Fantastic adults only hotel. Good atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff. Owner and designer is involved and likes to pamper the guests. Very nice rooms. Nice terraces to dine.

During rainy season is the sea in front of the hotel an bit muddy brown. The nearby village is a bit of a mess. However you can go there to take a boat to the nice nearby beaches

Had an amazing stay at Villa Lala with my wife. we were celebreating our 14th wedding annivasary . location is great, breathtaking . very quiet and cozy. room were big and bed was comfy. good facilties. Got checked in my 3 amazing receptionist Alba,Helen and Maria. who also gave us a tour of the other rooms in the hotel and helped in getting us taxi and resturent reservations. i would like to give a huge shout out to 2 serivce/bar/resturent girls Carrolina and Citali gave us amazing service went above and beyond . giving us a surprise cake on our wedding annivasary and decorting the our room. i would defintely recommend this hotel for couples for having a private time away from the city defintely will have great time and memories.

Beautifully appointed rooms and common area. Very comfortable beds (stayed in the garden room with retractable glass door). Stay were so nice Alba and Maria so attentive. The food was delicious and breakfast plentiful. Saw the owner walking around nice to see his hands on attention.

Not much close by (if you want night life youll have to go back to downtownPV). However, we did leave for dinner 1 night and was directed to go to Tony a small rooftop neighborhood place...Again did not disappoint. Cesar and Antonio excellent hospitality

Paradise on earth, with multiple private outdoor nooks and crannies, with to-die-for views!

Paradise on earth sometimes means less access to earth, but that can be a good thing for couples looking for a romantic interlude! It is a good 25 min. car ride from Puerto Vallarta, with nothing around but their own restaurant, but it is quite good! If you must leave, there is a regular city bus to take you into PV for 10 pesos, or they can arrange a cab. There is no Uber service from that location, but Uber will take you there.

This place is beautiful. The grounds are so beautifully landscaped and the natural setting is amazing. We stayed in the main house with a beautiful view but the other rooms we toured were stunning with much better views.

The only thing we wished was different was the ocean swimming. There were so many boats going back and forth to Boca that the water in the bay was a bit difficult to swim in- we tried to snorkel one day but the waters were murky and churned up. This of course was out of the hotel’s control. The food while tasty was not gourmet it was however good value.

The hotel is amazing and the staff is incredibly attentive. It was one of the stays that I will remember forever. The only sour spot is that they charged us for a broken glass that we told them about. It’s very petty to charge for a broken glass when you spend $$$$ for a suite.

The owner/architect, Kachi has designed both a stunningly gorgeous collection of buildings and their adjacent gardens. So much attention has gone into the facilities but even more importantly into the loving vibe. Every member on the staff is there to serve their guests. Susie, our waitress, surprised us every day. From picking different locations for our dinner table to designing a flower pedal heart on top of our bed. The menu is small but excellent. Felix, their chef is a veteran of first rate restaurants. Everything is very fresh and made from scratch. From the salads to the seafood to the cheesecake, all is beautifully prepared. There is good swimming directly from their dock. Kayaks are provided. Various size free weights are spread around. Well balanced and comfortable hammocks abound. Villa LaLa is a VERY special place.

Exceptional, friendly and attentive staff. Gorgeous grounds with deep care for ecology. Beautiful jungle and ocean views amidst a thoughtfully curated beach cove. Close to other small beaches reachable by water taxi or kayak. Perfect for those seeking a more quiet and intimate experience.

This place was truly wonderful. It’s truly an oasis, so peaceful and beautiful. We felt at times like we had the place to ourselves, never crowded. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Maria was in charge most of the time we were, she made sure we had everything we needed and did so with such genuine kindness. The food was excellent as were all the drinks we had. We stayed two nights at another resort and honestly missed the food and drink at Lala so much. We will absolutely be returning.

We stayed here in late June and there was a heat wave during our stay. Our room got a little warm in the evening which didn’t really bother us because the fan would turn up quite high. I hate to even put this as a complaint because it was so minor, but I figure it might upset someone if they really are bothered by being a little warm.

Amazing stay! The property is even nicer than in the photos! The food served was generally quite good, and the setting for the meals certainly can't be beat.

A bit far from the main town, though perfect for a getaway trip if this is what you're looking for!
