only negative is Taxi/Shuttle. Was not confirmed on pick up, no problem just took a reg taxi. On departure though, did reserve and confirm one. Got downstairs 10m early, checked with the girl at counter and said taxi on the way. After checking again multiple times and waiting 25m! My ride finally arrived. It was 100% that one girl at the counter, one can only hear 'o desculpa' so many times from them forgetting such a vital function. I could have missed my flight. The driver even showed me his listing and how he was just contacted 5m prior. Besides that a terrific stay.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had an experience with protests in the Zocalo - very large protests and we were advised by the staff ahead of time, given advice on how to manage the crowds, helped to leave the hotel (the numbers of protesters were really high, the streets were packed) we were escorted several blocks to waiting taxis. The staff really went above and beyond to keep us safe and manage our trip well.

We found the rooftop terrace to be on the pricey side. The menu for dinner was a four course, expensive meal. However there was a cafe on the main lobby floor where we could get soup, sandwich, chips, beer, wine all complimentary and it was a super nice bonus! Once in the for evening we often found ourselves there having a night cap and meeting other guests. Really a nice perk.

The location is the best! This area has so much to offer - so many historic sites, tours, restaurants, shopping and it's a very safe to walk around. The breakfast in the restaurant on the 6th floor was really nice. You have your choice of the buffet or you can order a la carte and we did both. The staff, especially Estaban, are extremely friendly. The 24 hour cafe on the main floor of the hotel was also a pleasant surprise! This was included in our stay at no extra charge. They had a variety of drinks (including beer), sandwiches, salads, soups, and snacks. It was nice to have fridge with cold bottles of water on our room level as well.

Very hospitable and helpful staff all around. They were eager to help and provided useful suggestions on sight-seeing trips. Loved the daily breakfast at their rooftop restaurant. Premises are well-maintained and regularly cleaned. The location is absolutely fantastic, it's right by the Zocalo and takes about 20-30 minutes to the airport with moderate traffic. The 24-hour cafe is mostly free and covers most basic needs but could do with more menu options.

Felt it was a bit expensive, given that the room was quite basic. We've stayed at swankier locations that were less expensive. Not many vegetarian dishes in their rooftop restaurant at other times of the day but breakfast has plenty of vegetarian options.

I had a wonderful experience at this property during my aunt's birthday, and it was our first trip to Mexico City. Eduardo- Front Desk, Antonio- Bellman, Licely-Concierge, Nancy-GM, and the rest of the team made our stay truly special. The room was immaculate; I highly recommend the junior suite with a cathedral view, which offered excellent amenities. It was comfortable to have the space to see the sunrise from the room and see the city vibes from our room window. The inclusion of Cafe Central was a nice touch, providing a quick snack and a comfortable seating area after a long day. The free morning tour at 9 AM was a fantastic way to learn about the city's history. Breakfast on the rooftop was delightful, offering a beautiful view of the Zocalo. We particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs with toast and the freshly squeezed orange juice. We will return to this property for our next visit to this enchanting city! Thank you all!

We really enjoyed the food, decor, accommodations, and the location. The view from the breakfast rooftop deck was amazing! The breakfast was delicious, there was a wide variety, and you can also order a la carte as well. Throughout the day, they have unlimited snack and sandwiches in their restaurant, included in the price. The service from the waitstaff, front desk, and bellman was phenomenal. Overall, it was a truly pleasant experience. The location definitely gives you a pulse of the city, it is different everyday in the most beautiful way.

They did everything they could to make my family's experience wonderful! It can be difficult to get a taxi in that area, but they definitely tried their best to get us one.

The hotel boasts a spectacular location right on the Zócalo, offering a fantastic view of the Cathedral. Key attractions such as the Templo Mayor, Torre Latinoamericana, Casa de los Azulejos, Palacio Nacional, and Palacio Bellas Artes are all within walking distance. As solo female travelers, we always felt safe in the hotel’s surroundings. The room was small but functional and clean—perfect for a city trip. The breakfast was delicious and featured authentic local dishes. An excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the heart of the city!

Our entire experience from first walking into the lobby to checking out six days later was superior--far exceeding expectations. This may have been one of my favorite hotels in the WORLD. All the staff was kind, friendly and attentive (from the bellmen, reception desk, restaurant, and room cleaners. The room decor was sophisticated and comforting. We really like the interior design. We had a junior suite with Zocalo view so our room was a little bigger than the standard room, but it was well worth the price for a six night stay. Having the two comfortable leather chairs and the small table with three chairs was nice. We were constantly looking out at the Zocalo and all the craziness going on across the street. It was a bit noisy with drumming and horn noises, but it was over by 10 pm. I appreciated the small fridge in the room as well. The double sink in the bathroom was also nice. The complimentary breakfast was great and you can't beat the view from up there. We also liked to free food options in the back of the lobby. We also took advantage of the city tour that was organized for us.

Not much, but....not having an English-language (or USA) news station on he TV was disappointing. Also the TVs were not Smart TVs so we could not access YouTube to watch USA news. There could have been a little more light at the bathroom sink to shave.

Perfect location (heart of the historic center. Great restaurant ( breakfast included, lunch and dinner Prix Fix and upscale). Staff were friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Anything you want to see in regards to historical tours can be arranged through the concierge. Speaking of which, the concierge who assisted me, Vianney, was the most amazing and caring person I have ever had in this capacity. She was beyond just helpful, she made me feel like we were great friends.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Fact is, I would have loved to have stayed longer.

Almost nothing. We stayed in a junior suite (415) that looked out over the busy Zocalo, gorgeous and interesting day and night. The bed was comfortable, room spacious, and bathroom roomy. The breakfast in the rooftop cafe with the same view was excellent with a wide selection of prepared and ready to order dishes. In addition the lobby housed a 24 hour cafe that had food and snacks that were Free to guests. Incredible!

I would not be raving as much if we didn’t have that room view but the roof top cafe makes up for it.
