We loved the beachfront location, just a short walk from the main cheap supermarket and nightlife (Coco Bongo). The hotel’s intimate size made for a more personal experience, and the room we had was absolutely stunning and spacious! We really wished we had more time to stay—it exceeded our expectations, especially considering the price. Joy, one of the staff members, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The information package we received before our arrival was incredibly helpful, particularly in navigating the local bus system, which saved us money on taxis. He also gave us great recommendations for authentic Mexican food and was always available to answer any questions we had. The hotel’s terrace and pool area were perfect for relaxing, with a rare private spot right on the beach. If your looking to keep costs down and travel around the hotel strip rather then just stay in a resort, We highly recommend this place!

The view from the room of the sea/beach was amazing, the room itself was nice and comfortable. The pool was brilliant with lovely stools and view of the sea, though it did need a bit of care. The staff on check in and checkout5 were great. The location is very close to the beach/sea, shops and restuarants.

The facilities were a bit strange, a microwave and fridge, yet no cutlery and crockery meaning we had to buy some. There was communal coffee, however there were no cups for our entire stay.

We had a really lovely stay at La Palma! David is really helpful and friendly - the wifi was down because of the storm and he kindly gave us access to another private network which we really appreciated! Alejandro was also really helpful when we checked out, advising us on the best bus to take to our next stop. The bed in the room is huge and comfy, the AC cold and the bathroom really modern. All the other staff are super friendly too. There’s a nice balcony with tables and chairs where you can enjoy complimentary coffee while looking at the ocean, and a bigger balcony overlooking the pool and ocean which we really enjoyed. The hotel is right on the beach too with a lovely seafood restaurant below. The location is also great - close to lots of restaurants and bars, as well as a huge supermarket. Would definitely recommend!

The location was great; right next to the ferry to Isla de Mujeres. The property was beautiful, and we liked that it was small which added a feel of intimacy. The pool was a nice added feature. The restaurant and bar were great and the people were very friendly and welcoming.

The drawers and shelves could have been a bit cleaner. Internet was very sporatic.

excelent location, on the beach, walking distance to restaurants, night life, beaches. amazing. the place was gorgeous, clean, comfortable, everything we needed for a great stay. sadly we weren`t able to enjoy all the facilities, due to lack of time. wish we would have stayed longer.

sadly the view to the beach is partially limited due to the roof of the restaurant infront, but you can still enjoy the balcony a bit.

Location was great...lots of easy to get to shops ...clubs...resturants...never had to take a cab...right on the small beach and had a nice small pool. Caroline and her staff were super and very friendly

It was a little loud at first from the bar but soon was always quite starting around 11pm..it did not bother during the day as was hardly in the room

Great value for money spot. Great location right next to the entrance of playa caracol. David and Ajelandro were both so helpful and friendly. The room was plain but clean.

There are a few things to note but they didn't really bother us during our stay. Walls were thin so you can hear the neighbours / people outside, but the noise levels weren't bad. The hot water in the shower was inconsistent but we didn't mind given the heat.

The location was perfect, the bar outfront is beautiful, the staff were all very nice also. Only a 9 because ideally cleaning would be a bit later than 9am, after a few drinks the night before we were often still asleep so only had the room cleaned once in the week. Otherwise perfect.

Great location, right at the entrance of the public beach. The public areas are great to lounge around in the afternoon.

It is on the the noisy side because it is on top of two restaurants. It does quite down at night but if you want some quiet time during the day, you are out of luck.

It was in a really good location. The lady at the front desk and the housekeeper was really nice and friendly! It’s only 9 rooms total so it’s very intimate. There’s a restaurant, the beach, a strip mall, car rental (hertz), and a super market all right outside.

I liked everything about it! They brought us whatever we needed whenever we texted them!
