The review is based on my stay October 2023:- The room: my room was oceanfront with bath tab, the view was amazing, the room itself is spacious and well decorated. The hotel: it's not a big hotel so there is not alot of guests, sometimes, it's quite like you have the hotel all for yourself. The beach: the beach area and the pool aren't so big like other large resorts but since the hotel itself is not too big, I have seen individual alone at pool so it's really nice place. The breakfast: the breakfast was from a menu (not buffet) , I tried different main courses throughout my stay and they were all delicious. The staff: the hotel staff ( the doorman, receptionist, room service and restaurant staff) are very kind, polite and friendly. The hotel location: very safe, the location was perfect for me (I had a car) it was central for all the places I wanted to visit. Not in the city and it's very quiet (perfect for me), although the hotel is far from the city, I have seen many taxis near the hotels so I don't think you will find a problem in finding a taxi. Honestly, if I visited the area, I would choose staying at the hotel again

We loved the staff, very friendly help from Lesley, Fernanda on the front desk. Mario, Antonio on the roof and other restaurants, were all great. It took a few days for them to not be so shy, but they were all lovely. We loved that this was a small boutique hotel. Yes, the beachfront is small, but it was very relaxing compared to the monster resorts. The rooftop pool is stunning

It sometimes can feel like they prioritise day pass holders who come to the rooftop primarily. They did say they held the front row of beds on the pool for hotel guests, but a few days (not all it must be said), the day pass holders had the run of the place. There was also a private event one night on the roof that was way over the top with music and noise. They did deal with it when I called at 2am, but they should have not let it get like that in the first place. A buffet style breakfast would I think suit us better and they could be more generous with the coffee and tea at breakfast. Their current rules on 2 cups of the grim drip coffee rather than their delicious barista coffee feels a bit cheap...oh, and please start using fresh fruit juices for breakfast.

-Unfair prices activities offered -Location is very far from city and anything else. You can’t go anywhere without a car / taxi not even a small supermarket. Most tour providers don’t pick you up either. -Most of restaurant staff doesn’t speak English sufficiently (eg if you ask if a dish is vegetarian) - often when we wanted to place an order the selected dish wasn’t available on that day / the week - very long waiting time for breakfast (eg we have been 3 guests and waited for 45min)

The view was lovely, the beach has tidepools that we spent hours looking at, the pools were nice, I loved the hammocks, and the food was decent, also in a good location/ near towns so you can go to the store, I had a great time, found so many cool things, and got to take my boyfriend to the beach for the first time!

Every morning when we woke up the room was covered floor to ceiling in condensation, i have no idea why. We didn't keep it that cold? The mirrors were unusable cause they were fogged up, and the floor legitimately felt like someone just mopped, but not clean. It was actually really yucky. They need a dehumidifier bad, or in a few years there is sure to be mold. That is my only complaint, so to the hotel! Yall really need to check that out, I think it would probably be an easy fix (and worth it in the long run) to just put dehumidifiers in the rooms

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this 5-star boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the personalized service and attention to detail. The staff made us feel like VIPs, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The hotel itself is stunning—chic, elegant, and perfectly located. The spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated rooms offer a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The amenities are top-notch, and the pool area is an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant town. The restaurant menu is short, and the food tastes amazing. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. We also loved the intimate, boutique atmosphere. Unlike large resorts, this hotel offered a peaceful, personalized experience that made our stay feel extra special. The massage service is unforgettable. If you're looking for a luxury getaway in Playa del Carmen, this is the place to stay! We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return!

For us, the pool was too shaded, without sun, but heated. :) Uncovering the pool from the palm trees would be enough to give it a beautiful sunny exposure.

In summary, our stay was wonderful! Julio and the team gave us a very warm welcome and were always available for questions and requests. The room was very spacious and had a spectacular view of the beach club and the ocean. The beach club had many trees that provided shade to chill during the day on the chairs and in the pool. The pool at the rooftop did not have shade, but that was fine during the afternoon. The breakfast was excellent, as was the food in general.

The location a bit outside Playa del Carmen is both a blessing and a curse. It gave jungle vibes and made the location more difficult to reach. Be sure to book a taxi via either app "RadioTaxi PDC" or "InDrive”.

Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were very good.

Location - nowhere to walk except the beach. Taxi ride if you want to go into Playa del Carmen. Food - only Roof restaurant open in evening- limited menu, no specials/dish of day. After 5 nights, ran out of dishes I fancied. Also there seemed to be issues with oven, so some dishes were not available. Other items were ‘unavailable’ - drinking straws! Try drinking a slushy pina colada without one! Also must be the only restaurant in Mexico with no Mescal.

Beautiful rooms on a beautiful beach. The food downstairs and at the beach was very good. It was a nice touch to bring a treat to our room on the evening of our first night. Room service was great. Management and staff was great.

We didn’t love the rooftop restaurant menu, expensive and they are trying too hard to have interesting, odd dishes. Bugs!

the rooms are the key of this hotel. its all about the rooms, which are absolutely beautiful, all around 65 square meter each. probably one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever had, and I’ve travelled quite a bit. second of all, the staff is the other big + in this hotel. very polite, always smiling, always giving you their best possible service. the rooftop restaurant is a killer. dined there around 5 times and the quality of the food is top notch.

the only downside I would give is the beach, which is full of rocks and sargasses, which sworm the beach, making it difficult to enjoy the swim. you have to walk further up/down the beach to be able to swim freely without all the rocks.

I've traveled the world, and this hidden gem is one of my absolute favorites. The staff at this location is second to none. The General Manger, Serman has Always gone above and beyond. Julio, I believe is the front desk manager, and they have always made sure we were taken care of in every possible way. Ann, and the rest of the staff, made sure we had everything from the proper apps to order out, late night, to coordinating any and everything that we needed. 10 out of 10, every single stay!
