Friendliness. Everyone went out of their way to make sure you were having a pleasurable stay. The cabana helpers set up our cabana, kept the shade on us, our cups full of merriment (alcohol). The waiters kept the coffee coming, smiles for miles. Security is top notch. I had another stay at a different hotel here and security was scary. But not here. Everything was fantastic. Alejandra with concierge services was the best. She checked in everyday to see if there was anything we needed each day to make our stay as perfect as possible. My wife unfortunately left behind her watch, well Alejandra is boxing it up as I type this to get it out to us. If you visit stop by and say hello to her she'll make sure your stay is amazing. Thank you Alejandra.

I guess the only drawback was the road noise, up until midnight there is quite a bit of road noise from the highway outside. But other than that this place is amazing.

well…where to start. I cannot speak more highly about this hotel. The staff work overtime to make your stay the most enjoyable, relaxing and stress-free environment possible. The facilities are incredible. The beach bus beautiful, even if the waves are bad, the wave break they have makes it safe to swim in The restaurants are amazing. There are a series of staff commendations we want to make: * Vela Restaurant: the staff here were amazing * Esmeralda and Norma was a delight to be served by * Pool and Pool Bar: Jose and David were incredible, they made amazing mudslides! * Cocomar (lunch): We ate here at least 5 times on our trip! * Hugo, Benito, Omar, Rodrigo, Carlos, Yemie made this experience incredible! * This team did everything they could to make us, genuinely, feel like family! * Omar is an incredible server! He always had us covered! * When you want a great drink, ask for an Omar Special! * Carlos, the team lead, is an incredibly kind man! We were so blessed to get to know him! * Lobby bar: * Victor and Ricardo made the most incredible drinks! We definitely enjoyed the old fashioneds and the espresso martinis * La Luce: Some of the best Italian food! * Andre did an incredible job of taking great care of us! * Maxal: Hummarabi was a delight! Great server and loved to brink us lots of Mexican water! * israel ensured we had a great time out on the kayaks! * Rafael who works by the pool ensured we all had lots of fun! Whether thats organizing volleyball or crushing us at blackjack in the pool All in all, we had an amazing time and are excited to come back soon!

the space was beautiful and the staff were top notch! we felt special and seen from the moment we got there until the moment we left for the airport. the accommodations were perfect and the staff seemed to anticipate your need before you knew you needed it! we will definitely be returning!

the only thing I would suggest is that they have a smart tv. granted, we were rarely even in our room but at night when we were in bed it would have been nice to watch Netflix or to have a guide listing on the tv so we could pick something to watch. again, a VERY small detail and the only negative! keep up the great work!

All of the Hotel's facilities are very clean and I have always taken care of the quality of the water in the pool on a daily basis. The employees are very polite and cheerful (Mexicans are the best in Mexico). Good sized apartments, with a balcony and we even had a free upgrade. For those with children, there is an area of the beach protected by rocks that break the waves and this was very good.

The food at all meals was varied but always Mexican style, with lots of sauces, spices and peppers. As it is a "kids Friedly" hotel and I was traveling with children, I missed mashed potatoes, grilled chicken, minced meat, carrot puree. White rice, boiled potatoes, omelet (except for breakfast), I didn't see it and I stayed there for 6 days. As for room service, water and tea replacement, bathroom mat, etc., it was good for the first three days. In the other three, I had to run around to replace almost everything. I missed NETFLIX or similar, even paying

Not able to turn the room temperature down past a certain level (66 or 67). But room heated up during the day to 70s and was very humid.

My special thanks to the Supervisor Alejandro, who changed my room to suit my needs after one day. When I revisit, I will request for the same room. Location is outstanding to enjoy the views and the staff was excellent.

Some parts of the general property look tired and dated. They can be easily upgraded.

I loved the location - halfway between Puerto Vallarto and Boca De Tomatlan, the jumping off point for beaches further south. I loved the warm, friendly staff. I enjoyed the view - both poolside and of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was fun with so much to choose from. Can't beat a swim up bar.

One staff member at La Luce seemed somewhat desperate to get a good review for himself and the restaurant as well as to get a gratuity. The other 99% of staff were all awesome.

I thought that the buffet was great. We have young kids and they didn't care to go to the other restaurants so we found ourselves back at the buffet more than my husband or I wanted but it was okay bc the food was always delicious. The food variety was great and they did a great job of getting the food out right away (never empty spaces were food should be). The staff was also super friendly. Loved the entertainment and daily activities.

I felt like we weren't informed on the property when we first arrived...there was no map so we either had to ask where things (restaurants, general store, etc) were located. No one told us how the restaurants worked. All they said was that you did not need reservations but then you could make a reservation for the day of or you could wait 45 min to an hour to eat and that is just not doable with young children...so we found ourselves back at the buffet. The property overall is great but on the cusp of needing updates. The pool tiles were falling off and that was not only an eyesore but you would step on them when in the pool.

The food was excellent - breakfast, lunch and dinner We really enjoyed the kids crafts and activities, it was all very family friendly

We got a lot of mosquito bites and the gift shop sold bug repellant that didn't seem to work. There were 22 of us total and we all received many bug bites.

Everything about this holiday was exceptional: the food, staff, drinks, room, pools, ocean, beach, everything! Each of the staff members named below were absolutely exceptional! They made each aspect of the trip memorable. - Esmeralda (Vela) - Jose and David (pool bar) - Hugo, Benito, Omar, Rodrigo, Carlos, Yemie (Cocomar) - This was our favorite restaurant.
