Una Vida was the perfect spot for our stay at Tulum, the staff was AMAZING the reception/concierge team made our stay delightful, they were always available, provided incredible recommendations and helped us with reservations, they definitely had a huge influence on making our trip very unique. Hotel has a very nice relaxed tropical vibe, very nicely decorated and this is true throughout the entire property. Our room was very spacious with two separate areas, bedroom+bathroom and second bedroom/living room that ensured a comfortable stay for the entire family. Nice private outdoor/patio area was a plus with hammocks and chairs. Outdoor shower and bathtub were a nice surprise. Swimming pool has a nice ambiance, with loads of vegetation surrounding it and comfortable lounging area, quiet and peaceful. Property is conveniently located at a quiet street, close to Tulum center where you can find many nice restaurants and it is only a 10-15min drive from the local beaches.

Sam and Niko omg they were the absolute best! They need a raise. The property was calm, spiritual. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They had cleaning service everyday. Asked if you needed anything. The food was great. I like that you could spend time at their sister villa;hotel bardo.

The mosquitoes, omg they were the worse. I also have to admit even tho I don’t want to, the bed was rock hard. I didn’t get any good sleep. Sam did ask at the end of my stay how was everything, and I mention this to him , he asked why didn’t I say anything, he would had gotten me a new room!!! So I guess that was my fault. And of course the mosquitos… that’s nature , you can’t handle that. Food was also a little pricey at the hotel.

Super beautiful facilities! The stuff is very friendly. We really found this was a nice oasis for our stay in Tulum.

- I think they should reduce prices for food and beverages o that people would actually order stuff. - We booked the cheapest room category and it was fairly small and had no fridge or cafe Maschine.

The pool at the sister hotel Bardo was very beautiful and within 2 min walking distance. The pool at una vida was also fine. The room was spacious and the airco works fine. The main street of Tulum pueblo was walkable, good restaurants within biking or car distance

Upon arriving and leaving we had to sign many documents, I thought this was a little much. Also they standard charge you a service fee.. which basically translates to they gave themselves a tip already... Service is ok, but definitely pushy at times

We had the most wonderful stay for our long overdue honeymoon. Everything was wonderful, they really made us feel special. A big shout out to Shio the experience manager who made our stay so special. She organised a fantastic trip to Punta Allen with the wonderful tour guide Lalo, an experience we’ll never forget. She also recommended an amazing restaurant for our last night in Tulum, which was some of the best food I’ve ever had. A shout out to Manu & Santos, two lovely waiters who really went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. If you want a small piece of paradise in Tulum look no further. We were also about to use the facilities at their sister hotel Bado which was equally as fantastic. 10/10

INTERIOR DESIGN !!!!! Beautiful ! Possibility to enter other hotels property, same beautiful. Good food! Cheesecake was unbelievable ! Taking free Chi-Gong/Yoga lessons in mornings! Staff taking brilliant care of the property and people there! Totally awesome ! ❤️❤️❤️

Food is expensive, but that’s based only on our budget, we’r from little country in Europe. Beach is like 15 min. taxi drive away but no prob. Enjoying jungle vibe and pool was awesome!

It is a beautiful place and the staff are incredibly helpful. It’s in a good location, only 10 minute walk from the main restaurant area. The food is also excellent. We also made use of the spa when the weather wasn’t so good, which was a great addition. To top it all off, we were celebrating two big birthdays and the staff went above and beyond to make it special.

We booked the one bedroom suite and found it odd that we had to go outside to go into the lounge area. As a result, we didn’t really use it. In addition, the bed in the room wasn’t particularly comfortable.

The place looks amazing, with yoga classes in the morning. Also we had a great party at Bardo (neighbor hotel) on our first night.

We booked a room with an outside plunge pool and a tub, when we got into the room we found out there was no tub in the room. After talking with reception they told us that it is pending availability which didn't make any sense. After long negotiation we got a 13% discount on our room.

This hotel is so beautiful with its oasis on the edge of Tulum town. The perfect retreat after a hot day sightseeing. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. There is the added bonus of the next door connecting hotel with additional options of a second pool and restaurant/bar etc.

Difficult to tear yourself away!
