Everything was beautiful. The attention to small details was obvious. Beautiful local bath products, handmade furniture, the lounge areas and pool were gorgeous. The TV room/library was incredible. The staff were super helpful. I loved this place so much. And the location is exceptional- a 2 minute walk from a very quiet beach with a clean river running parallel to it. Perfect for people who want a luxury stay close to beautiful nature where there are very few people on the beach. Hundreds or birds and spectacular sun rises were a bonus.

The restaurant is very expensive and the menu offers very little for vegans and vegetarians. I am vegan and the food I had was bland and very expensive. My son ate fish and steak there and found it mediocre and over priced. There are a couple of small Mexican restaurants on the beach so we ate there a few times and found that to be a good value for the money. We also paid $300 pesos for taxis a few times to go to restaurants in town for some variety. If they could up the quality of food and options on the menu and lower the prices, I would have only good things to say about this hotel.

We stayed here right before Christmas as a group of 3. Absolutely loved it. The rooms are super comfortable, big beds with the perfect pillows. Big bathroom with walk-in showers. Air con, lovely toiletries, bottles of water every day plus they fill up your water bottles at the bar so we didn't have to buy any bottled water the whole time we were there. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper as there are birds, rooster etc that make noises at night. Great cocktails, very delicious and inventive food. It's a bit pricier but the quality of the food is amazing and well worth the money. We mixed it up with having meals at the few other more basic places around. Lovely pool (no chlorine), sun loungers were not busy and we got a spot every day. The staff are great, all super friendly and helpful. The beach is 2 mins walk away and there are a few places for lunch and early dinner. There isn't much else around which we loved, but if you want nightlife and loads of restaurants, this is not the place. Playa Bocana is very quiet...the beach is long and pretty empty, loads of birds, waves etc.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. All the hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful, particularly the waiters in the restaurant. The food was very good and has a wide range of choices available on the menu. The bathroom is spacious with good quality free toiletries. There was also a generous amount of towels. There was plenty of nice comfortable shaded sitting / sunbathing areas around the swimming pool. The roof top gin bar with a view of the pool was a nice pleasant area to have a drink in the evening.

The hotel position is a bit isolated with limited other restaurants or walks available. Although, Taxis are reasonably cheap and reliable that enables one to explore the region. (There was a lot of debris on the nearby beach which made it difficult to access. I understand that it is cleared after the ‘rainy season ‘ has finished.)

I like that there are no TVs in the rooms, and enjoyed using the common TV room/library. The saline pool (which I like much better than chlorine!) was clean and nice, with comfortable cabanas and good stock of towels. The rooftop bar is pleasant, with a great view. I like the bar's opinionated take on drinks (which were delicious). The staff was friendly and helpful and the host who helps us seems to love working there.

Not really a criticism of the hotel, but the restaurant's food was hit or miss. The food was nicely presented and well executed, but flavor was missing in most of what I ate.

This is by far the most exceptional hotel in the Huatulco area. I have stayed here multiple times, over 3 years now, and it is consistently clean, with the same staff who are courteous, professional, and seem to work very well together as a team. It is a testament to exceptional management when you see this kind of staff retention.

The roosters are a little loud in the morning, but I will take that over waking up to traffic or an alarm clock any day.

Lovely Hotel just near the Bocana beach. From most rooms you can see the sea and hear it as well which we liked. Nicely designed and furnished we also enjoyed the swimming pool. Our room was well equipped, spacious and comfortable in every way. Next time we will stay longer. We had a car and that made it very easy to go around and to go in town. The restaurant looks and feels very nice, we enjoyed a nice drink in the afternoon there and the staff all over the hotel was great and helpful.

Not much to NOT like. The pillow choice in the room could have been more diversified, but again, I didn't ask them if they had other options and they might. Even though the food in the restaurant is fresh and done with love, we didn't really like the food combination on the Menu, but that is a question of taste I suppose as many other people seemed to enjoy it. There are a couple of restaurant by the beach if you need more options or if you have a car or take a taxi you can go eat in town as well.

Everything is gorgeous the moment you put a foot at the reception the experience starts. The rooms have an excellent design very clean with a great atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable, you definitely don’t want to leave.

It doesn’t have a view to the sea, only to the empty lot next to them. They didn’t have service in the rooftop.

The hotel and the rooms are amazing, just as they appear in the pictures! The communal areas around the hotel and the pool are really great and the food in the restaurant it excellent (a little expensive, but really good quality).

I had read some reviews that said it was 15 minutes to the main town, but did not realize this was by car (my bad for not looking into this). So if you are staying here I think it is important to know that there is not much close to the hotel itself, just a couple of restaurants near the beach (one was closed, one closes at 5pm). If you are happy to stay mostly in the hotel, enjoy the pool and the food there, then it is perfect :) or else be happy to get a taxi when you want to go elsewhere. The beach (when we were there) is not suitable for swimming and we did not see anyone lying out. We got a taxi to a recommended beach that was nice.

Wonderful modern boutique hotel. Top notch service. Great restaurant with tasty Mexican dishes. Location far away from town, which I enjoyed.

Unfortunately due to a hurricane a few years ago the beach closest to the hotel is not nice and one has to drive to get to a nice beach (close by). The hotel is next to traditional village homes with chickens and roosters so I was woken up by roosters very early in the morning (hotel does provide earplugs though).

Very tastefully decorated and clean. We loved the room and the housekeeping staff did a great job. I enjoyed the pool as it was long enough to do laps. Staff were friendly. Front desk staff were exceptional!!❤️

Location. Not enough services close by. Restaurant was good but it would have been nice to have a few more healthy snack foods besides smoothies on the menu and more vegetables served with the meals.
