is very little privacy in the showers (frosted glass with cracks), and there was often a line for them as there are only two. The television in our room didn't work; it didn't seem to have been setup and we didn't want to setup a Roku system to watch television. Not a big issue as we weren't there to watch TV, but would've been nice on one of the quieter nights.

Great location. Good place to socialize and meet new people. They offer everyday tours/activities, but you gotta ask. They give you a towel, a cozy blanket, power outlets next to the beds. Good Landry service for a good price. The hostel offers a decent breakfast with fruits and bread, we were happy with it.

We had a crap night the day we arrived, and we could barely sleep, but that's because of other people talking aloud in the dorm. The second night they left, and we could have a good rest. They didn't have locks for us to purchase, even though it's offered.

I stayed in a 8-bed mixed dorm and was positively surprised. Everyone was really respectful and calm, I slept really well and had enough space infront of my locker. The common area is big enough to disconnect from others but as well it's super easy to talk to others if wished. The staff is helpful, flexible and friendly. Location is in walking distance from the center, at night a bit further away from cool bars/clubs.

If you sleep in the top bed there are no curtains. In the common area there are no windows to open

Private room in a hostel in a building separate from the building with the dormitory rooms and the reception area. The private room is big. Windows in the toilet only, but acceptable. A lot of activities available at the hostel (please read the noticeboard in front of the reception area early in the morning and confirm the time with the receptionist because the time may change). Good breakfast in the morning in the main building, but the breakfast ends early in the morning in Mexico standard. You can buy eggs from nearby supermarket and keep them in the fridge. I joined the Tequila tour from the hostel. You can go to Tlaquepaue and Tonala on your own (easy UBER ride). Walkable distance from the Arena Coliseo Guadalajara where the Lucha Libre (Mexico Wrestling) is held every Tuesday (not Sunday). It is better to buy tickets online earlier. I bought at the counter but I was not given the seat I was promised. She gave me seats facing the back of the stage though I requested otherwise. It was hard to communicate with the staff that sold the tickets. Nice common area (a bit dark though). Friendly and helpful staff who gave me detailed suggestions on how to get to certain tourist spots.

Private room in a hostel in a building separate from the building with the dormitory rooms and the reception area. The main building is opposite to the private room building. You need to cross a street with cars. You need to walk up long stairs for both buildings, which is very hard if you have big luggage. I arrived very late at night. I was lucky that the receptionist opened the gate for me, he gave me simple instructions and asked me to go to the separate building with the two keys he gave me on my own and return the next day to complete the check in process. I politely requested him to escort me to the room which he agreed luckily as it was quite dark and quiet at night outside.

Super clean and well maintained hostel. Amazing interior relaxation common room. Good facilities and really great activities to get involved with that connects their sister hostel in the other district. Great location right in the centre of the city with good access to everywhere. Comfortable beds and a tasty varied breakfast.

Initially on my arrival in the evening I was told there wasn't any activities happening the next day but as it happened there was a trip to Tequila that I wasn't informed of. This was a one off and is the only reason I'm not rating superb for staff otherwise everyone was very friendly and informative. Socially it didn't strike me as the best hostel but might have just been the mix of guests at that time.

Amazing location just 2 blocks from one of the main squares. Big private room. Helpful and friendly staff with fun activities planned (tequila night was great!). 24/7 at the desk and no problems ever checking in or accessing the space. Huge common areas to hang out in, good WiFi, free breakfast included (which wasn't amazing but still appreciated)! Also free drinking water!

There was only one bathroom that had to be shared by multiple other rooms - I had to wait on multiple occasions to take showers / brush teeth / etc. Not ideal but it was okay.

The location is 10/10 being near the cathedral and train stations. The biggest local market is about 6 minutes walk away. There's a "tecno plaza" 2 blocks away, where all the technology needs are fulfilled like cell phone repair, protection glass (mica), protection cases, vlogger stick/stand, laptop repair. The trains are very convenient. The churches are beautiful. Breakfast is very minimal and light. You can supplement that with 2 eggs or shrimps for 10-20 pesos. Good secured hostel.

Nothing. This is my second time at Centro.

The staff was amazing, especially Marcela with her smile and always helpful with anything I needed. The common areas are great. Hammock ,guitars available and just great vibe all over . The cleaning staff always mopping the restrooms and just friendly all the time. The security cameras on entire property and just I/2 block to Juárez and Centro where all the best tourist locations in all of Guadalajara.

My bunk was squeaky but it was the only bunk with that issue. Other than that, love this place

Loved the building and it’s architecture. Lots of light in the rooms nice balconies. The staff is efficient and kind. The 2 sisters, the lady who does the cleaning was very thorough keeps everything spotless, her sister prepares great breakfasts. (Best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a Youth hostel). Keep it up!

There are only 2 showers for the women one of which needs fixing. Netflix is great! However, when used elsewhere, impossible to watch. Perhaps programming the account for each of the locations would unavailable all to watch.
