I loved the feel of the older hotel—light, bright, soothing colors in the rooms. The balcony was great with a hammock and a table and chairs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The common lounge area was spacious with lots of places to sit, work on my laptop, or just hang out. It is in a good location near the beach, restaurants, and stores, although it can get very crowded with tourists.

It was unpreventable due to the location, but it was very noisy from parties into the late hours on the beach or in bars on the streets close by.

A lovely throwback to simpler times, this historic landmark is a cool, old-fashioned inn literally a few steps from Sayulita beach and just about anywhere you might want to go in this hopping town. Our room on the fourth floor had a porch offering a bird’s eye view of the bustling street and even the surf over the tops of the coconut trees. Ceiling fans and a very effective a/c weren’t even needed. Jessica and her team go all out to make it feel like a home away from home.

This is the place where appreciating authentic surroundings over fancy furnishings will mean you will find a lot to love. Be ready to get out there and make the most of being so close to great food, sidewalk dining, and nighttime entertainment.

This Original Hotel of over 40yrs old is the most charming, welcoming place I've had the pleasure of visiting. The worker's are uber nice and more than accommodating, I preferred no daily services from housekeeping; they still showed up during my stay and serviced my room; thank you ladies! I have nothing but adoration for Sayulita Central Hotel. I will most definitely return and stay here. It is centrally located in Downtown Sayulita and close to everywhere you may want explore. Great location! Right in the centre of town, everything is a few steps away. Our room was great, everyone at the hotel was amazing and helpful and the common room was a great place to hang out.

The coworking space wasn't what I expected. There were a few group tables with power, the wifi was good and a big comfy couch, but only 1 table at a good height for typing on a laptop.

The owner was very welcoming and commendating to my family, she was very lovely to share with us the story of her hotel, the first hotel build in Sayulita. Great location and I will definitely Recommend this place to all my friends and family

Location and very charming. The staff are very nice.

The facade hides the fact that this is a cool, quirky spot right in the heart of Sayulita centro. I had a recent knee injury, and the owner and staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We will definitely stay again.

A smallish thing, but there were bedroom windows we couldn’t cover. Not that anyone wants to see two middle-aged people frolicking, but they could if they wanted to!

Very helpfull and friendly staff and the location is just brilliant. Safe and walkable area. Great restaurants nearby.

I would 100000% recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to sayulita!! We had room 13 which is the very top. Since you are in the heart of sayulita, we expected to hear some music and noise From surrounding bars/rest so I brought ear plugs just in case but we had the fan going & that helped block the sound a lot!! The view & patio were an amazing addition to an already amazing stay!

The staff was friendly and incredible helpful. Eduardo the manager was wonderful and very informative and just an all round great person.:) The location was perfect! restaurants, shops and bars all around, and the beach is a a few steps down the road. I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks in 3 different rooms. If you have the chance to book the penthouse suite, do it! Great ocean view, private patio with hammock and sitting area and a refrigerator. Really nice.

Definitely bring earplugs, and ask for a floor fan to add white noise to muffle the noisy street, especially on the weekends..
