The breakfast buffet was improved since the last time I visited, as well as the rooftop bar and the attention. The hotel is located at a superb distance from all the good things in CDMX. And the staff was super dedicated and kind. I was very happy to see that Central Hotels is giving this hotel I love so much a big makeover. The room felt brand new and modern.

Since the building is still under improvements, there were some noise and suspended particles in the front desk area. Not having an elevator to go to the 7th floor (restaurant) was a little exhausting. And the last day of our stay, the hotel ran out of water. The noise form all the bars and restaurants at night is an issue if you want to leave the windows open if you're not using the A/C, but this is a normal thing being so near all the excitement at the 5 de Mayo.

Great location and staff. Everyone was really helpful and warm and they even let me check-in much earlier. The place is right in the old city center so I loved it. You also have a choice of breakfast at two different restaurants. Hotel Canada is a great choice for solo travelers and the price and location and what you get are really good.

The bathroom flooded after each showering and it took a while for it to dry. There should be something on the floor to keep it from flooding the entire bathroom. Also the room was very noisy, the street was really alive in the evening so it was sometimes hard to fall asleep.

Location was excellent , breakfast was good but the same everyday. Staff was friendly . Room was small. Only one small elevator. It was a plus that they offer snacks and drinks 24 hrs for free. Bed was comfortable , water pressure was good .

We loved the location! Service staff were also very professional and helpful and guided us throughout our stay.

The room is a bit small, but comfortable. Also, the restroom would let out a really bad smell from the sink/faucet area. We think it might have had something to do with the pipes, but the smell was horrible. However, it didn’t ruin our stay.

I used a debit card wile making my reservation and I was charged a hold prior my arrival and to get the money back I need to always reach my bank and takes couple days to see money in my balance back, first time they do this to me as I usually stayed here when come to MX.Booking states that we wont be charged and that we will pay to the property.

Rooms were clean and nicely furnished

The lift was working and evidently hadn’t been for a while , judging by the reviews. The restaurant was on the 7th floor so getting up there via the stairs was a challenge! We hadn’t been warned before we arrived either so it was a good job we didn’t have health issues that would have caused a problem with all the stairs to the rooms.

Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, central location, easy to find, very clean. Good wifi signal even so could use it from the restaurant across the street. Top floor had a nice sunrise view. Fine place to crash after a long day out.

Thin walls and single layer windows, ear plugs are a must here. Breakfast hall has only about 12 tables, so peak times might have to wait to be seated. Breakfast menu somewhat very basic. On the last night a strong chemical smell traveled through the ventilation (some sort of paint?) So had to keep the bathroom door shut and window open.

At the time of writing, the hotel is undergoing renovation and therefore a little messy. The result of the renovation is beautiful and renovated rooms appear as sparkling new. The hotel has a nice little restaurant with a view of the city and where some dishes are even free. The staff is very helpful and always in a good mood

The service we received from the front desk, to the doorman, to the cafeteria was excellent. Rooms were clean. The building was well-kept.

The bed was not comfortable. Room was small. Shower was tiny.

Brilliant location. Friendly staff. Great price. Nice hot breakfast cooked to order.

Breakfast room on 7th floor but elevator only goes to 6th floor, so no good for wheelchairs, physically challenged etc. Bathroom a little shabby and my room was very cold and no way to regulate the temperature but very warm blanket in the closet.
