Ideal location, close walk to the beach and main streets. Really enjoyed the rooftop pool and their bartenders were amazing. Breakfast was delish, however, there were limited options and anything outside of it would be an added cost. Coffee was very good.

The front desk was not as friendly as the rest of the hotel staff. I dealt with various people over 4 days and all seemed overwhelmed, unfriendly and not as happy to help. Check in took quite a bit and the are to wait was a bit small. We received the wrong date on our breakfast voucher (for 2 days before we arrived) and I had to fight to receive a new one even though it was their mistake.

Fantastic staff! The entire crew from porter, front desk, bartender through manager were incredibly friendly, kind, and authentic. Each and every one went above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable. We loved our room and the rooftop pool area. It was all sparkling clean. There were two issues that were completely beyond their control which future guests should know about. There was live music close by and for some guests, that's probably a plus, but it impacted my sleep. The staff took care of that by offering us a quiet room for our next nights sleep. The other issue was that the Sayulita ATM's ran out of cash during a festival. The manager arranged for us to be driven to the only bank in town so that we could get cash. They will take care of you at Sayulinda!

If we'd been told about the potential for loud music.

Our stay was excellent! Although we were bummed that the pool was unavailable upon our arrival, the staff and the hospitality definitely made up for it. Pedro, Jardi, Fabi, and the rest of the staff made us feel like family. Ultimately, we were happy that we stayed. The breakfast options are great! We had chilaquiles every morning and they are definitely the best I've had in Sayulita! Made to order and absolutely delicious. The hotel is beautiful! Rooftop with amazing beach views, and it's in the middle of town with everything close by. We can't wait to come back to Sayulinda Hotel!

The only negative is that the pool was not available. We were called about the issue right as we were boarding our flight. We were so bummed. The purpose of our trip was to celebrate my birthday, and I was really looking forward to enjoying that rooftop to the fullest. Especially, since we were not bringing our little ones along. So arriving and finding out that the pool wasn't available for the next few weeks really sucked. I understand things happen and it was out of their and our control. Doesn't take away from us being bummed about it, although we still did enjoy our vacay... but that pool would have been the cherry on top!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved Luna, the hotel kitten. Free breakfast is a nice perk, but I did not love the food selection and the toast was very hard and stale.

The reviews are accurate, it is noisy into the early hours of the night. You gotta understand that you are in the heart of Sayulita though, and the ear plugs will help a lot.

Located right in the middle of everything you absolutely need. You really don’t need a golf cart to get around. You’re a 3-4 minute walk to the beach, seconds from restaurants and night life.

I personally don’t mind the nightlife noise from the other restaurants and bars. If you like absolute silence at night when sleeping then you might not like it. The hotel is nice enough to provide ear plugs so that’s a plus.

Can’t beat the location if you want to be in town. I would just walk the kids from the beach to the beach and back. Supermarket in the corner. Cart rental across the street. Easy to try all the different food spots. Pool was super nice. Low season so it almost felt like a private pool

Breakfast very average.

The ambience, the staff was very nice and always provided areas to visit around town. It was very clean and the staff made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The bartenders and servers in the rooftop bar were amazing as well. So kind and took great care of us. Definitely a place to stay when in sayulita.

Was a little noisy at night but wasn’t too bad.

Beach and downtown proximity, rooftop bar and pool, general aesthetic, friendly staff

At night it was a bit loud due to a nearby karaoke bar, but not a big problem for us

The rooms, rooftop, cleanliness, proximity and most importantly the service.

The burger bar downstairs seems like a sad dead resturaunt. Idk if it’s connected to the hotel but someone needs to do something more with that space.
