The hotel was great value for money and we loved the room and was spotless and well supplied. The breakfast was excellent, but the pool bar was closed and no restaurant on site . This was notified but reduces experience. The location was quiet and the pool area was good The proximity to the golf course was fun and watching all the turtles in the large golf course pond alongside.

The hotel was doing a lot of maintenance and will be lovely, but some public areas could have been cleaner. The information on Booking.com did not make it clear that it was a gated community and you needed to show reservation and ID to get in. Also, although it might be 600m from the beach, you would have to swim a large pond and walk across a golf course and risk getting arrested. The walk round to the nearest restaurant was 13 mins and the beach more than 25 minutes. We were OK with this, but the info provided when booking is misleading and difficult. We spoke to the manager Juan, who was very nice and encourages us to feed this back for the booking.com site. We would stay again, especially if they start the hotel shuttle bus to the beach again.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Juan Carlos helped us at the front along with the other daytime lady, and so did every other worker there.. especially the night shift folks who helped us figure out how to order local takeout and checked us in after hours. The grounds are beautiful and next to what looks like a natural ruin. It wasn't too far from the beach, but there wasn't too much activity in the pool. The breakfast in the morning was really good and pleasant to eat. The rooms were clear and very nice. Great value for a place to rest my head at night. Staying in Playacar or PDC means you'll likely have to take taxis everywhere (no Uber), so I'd definitely recommend negotiating the taxi rate before even sitting down in the cab, because the rates aren't really standardized, particularly in that area where you're so dependent on them. The workers at Eurostar Hacienda, though, are really helpful at getting whatever you need, from a bike, to ordering a cab, or giving special discounts or rates on certain excursions. Very helpful!

The staff is helpful, professional and friendly. We got some good recommendations on what places re worth visiting in the area. The hotel is surrounded by green areas, we saw wild animals during our stay. Relaxing and comfortable stay

No restaurant service during the day, only for breakfast. It doesn’t have beach access, sadly it was difficult to find a beach in playa del Carmen, hotels have blocked access. Still it was a very good base to visit Akumal, Xcaret, cenotes etc

I LOVED OUR ROOM IT HAD A VERY COMFORTABLE BED, GREAT SHOWER AND A/C. THE STRUCTURE OF THE HOTEL WITH THE PILARS, HUGE PALAPA OVER LOBBY AND STAINED GLASS WINDOWS WITH LARGE SHELL DECORATION OVER HEADBOARD AND MIRROR IN BATHROOM. THE PEACE AND NATURE SURROUNDING THE HOTEL AND BEING ABLE TO HEAR THE BIRDS SINGING IN THE MORNING WHILE ENJOYING MY BREAKFAST.

THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED WHEN WE ARRIVED BUT THE GOOD THING WE HAD RENTED A CAR AND WERE ABLE TO GO OUT FOR DINNER. WE COULDN'T FIND THE HOTEL AT FIRST BECAUSE IT'S TOWARDS THE END OF THE VILLAS AND WE DIDN'T SEE THE SIGN OF THE HOTEL.

Beautiful property. Even better in person, we loved how beautiful the reception area looked and there’s ruins just outside the property. Juan at the front desk was the highlight of our stay. was amazing from start to finish with telling us places to go and making sure we’re okay. Thank you , Juan and all the other staff too!

Could do with more amenities, iron or hairdryer in room for instance. But you can call front desk and they will bring to you when it’s available.

This was the best hotel I have been during my stay in the Cancun-Tulum area. The breakfast was wonderful, with lots of options, very comfortable sitting area, so I could have my breakfast while joining a work meeting (internet worked perfectly). The hotel was not crowdy, so I could enjoy pretty much the swimming pool by myself plus one other guest. The location was also very nice, having a car. The Playacar beach was beautiful and there is an Argentinian restaurant close by where I have amazing empanadas. I very much recommend this hotel.

There was an issue with the toilet that was promptly solved by moving me to another room. Service was great.

Excellent location, fantastic breakfast the rooms are very nice very spacious the shower was also really good, The staff who work here are super helpful and very kind! Added bonus of having your very own pyramid right outside ha Absolutely can't recommend this place enough amazing value for money and we look forward to returning here again.

There were a lot of things not working or closed down like the jacuzzi in the pool area, the pizza oven zone, the pool bar. The spa wasn’t open but when all of this opens this is going to be a really sweet place to stay.

Was not mentioned anywhere, that if the hotel has no acces directly to the beach You can not use whatever beach you want. Had to travel around to find one where we could enjoy the beach.

The location is fabulous, quiet and immersed in a luxurious nature, but just at a walking distance from the popular Quinta Avenida in Playa del Carmen. Great pool with pool bar service.
