I liked Laszlo the friendly host, and the excellent location near the beach and Los Muertos pier. I liked the size and cleanliness of the apartment, the large kitchen and living area, the king-size bed, and the water pressure in the shower. The balcony overlooking the street, the pool and spectacular sunset views from the upper deck. I liked the variety and easy access to shops, stores and restaurants close by. I especially liked that it was very quiet, surprisingly so, considering the noise and activity in the street below.

Unfortunately, the one thing that might convince me to reconsider staying here again was the frustrating, non-functioning internet. Management acted as though it was a temporary problem, but I stayed there for a week, and every day without service. It was so unreliable that I had to walk to a restaurant down the street to open emails or to search for anything on the web. Very frustrating, especially in a strange place where the most convenient access to local information is the internet. I could not even reliably get an Uber from my room. It was worse than if they had no internet at all. Oh, and there is no elevator. If you are a senior, you might request a lower floor.

Staff were very helpful. Location was perfect. Rooftop is wonderful at sunset! Bit strange that the air conditioner is in the living room and the TV is in the bedroom, but it was OK! The water pressure in the shower was great, and the apartment is very quiet, despite the central location. I would go back!

I saw a few bugs, but it's the tropics! The wifi wasn't too reliable, but I wasn't there to work--so it didn't matter too much.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The AC worked well, and there was also a fan in the bedroom. The location was absolutely fantastic- only 1 minute from the beach, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and stores. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop pool was small but handy to cool off in.

It would have been nice to have had some items such as dishwashing liquid and bottles of water included in the kitchen amenities.

Great location. Great restaurants super close. Beach was a 2 minute walk out front door. Wonderful rooftop patio with a dipping pool. There was no elevator but Lazslo helped us with our bags (we’re in our 70’s) Our apartment was immaculate and housekeeping came every 3 days with new towels and sheets. Weekends can be a little noisy but that’s part of Zona Romantica. I would definitely recommend Amapas

Great location, great view, nice room.

The window blind in the bedroom did not block out light so I was kept awake by the hallway security lights. I would have preferred an option for late check out but none was offered. The hotel did not supply fresh drinking water. They need a facility to wash the sand off your feet when you enter the hotel from the beach. They need to raise the in room safe so that it is accessible without lying on the floor.

The Amampas apartments are in a wonderful location, steps from the beach and the muele. Laszlo was very helpful. The staff, though not always at the property are easy to reach by EM, Text or phone. My apartment was very clean and well stocked with all cooking needs. Always hot water and super comfy beds. Amamapas does not have the feel of the giant over priced hotels in the area. It is cozy and quiet. I'm returning to this wonderful place soon.

All the excellent exercise I got being on the top floor. If you don't like exercise choose a lower floor. I liked it and got stronger by the day.

Location was excellent, everything you needed was within a blocks walk. Laundry, convenience store, sports bar, pharmacy, restaurants, grocery store, taxi's, dentist.

Wifi signal worked best in the bedroom, so in order to connect our devices we had to lay in bed. The TV was located in the bedroom, it might be better to put it in living room or have another TV in the living room.

This is my second time at the Amapas. I really like the location and the walking distance to nearby stores, the beach and restaurant. Safe area.

There was no hot water in my room during my stay. Also, my room was not dark enough. Lights from the streets were shining thru. It is probably room on 1st floor with this issue.

Great location near the pier and just one building back from the beach. Our room and balcony had a great view of the beach and the pier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was well-equipped, including a kitchen with everything we needed. The AC worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a great value. I would definitely stay here again.

The in-room wifi was a little spotty in some parts of the apartment. The closet in our room was at the other end of the apartment from the bedroom.

Location, service, price and cleanliness are great. We had a great view from room 1103. We travel yearly to PV and very possible we will book again. This trip was to see the eclipse and it didn't disappoint from the roof.

Not the fault of Amapas but with location you get the occasional late night wake up with noise. There are some phone lines that get in your view from the room we were in. I noticed some construction taking place and hopefully the city will bury the lines in the future.
