The price was very enticing, and overall, the value was incredible. The neighborhood was really nice, and although uphill from town, a very quick and easy walk. The view from the ocean view king suite was very nice. The huge balcony was also appreciated. The grounds were quiet and fairly private, and overall, it was a nice experience.

While most of it was great, the room felt dirty. The floors and the bathroom were very dirty. This wasn't a huge issue, but it was slightly annoying. The beds were decent but quite hard. For someone on a budget it was a great experience, but not luxurious to say the least.

House was amazing! Private pool and terrace overlooking Sayulita! Beautiful

On day 3 someone booked a suite close to us and started using our “private pool” ( there were only 2 lounge chairs- so obviously were ours - just outside our front door) they sat on our towels and used our “private pool” which was an invasion of our privacy as far as I am concerned. Private pool means “ private” not for others to use . I went to the management and they said the other apartment is able to use it as well. The pool was right outside my front door so I was not comfortable in my own space that I paid for - to me private pool means for us only. This was not the case and I disliked and felt very uncomfortable when people used my “private” pool chairs and towels. Also staff was not friendly at all.

The hotel was on a small hill, a couple of blocks from the Sayulita Center. lt gave us quiet and yet we were close to going down to the vibrant Sayulita center whenever we wanted to. The bonus in being at this hotel gave us a kitchen and an extensive patio to see the sea in the distance and to watch the thunder and lightning show in the evening. The hotel has a beautiful pool with the ocean breeze blowing into the area. Made it comfortable to be out in the heat and humidity at this time of the year...September. Under the umbrellas one could have shelter from the direct sunlight if one needed it. Antonio, who welcomed us to the hotel when we first arrived is a wonderful positive man who made sure we were being taken care of. lt was a wonderful stay at the Villa Vista Suites and gave us a home base to go out and explore the colorful town of Sayulita.

No bad comments as we were very appreciative in being in such a convenient location, 5 minutes from the Sayulita central plaza.

The views from the room and pool were beautiful. That large balcony had a table to eat at and a separate area with a sofa seat. The kitchen and living room area also had a sofa seat and a table. The location was great for us. It is on a small steep cobblestone road. There was a set of steps a block away that led right into the heart of town. Antonio and the entire staff did a great job cleaning and maintaining the property. We loved the pool around sunset.

The bed was harder than we like. It would be a nice touch to have a water garrafon in the room.

We loved the view from our balcony. The pool was awesome. The fact that we had a/c, bottled water was great. Great location- close to main square and restaurants. The walk to and from was good exercise!

Because we speak almost no Spanish, it was sometimes difficult to communicate with hotel staff. We were usually able to resolve any issues. We were a bit surprised with the centipedes running across the floor and on the bathroom wall. We managed to adapt and sweep them away.

This is a two star hotel, so do not expect it to be like a Marriott in the US. That said, it was clean and spacious, fantastic location, had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and we felt quite safe staying here. It's up the hill from the main part of Sayulita so you can walk to beach/restaurants/whatever in 2-5 minutes, but you are away from the partying and noise at night.

Facilities could use some updating, the maid cleaned our room even when we had the do not disturb sign on, front door didn't work well, so we had to use the back door most of the time. Again, no serious problems and quite nice for a two star hotel.

Beautiful accommodation, quiet and clean. It lies up on a little hill with stunning views of the sea. There is a common terrace and kitchen to prepare food with a fridge and all needed utensils (microwave, pans, etc). The area is safe and very close to the center. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will gladly come again! :-)

It’s a really short walk into the centre of town but you are really set back from the noise and bustle. The pool is great and we liked the communal areas and kitchen. Great view from the balcony. Reasonable rate.

We stayed in Jan so the nights were cool.no cover on the bed and after a few days the drinking water supply ran out and wasn’t replaced.

This is a basic hotel with a beautiful, inner city location at an affordable last minute rate. The staff were helpful & kind, and only accessible during specified hours. The view was gorgeous, the town was noisy, the bed was comfy, the amenities were sparse. I would absolutely stay here again.

Huge balcony with view of the ocean. Really clean and authentic Mexican design with tiled floors. Staff were nice and the room was a great natural temperature. Nice living room/kitchen area.

The pool is tiny. The oven didn't seem to have gas. Wasn't really an issue as I didn't want to do a lot of cooking and there was a microwave that worked.
