This is an extraordinary resort! The beach is expansive, very well maintained and PRIVATE! There is no public access to this beach. There are several restaurants on site, offering a terrific choice of cuisines. The service is exemplary! ALL resort staff are welcoming, kind and very respectful.

The trip started off terrible, we were late for our flight then our passports expired the week prior so we had to go to Washington to get a same day passport. We were there for our scheduled appointment and they checked us in late so we had to wait another day to get the passports. Changed our flight two times which of course costed extra money and we missed a couple days there at the Hyatt, but still paid for the suite. My husband's phone went belly up and we had to get another one, then he lost it somewhere between Hertz car rental and the airport coming home. We had so many mishaps, it sure was an adventure. I even spilled a whole bottle of water in my lap just before boarding the plane home. The few days we spent there were wonderful! Your staff was the best, they were all very helpful. Your staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we stepped into the lobby and always offered to show us around, they walked us to our room and the restaurants and even told us how to get to the flea markets. Very friendly and there was always someone available to answer any questions. Food was very good, we mostly ate at the buffet. We did have a steak dinner at the fancy restaurant and one of the staff took a picture of us on my husband's phone (that he lost) sad cause we didn't get any other pictures of us there. The beach was beautiful! Got to watch a beach wedding and listen to their music one night from our balcony while sitting in the jacuzzi tub, the wedding was entertaining.

The property is ideally situated with extraordinary views in all directions. I loved the facilities and the layout of the hotel. We enjoyed most our time in the pool and going to a different restaurant every night. It was especially fun to get to watch the pelicans diving in the shallow water off the shore. The staff was extremely responsive and worked hard to make sure our every need was met.

I had a hard time finding a drink I liked. I am generally pretty easy to please with a strawberry daquiri or pina colada, but even these tried and true drinks were hard to drink. None of the fruit drinks had fresh fruit. If you like strong and plentiful drinks then you are set, but if you like quality cocktails this is not the place for you.

The dinner at the Hibachi was outstanding. Loved the food and service. The Italian restaurant was good and service was excellent. Lastly, Blaze was good but not what I was expecting. The service again was outstanding, the food was a little disappointing. Either way I would recommend this to anyone I discussed this resort with!!!!

Elevators in the non vip location were horrible. I know there is construction, but to wait 10 minutes for an elevator and then not to be able to enter because there are too many people who what to get on the elevator and wait another 10 minutes for another elevator, is not acceptable for a high end hotel/resort.

Amazing beach and fabulous location. Clean and gorgeous.

We asked for a quiet room and they put us directly in front of the wedding events, which tortured us with disco music for 5 nights. They did have quieter rooms but refused to move us.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, lunch, room service (amazing ceviche by the pool). Getting a cab to downtown was really easy and affordable. It was nice considering it was family friendly. I don’t think it was as loud and obnoxious as other family friendly resorts. There were a few areas where you could sit to escape larger crowds of people. The turtle sanctuary was really fun to see as well. We had an issue with a water leak in our first room, and they quickly moved us to a new room.

Our air conditioner in both rooms wasn’t very strong. It could have been from construction going on in the building. We were staying here because of a wedding and had events to attend, so we didn’t feel like dealing with another room switch. While the room was clean, the exterior side of the windows could have been cleaner.

Everything was perfect! The room was really nice and comfortable, several pools, wonderful beach, high quality food (different international cuisine restaurants and nice buffet), and all the staff, including entertainment team, was extremely nice :) A real all inclusive, where you feel like you are at paradise, 100% recommended!

Amazing grounds with several pools and long stretch of beach. The room was large, spotless, and facilities worked well. Food at restaurants were good. It wasn’t too crowded when we went so there was no overcrowding at beach chairs at pools.

There were a few food misses. Had diarrhea after one room service (probably the pico de gallo) but otherwise everything was clean and fresh. Some of the food at the club tower was very stale. There was two weddings the first Saturday night, which meant music and noise was very loud until 11-11:30pm

Location, privacy, view, friendly and helpful staff. The bar tenders Miguel and Daniel at the VIP tower lobby were extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.

The air conditioning had only 2 modes: ON and very cold, or OFF and therefore humid; no other setting worked and the staff could not reprogram it. The minibar, included, alcoholic beverages almost nonexistant and you had to call for refilling; the only choices were room service or going to the bar in the lobby. For an all inclusive VIP Club package, the selection off drinks was poor and bottom shelf; for better quality and selection you have to pay a high price extra. The taxy prices set by concierge are disputed by the drivers once in the car. The Italian restaurant Melanzane was rightfully criticized by all reviews and should be totally overhauled regarding the menu and service.

I loved this hotel. The beds were so comfortable and our view from our balcony was stunning. We stayed in the club tower which I recommend. I never got hassled about time shares which I saw some people mentioned in their review. The staff was so awesome and were so attentive. They also stocked our mini bar every day for free and there was this room with food for the tower guests that was a hidden gem! Delish! Our Hotub on our balcony wasn’t getting hot but we called the front desk and they came up and fixed it right away. The beach was spectacular and the water was so clear. I cannot say enough and if you want to do all inclusive for a few days, come here. Also it’s a very short uber ride to the romantic zone where we did boat day trips and explored downtown.
