Beautiful view of Banderas Bay from the rooftop swimming pool. Enjoyed visiting with the friendly staff. Our room was great.

It's somewhat remote from restaurants and the beach if you don't have your own car which we did. They did say they'll round trip transport you to Conchas Chinas beach or nearby if needed.

The location is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, the view from the top was amazing. A nice infinity pool and jacuzzi. The room was big and comfortable.

Walking to the center is a long way down the hill and along a busy street with barely any sidewalk. You'd have to take a taxi or an Uber. It is a 10 min drive though, so not so bad. It would have been nice to have a store or a coffee shop nearby to get a snack. There is no dining at the hotel, but there is a restaurant at the hotel next door.

It says there is a spa and restaurant in the hotel but there isn't.

It was a great little find in Puerto Vallarta. Nice small hotel located on the top of the hillside just outside of the centre of town. Fantastic views from our room and the roof top pool and hot tub. Room had a full kitchen which was great when you did not feel like travelling down the hill for a meal. Great customer service from the staff especially the manager Sergio.

Distance from restaurants was a challenge and cabs were necessary to get up and down extremely steep streets.

This hotel has an infinity pool and hot tub on its rooftop that overlooks the ocean, making for beautiful sunsets for a fraction of the cost of the nearby Grand Miramar hotel. It might take a long time to reach the top of the hill where the hotel is, but it's worth the view. Because there wasn't always someone at the front desk, I requested that a staff member be present at 3:30 am for early check-out (as I had a 6 am flight). The staff member went above and beyond, knocking on my door and offering to book a taxi for me. ¡Gracias por la hospitalidad!

Other than an elevator that didn't work, there were no major problems. There's no restaurant at or nearby the hotel, but I bought food from OXXO and ate in restaurants around Centro and Zona Romantica.

There was no breakfast or food onsite. There was coffee at the front desk, but it was cleared away completely about noon. It literally took over an hour of driving around, trying to find the place. It is on a hillside with multiple switchbacks and dead end roads. There were no signs prior to reaching the property that pointed in the area of the hotel, although there were signs to other hotels. I had asked for a handicapped-accessible room, and I received a message from the hotel saying this was ok, but the room was not designed for a handicapped person. No grab bars in the toilet or shower, tall "bar stools" and a cabaret table (not shown in any of the photos), and not one single comfortable seat in the room or on the balcony. I had a not-so-lovely street view, with plastic chairs that were uncomfortable. The many photos of the facility, including the ones that popped up with my room choice, showed comfortable seating areas and dining-level tables with standard chairs. I arrived late, unfortunately, and only the front desk clerk was on duty. I spoke to the manager (Sergio) the next day, and he was very helpful, even giving me the recliner from his office (he said he never uses it), and a table and a chair. (I had work to do and needed to use my laptop.) I suggest that someone from Booking.com have a conversation with Sergio and advertise the place appropriately. He is very nice and accommodating. Oh, yes, I was looking forward to using the pool, but it is only accessible by about eight stairs, and I can't do stairs. (I'm not in a wheelchair, but I am mobility impaired due to arthritic knees.) Also, the price he asked was about $50 more than the amount I reserved for. Also, there are no phones in the room to call the front desk. My room was as far from the elevator as you can get, and the walk from the elevator to the front desk is very long.

The view was fabulous from the room & balcony I was upgraded to. Large clean room & linens. Plenty of towels. Nice shower with a view. My room had a fully stocked kitchen with large refrigerator, which I did not use except to store leftovers.

Coffee maker provided, but no coffee or tea. Mattress was hard or not padded well. Floor was dusty and sandy. Would be nice to have a small bedside rug to wipe feet before getting into bed. The Room I originally booked (studio w/ sea view) says it has a "sea view", which is not true (well maybe you can see a sliver of water, but not clearly). Hotel slightly run down from grander days.

Breathtaking views Very quiet

Need to make sure you have everything you need for eating, drinking, etc before you get to the top of the mountain! No shade or privacy for room balconies.

Great place. Incredible manager!! Super nice people. Very private. No one bothers you. However, you have to be a little self sufficient. If you are looking to be waited on hand and foot, this is not the place for you. the manger is incredible and the views ar amazing. If you like walking, and getting in shape walking.... book this space. You will be in the best shape ever just walking the hill. I will absolutely stay there again and would recommend to anyone who enjoys their space and few people!!

Some of the amenities were not working. No fault of theirs... Earthquake took out some of th infrastructure. nothing you can see but hot tubs don't work

Mondavi is a little hidden gem, with an amazing location, great customer service for a reasonable price that is hard to find in PV. Special props to Caesar who provided highly personalized service and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. And did I already say the location and the views are amazing? Overall, staying at Mondavi made our first PV visit truly one for the memories. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are also well maintained and weren't crowded at all.

Not much to complain, but some of the hotel and room facilities might do better with updating.
