After visiting the area few times I'm pretty confident this is the best property in Huatulco - the hotel is beautiful and the facilities are excellent, all the way from the top with the beautiful balcony overlooking the bay, to the palapas on the beach.

The restaurants & bars at the hotel are a bit disappointing when compared to the overall quality of the property. Drinks by the pool are quite good, but food at both the beach club and the restaurant at the top is quite underwhelming given the general price point. The Quinta Bella on Chahue has much better food options (and for lower prices too!) so we ended up taking cabs and eating out multiple times, even though the scenery and location at the Quinta Real are far superior.

The facilities and staff are incredible! It's a wonderful hotel with a beautiful, uncrowded beach. The rooms are very comfortable and large, and the bed is excellent. You can rest well, and if your plan is to unwind, you can achieve it here. Now, on the other hand, the restaurants are good but not great. Prices are very high if you consider that the food is just “ok”. I was very keen to stay in the hotel everyday to eat there, but decided to go out most dinners.

The private pool, and the beach club were really great! The staff was very willing to suit our needs and made us feel very comfortable. Thanks a lot!

The infrastructure is visibly not new. The Compressors necessary for the air-con in the rooms are very loud and never stop. Once you notice it, is annoying. Some people might get used to, but for noise-sensitive people, can be a problem.

+ Location: beautiful overseeing the Tangolunda bay lobby and rooms. Really close to the city Center ~10-15 minutes by cab. + Service: super friendly staff willing to help at every step of the way. + Facilities: the pool, restaurant, lobby and beach facilities were amazing.

- Restaurant: breakfast and dinner are missed opportunities. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great view but the food does not live up to the expectations of a 5 star hotel. It would be great for breakfast to have a proper coffee machine. - Internet: wifi was not working in our room nor in common areas for various days.

The resort is located on the beautiful Tangolunda beach and bay. It was very easy to access nearby restaurants and attractions in the local areas. The meals were good and all the staff were very helpful and attentive.

The menu did get a bit tiresome after 4-5 days and a daily dinner special would be a nice addition. No happy hour events for guests to meet and mingle.

The place is beautiful and has the best views.

I wish it had extra place to shower and to get change considering it’s a beach resort and sometimes people leave straight to the airport from the beach. Also the receptionist need to have the same information, we were told something and another person told us completely different information so it’s a little confusing.

The hotel is very lovely. The views are magnificent. The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. The staff was always quick to attend to our needs.

Some rooms have better views than others, but I doubt they cost more. Room 120 has only a partial view of the ocean, but a terrific view of some vegetation and the carreterra nearby. I could hear traffic from our balcony. That was disappointing.

The room was beautiful. The beds were comfortable.

The prices in the restaurant were as high as you would spend in any major City in the world. Although I understand this in some capacity it did seem hard to understand how inflation at this level was necessary to support the running of the business here in Oax. The quality of the food was passable but miles away from quality in other restaurants charging prices like this. I can only hope this establishment passes on the extra revenue to their staff and is a choice employer for this reason. Otherwise I would say it was absurd at 95p for coffee for example....

The property is beautiful - MUCH better than the photos. The breakfast was amazing and a great deal for what they offer. The view is great. We LOVED having our private pool. We checked out the public pool which looked kind of run down, so we were glad to have our own pool.

The AC in our room hardly worked. It was cooler than the temp outside, but we sweat all night and had a hard time sleeping. 3 times they checked it and said everything was fine but it stayed hot. The staff was friendly for sure, but not overly nice or helpful. We didn’t realize tips weren’t included the first day and didn’t tip and then received bad service. When we realized we tipped nicely and then suddenly they were more attentive. Nothing wrong with wanting tips, but at a luxurious place like that the service should stay the same regardless.

We were on our honeymoon. Staff was fantastic and always very helpful. Breakfast was always very good. Restaurant was nice. since the hotel only has about 28 rooms it always felt very private and perfect for couples or honeymooners. We had one of the suites with the private pool. Room was huge. Bathroom with a nice jacuzzi tub. 2 balconies, one with a hammock and below with the private pool. Sea views were amazing as it is on a hill. It was a fantastic honeymoon and everything was brilliant. We will be looking to come back in the future.

The mattress was maybe a little bit too soft for our liking. Other than than everything was flawless.
