Phenomenal! Perfect retreat on the ocean, marine life, sunsets, the crash of waves! I was a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and safe having the family that owns it there! Very very nice people. They were putting me at the top with the best views! but she saw I was moving slow up the stairs(I have hip arthritis) and asked if I wanted ground floor! Views are just as spectacular! I love patio! Was perfect for quiet enjoyment of the bay! Has kitchenette so stop at the grocery before coming as not too many places around here.

Curtains didn't open all the way and sliding screens didn't lock. I like fresh air not air conditioners so was bitten lots by mosquitos while I slept, bring repellant.

Spectacular setting overlooking rocky shore, clear water, and Los Arcos. Huge room with kitchenette in my room. Big comfortable bed and a/c. Very clean. Delicious breakfast. Convenience store right beside. Saw all kinds of fish, dolphins, turtles, a Manta ray, and whales breaching...all from the terrace! Lot's of little sandy beaches and sunset restaurants to explore closeby. Lucy and Carlos have built a real modest, traditional gem.

It's a little outside of Puerto Vallarta, but for me that was a great contrast. ...manageable with good bus service and taxi.

the view was amazing. everything here was excellent! they even gave us snorkeling equipment to use. great sunset view, I would 10/10 recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, calm stay.

This place is magical. The view from the terrace is amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would love to come back here!

I would fix a few small things: added bedside lamps, a table on the terrace and some shelf in the shower.

It's our best stay in Mexico of all times! The location is awesome, it's a waterfront. There's a big terrace for peaceful sunsets and whale watching ( we have seen whales at least a dozen of times, big turtle and many colorful fish). The bus stops right near the hotel and in 5 minutes you are in Mismaloya or Boca beach. It's a very quiet and peaceful place. The room #2 is huge with high silling, comfortable beds with crispy cotton bedding, hot shower, strong WF, drinking water and well equipped kitchen. In December the room was cool, so we didn't use A!C. We were playing to stay a week but we liked it so much that we extend our stay for a second week. The owners are super nice and generous! We were lucky to stay on Christmas and they treated us very tasty pork ribs with temales. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

There are a restaurant onsite which is almost ready and will be opening soon. We are afraid that this will make a hotel so popular that one should book way ahead. Highly recommend!

What a treat. Incredible rooms. Spacious, wide panoramic views of the bay, massive balcony, a king and queen size bed (I think those are the sizes), well maintained property and friendly service from Lucy and staff, and one of the best vantage points for sunsets. Even spotted some turtles from the balcony! It's maybe a 15 minute bus ride from Zona Romantica in PV. This is cliff side, with the road and the Sierra Madres behind you. A quiet area with the mountains and all its little trails. 100% recommend staying at least one night here during your vacation. There is a bus stop right in front. There's a restaurant onsite as well, but I didn't eat there. There's an Oxxo just a few hundred feet away for your basic needs. Walk/hike to Mismaloya and even Boca de tomatlan (about 20-40 mins either direction depending on your fitness level), or just grab a bus for 10 pesos. Grateful to Lucy for allowing me to check in very early. There are six suites, and while I was there I didn't notice anyone else there besides staff. The only thing I would suggest is to provide a microwave in the room. I will come back here any time I go back to PV.

I concur with all who praised the location and the view. Staff is attentive, breakfasts are tasty and cooked with love. It is à la carte and very reasonably priced. excellent service- priceless!

The road can be noisy, but mitigated by the sound of the ocean. I always travel with earplugs anyway. The convenience of proximity of route that will take you further south or to town was important to me.

Pros: - Great value for your money - Bus is close and easy to get into town - close to great bike routes if you’re into that - Nancy and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. - View is INCREDIBLE

- Far away from town (great for longer stays, but if you’re only there for a week, I’d stay closer to town!) - Food is tough. There’s a convenience store nearby, but the closest restaurant is about a mile, and the area isn’t the more walkable. - Wifi connection in the room was very hit or miss.

It’s such a shame for the location, but this hotel is an absolute eyesore. The people who designed it should be ashamed of themselves.

This place was an unexpected gem on our visit to Mexico. It was a welcome oasis outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but hikes and water taxis were easily accessible by walk or bus and the owners were absolutely lovely. It's a work in progress and there weren't a ton of amenities, but it's a quick walk to the Oxxo and breakfast was great. Strongly recommended if you're looking for rest and relaxation off the beaten trail!
