Almost everything was very good BUT the elevator wasn’t working for the whole 3 weeks that I was there . Constant power outages meant inconsistent wi- fi service . The day beds outside were being washed ( covers ) and there was no replacement for them for 4 days . I’d suggest sewing a second set of covers for the 4 day beds outside , so that guests have somewhere to sit . ALL things considered I enjoyed my stay very much .

Best Hostel in Sayulita – A Hidden Gem! I can’t say enough good things about Casa Pepe! I originally booked for just one week and ended up extending three times—I just couldn’t leave. The female dorm beds are amazing: you get a bigger-than-usual mattress tucked into a stylish concrete cabin with a curtain, which gives you so much privacy and comfort. It’s easily the best dorm setup I’ve ever experienced. Casa Pepe also has a free coworking space for guests, which was perfect for getting some work done. The upper deck has a gorgeous view and the pool is a great spot to cool off and relax. If you book the breakfast, it’s absolutely delicious and definitely worth it. The vibe here is so warm and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. There are also lots of fun activities—like making fresh guacamole or learning to craft the perfect mojito. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the main beach and right near the center of Sayulita, but still peaceful and quiet at night. I’ll 100% be coming back to Casa Pepe. It’s more than a hostel—it’s a little sanctuary in paradise.

This hostel is the 5 star Ritz Carlton of hostels at an incredibly low price. The location is close to everything. The staff became like a family away from home by the end of my 3 week stay. The bed was so comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and cold and provided great ventilation. The entire place was always clean. The rooftop pool with an amazing view was like a pool at a resort. The included breakfast was amazing, it was a full restaurant breakfast. The waitstaff at breakfast were incredibly attentive. The front desk staff were so welcoming and always willing to help. Even the guests in the room with me were much more considerate than those at other hostels ( I think because of the psychological effect of the behavior agreement that needs to be signed before a stay).

Honestly nothing

We stayed at Casa Pepe in Sayulita for over a week as a couple(May and Valeria), and we had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Kevin, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful — he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a better room simply because it was available. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. A special shoutout to kat and Victor from the surf school — they were fantastic teachers and super friendly, making our time in Sayulita even more memorable. We highly recommend Casa Pepe to anyone visiting Sayulita. The vibe, the people, and the service were top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The pool was great and lovely area to lie out Staff were friendly and bar was really nice Loved the female dorm double beds, great storage for bags and items Clean overall Free filtered water Yoga was great when it was on and the yoga space was lovely

-Breakfast could be improved, literally slice of toast or basic quesadilla -The dorm smelt like damp constantly, probably because everyone is hanging their wet clothes in the dark room -Could do with hooks in the female bathroom so you don't have to leave your towel and clothes on the ground when showering -Kitchen lacked basics, no cups, microwave didn't work etc , no kettle- I just ended up eating out everyday - Shower broken at pool so a bit unhygienic when everyone was going into pool sandy/suncream etc

-location close to the beach and a lot of surrounding restaurants and bars -big room space and clean bathroom -comfortable bed, AC works well, smart tv and fridge was a great add ons plus the small balcony -the activities they offer for the guests and non-guests such as power hour (happy hour), karaoke night, morning yoga and a lot more -staff and volunteers are nice and accomodating. shoutout to Adrianna and Cristhian! -rooftop bar was nice -free bfast and coffee

-unsmooth checkin in and asking me about my payment that obviously they resolved due to some system glitch on their part -pool was dated -picture of the room that we booked (superior king room) doesn’t match that room that they gave us. I double checked it with them but they said it was the right room and we didn’t just mind it as long as the AC is working and a fridge is existing

The options for breakfast were fantastic, and the coffee was delicious. The rooftop pool was a treat as swimming is really not an option in the high surf. Casa pepe was easy to get to, and close to all amenities.

I was in an 8 bed dorm,on spring break, so my female roommates were a bit messy, and with the wet clothes and high humidity the room tended to be musty...I suggest leaving the heat exchanger on all day to reduce the odors, and provide a broom and pan so the guests can sweep the sand regularly.

Originally I booked two nights, but extended to four nights. I’d met many other travellers staying at other hostels and for amenities/comfort, Casa Pepe was by far the best. Super comfy beds, nice rooftop terrace, pool, and great breakfast. I could rest, but still meet other travellers without having to play beer pong. The staff were so helpful, especially Alex & Frida - they were so kind and went the extra mile to help me with my reservation etc.

My only complaint is the dorm washrooms - one of our toilets had no seat, and though the trash was emptied regularly, it smelled really bad…the shower was also inconsistent - either cold or scalding hot, no in between and you never knew which you would get.

Loved the location and general vibe of the hostel. The staff were amazing and the food was good for the price. Very central and not too loud but close enough to the party if that's what you want, otherwise it's pretty chilled. I stayed for 12 nights and would stay again! Pool area was very nice. Great big, comfortable beds!

The kitchen needs more facilities, not really possible to cook with what's there. The girls dorm bathroom needs a deep clean!

Totally silent after 23:00. Dorm beds are incredibly comfortable, with the curtains you feel like in your own room, able to charge 3 device inside your bed, with light and additional locker in bed. Have never slept so good in a hostel. Huge locker in room for big backpacks. Private bathroom in dorm. Everyone super respectful Breakfast was delicious but could be more. All installations super nice. Staff really friendly. Best location. Away from the noise of the center but still close enough to walk back and forth during the day.
