We had a wonderful stay at Petit Hotel Pilitas. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Our room was large with a well equipped kitchen, large living area and separate bedroom with a balcony. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, lots of hot water! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and the view terrace on the roof. The location is also good, very near everything but quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but just to note that there is no elevator, and there are a lot of steps.

Unexpectedly amazing. The suite was everything I wanted. A living room, ac units, 1.5 bathrooms, and more. The amenities as well were perfect. Hot Tub, pool, and rooftop chill spots. The location is perfect for the beach and the staff were friendly and helpful. Each suite had a little different furniture and art, so the vibes between our room and our friends rooms was cute.

Wh day the hot tub started out lukewarm, but at night it was toasty and perfect. The main rooftop area was also a little small and only had lounge chairs for two people. Our particular suite only had one mirror, although other friends suites had more.

Hotel & room was very clean and the rooms are BIG. A lot of unused space - was great to have the kitchenette and it's well stocked with everything you need. Pool is small (more for a dip than a swim) and the whole building is a bit worn out but that's what living in the tropics does. Staff are friendly and it's in a good location near the restaurants, etc of the Old Town. Felt safe in the hotel with the night security, etc.

No hot water in shower

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowed us to do early check in and slightly later check out. Helped us out with hot water tank that wasn't working at first. Drinking water readily available. Had access to on-site pool and jacuzzi but didn't get a chance to use it (next time!).

Strong sewage smell in bathroom drain that went away after some time (typical in some tropical areas).

Fantastic Value with spacious rooms. Excellent location which should be why you come to the Zona Romantica. Dozens of bars and restaurants within walking distance, but just a block far enough away so you can’t hear them. Street noise is not an issue, (you can hear it kind of as you would anywhere but not like other places.). Inhad a full kitchen, king bed, spacious master bathroom, dining room table, comfortable sofa, and second half bathroom in the double suite (one above the standard room). I also had a pool view from the living room side and the two balcony spaces were off the bedroom and kitchen. Worth the room upgrade for the price for sure. Ocean views are available from the roof. I will definitely stay again.

Check-in was not smooth. I was charged over 600 pesos for commission with booking, and right on my confirmation it states that booking.com does NOT charge commission. The receptionist was not at fault as my bill was already printed up when I arrived. She had to call someone to dicuss this matter. I was finally not charged, but it was a time-consuming situation that shouldn't have been.

The location is pretty close to a lot of other businesses, the beach is just down the street

The location was excellent, it was clean and the staff was very helpful and informative.

Due to the age of the building the floors have a step down in different areas but we just marked the areas or made note of them.
