I stayed at Hotel Pueblito Vallarta for one week. It's a very clean hotel, with great facilities including free purified water and free coffee every day. The reception staff was very friendly, professional, attentive, and helpful. A special thank you to Ninfa with whom I had great conversations and who met my requests. I asked for a frying pan, and when I came back from the grocery store, the pan was already in my kitchen. The apartment was spacious, with good AC, with good water temperature and pressure, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Great value and good location!

The breakfast included was always fantastic, a mix of continental and traditional Mexican meant we got to enjoy a taste of local food each morning. The location was great, far enough away from the bar scene that we weren't kept awake, but close enough to all of the fun that we could walk a few minutes and be right in it. The rooftop pool was great for our toddler who loves to swim, we used it multiple times a day, well kept and clean. The best part of staying here though was the staff! Big shout out to Juan, who saved us a trip back to the hotel and dropped off something we had forgotten in our room, not many people would go out of their way to help in a situation like ours. Another person who helped greatly was Ninfa, who helped us with each taxi ride to ensure that we were charged fairly for our trip and with restaurant or street food recommendations. These two were just part of the amazing staff that helped make myself, my wife and two young children feel welcome. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing I can really take away as negative. We had a sqeaky fan in our room, but it wasn't anything that our kids white noise makers couldn't drown out.

Hotel Pueblito Vallarta is my new favourite home in PV! We chose to spend our final week here, recommended by friends and in search of a more relaxing and convenient hotel. One of the main criteria was the kitchenette, which can be essential after you've been travelling for a while. Hotel Pueblito provided the best of both location and convenience with a glorious rooftop pool complete with sun lounges and chairs and tables where you can relax by the pool. Hotel Pueblito is wonderfully convenient close to many great restaurants, bars and some useful stores such as Farmacia Guadalajara. A major asset to this hotel was its friendly and accommodating staff who made our stay extra special. Especially Beto, Franco and the lady that was around during the day (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) They were all so kind, and would always put in the time and effort to help guests and we were so happy staying here and miss it already. We loved our stay and you will, too.

Some of the artwork in the rooms could be updated for a modern look, I hope nobody thinks I am being rude, it just wasn't my taste. Maybe some bright colours even better featuring local artists that guests could purchase for home could be really nice.

Linens and bedding were great. Nice that there was a lift/elevator I liked the upstairs patio by the pool.

I know ice machines aren’t a thing in small hotels but…it would have been fab to get some ice water after a long and dry flight Bring your own coffee. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee There are no tea towels or washing up liquid if you want to use the kitchen (and clean up after yourself)

The room was clean and quiet, two bathroom. We did not use the kitchen. The pool was refreshing The Location was great. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants, little Stores, and don’t forget all those Taco and carnita booths. You can’t get closer to the real life there. The Breakfast was ok, fresh made and the service very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and the Staff are all accommodating. Real People

There is a construction site over looking the pool area, on the other side of the street. That was a bit of a bummer. But constructions were on each corner in the zona Romantica. And they will end eventually.

Loved the location, how close it was to walk to the malecon or other locations and the size of our room. It was perfect for what we wanted. Despite the construction going on around the building we could barely hear anything from our room. The kitchenette was what we needed, even had plates and silverware. The evening was a great time to hang out in the pool as the weather cooled off. Wouldn't mind coming back if we return to the area.

There were ants and various other bugs present, limited to certain areas and were minimal if drains were covered during the day.

We have been coming to this part of Puerto Vallarta for almost 20 years and were shockingly unaware of this nearby gem. The location was perfect for us. The staff were all exceptional. Specifically Ninfa and Sergio for their "above and beyond" service and friendliness. We appreciated the breakfast option although we did not opt in as we mostly had other plans for this shorter visit. The pool and pool deck was perfect for quiet afternoon sunning and did not get too crazy. The Master Suite was roomy and comfortable in size. We appreciated the kitchen amenities but again with our shorter visit, we didn't really take advantage of it. All in all we were very pleased!

I believe our late travel arrangements provided for limited room options and subjected us to a room adjacent to or above the road. I'm a light sleeper and the road noise woke me on numerous occasions. Staff DID offer to relocate us but with only a few days remaining, it wasn't worth the trouble. But now we can and have planned accordingly for our next visit.

Loved the layout of the hotel, the little touches like art, reading nooks, water coolers on every floor, pool table and of course the actual pool... Location was great for our needs... Felt like we were in an actual neighborhood as opposed to a tourist center... Easy walk to the beach/pier where we caught the water taxi to Yelapa the next morning...

Our room was quite humid... That's about it...

It’s is close to many restaurants and shops and a short walk to the beach. The rooms were big and very clean and the staff was always helpful.

The property does not look like the photos. It definitely needs a face lift and some of the furnishings in the rooms need updating. And if you get a room on the side of the street, you can most definitely hear everything outside.
