There are 2 sisters, Meribel y Irene who manage the property who are absolutely wonderful and are great cooks. We had 2 breakfasts, and they were very flavorful. Highly recommend! The pool is very refreshing and the terraza is great for chilling and reading a book. Very close to Playa Santa Cruz. Taxis are available at the roundabout down the street.

Some of the amenities in the room need attention (lamps). The water pressure in the shower was minimal.

Hector was very helpful and served as a lovely meal of mahi-mahi he had caught that morning. Maribel and Carlos we're so helpful and so much fun. We shared meals together and laughs. They took us on trips to see the sunrise and the sunset a big highlight of trip.

57 steps to our room. Perhaps the ad should say not for people with mobility issues. And the beds were very very firm. I have back issues so it was an issue for me. Otherwise all was good.

The Villa is a lovely Mexican style quaint rooming house .I have stayed 4 times now and it gets better every time . I really enjoy the pool after a walk back from the beach . Mirabel and Irene are amazing hosts who make sure the rooms are inviting and comfortable . I am looking forward to my next visit in 2025 already 😎

Apartment did not provide coffee, tea, cream, sugar and just one coffee filter. It did have all serverware, pots, pans and utensils needed. Also, booking appropriate apartment is confusing. I was told I booked wrong apartment, but two units had exactly same description (description did not indicate which had kitchenette). Only option was to cancel and pay additional fee. So I just left it. When I arrived I paid an adfitional 500 pesos to stay in correct unit.

Short walk to downtown Santa Cruz road mostly shaded said hi to the locals on the way. Liked getting away from town at the end of the beach day. Pool was cool and welcomed after a hot day. Coffee in the morning ready by 7 thanks Maribel. Bed comfortable balcony nice to have roof top terrace bird watchers paradise access to a kitchen a bonus. Taxis relatively inexpensive and readily available lots of beaches close by to explore. We had a great holiday.

Air conditioner unit that services the room below on our balcony mostly not an issue until the never shut it off couple moved in. Only took a couple of minutes to cool the room down so not sure why they never shut it off maybe they wanted to ice skate or something. Kind of took a little away from the tranquility of the place. Not the Villa's fault.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Felt like staying with friends. Bed was comfortable, room was a good size with a small refrigerator. The table and chairs on the balcony was a nice touch.

There are many flights of stairs and no elevator, but the owner helped with the luggage. Area is very quiet except when the local dogs start barking a few times during the day and night. Also a ceiling fan would help keep down the use of AC

Pleasant guest house, close to restaurants and La Crucecita centro. The hosts were very amiable and helpful. The room was a good size, and the a/c was welcome.

There were a number of dogs kept penned at a house nearby who barked continuously during the day. Fortunately they were fairly quiet at night.

Great house, surrounded by woods, roof terrace for bird watching, pool for cool offs, free water, wonderful caretaker, prompt host, easy parking, on a dead end street

There’s construction in the neighborhood, nothing to do with the Villa. Just a bunch of banging early morning.

Maribel was a great person she was very informative and kind to my family and I. The pool was great to have and big plus was the ac.

I have nothing to complain about we loved the property and Maribel the care taker of the place.

In walking distance of downtown Santa Cruz and the beach. Property was clean, organized, and well maintained. Maribel, the hostess, was welcoming and kind.

Guest property at the end of the street had LOUD parties.
