Very clean, amazing location close to the city centre, fairly quiet, staff allowed us to check in 3 hours early which we really appreciated! Amazing shower, plenty of soap/fresh towels. The pool is great and bath towels are right there on the lounge chairs waiting for you. Absolutely beautiful common areas! Strong WiFi signal, good AC.

Our bed was way too firm, you can feel the springs of the mattress if you are above 85kg. Staff doesn't speak English as is the case for most of the accommodations in Mexico. Lighting could be better (only big ceiling lights available).

This is a great hotel & fantastic value for money. The bed and bedding were so comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure, the wifi was reasonable & the fan was quiet (we didn’t need aircon). Daily housekeeping, drinking water & glasses provided. Large clean room. Swimming pool area is lovely. Pool towels & comfortable lounges with cushions. Great central location. Perfect for us as 2 mins from the bus station.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Ask for a room away from the road. Would suggest getting a water cooler for reception to save on plastic bottles.

Great and charming hotel. The location is fantastic right behind the convent. There is a rooftop with tables, accessible to all guests with a great view of the. It was great to be able to chill at the terrace at night while enjoying the lights at the convent. The pool area is cozy and well taken care of, the bar wasn't working probably due to the low season but I imagine in the high season having the pool bar must be a plus. The rooms were clean, very well maintained and decorated. Amenities were provided. The staff was helpful and nice. I would definitely come back to this place.

The booking price included breakfast, but we were told it was only breakfast for one day at the hotel, even though we reserved for two nights. Typically, breakfast is included for the same number of days of the reservation.

Beautiful location in the heart of Izamal. The hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming and professional. There is a small restaurant that has breakfast available for purchase. My son enjoyed the pancakes. They don’t have a laundry room but the staff quickly provided a phone number to a local laundry service that will pick up and drop off your clothes for a small fee at the front desk of the hotel.

A real gem in the middle of the small village of Izamal. Spacious and clean rooms. Well functioning wi-fi and airconditioning. Delicately furnished. Beautiful setting just opposite the convent. The small pool in the garden between the rooms and the elevated breakfast restaurant was a real treat. The complimentory breakfast was fine - not extravagant but fine. Clear water in the pool, sunbeds and complimentory towels to be used at the pool. Excellent when the temperature is above 35C. The village is very cozy with a nice square and with the possibility to access the convent with the elevated grass court. If you are in this area of Yucatan you get excellent value for money here.

A bit of meldew in the shower and on the ceiling in the room should be fixed. It doesn´t smell but it doesn't look nice.

I stayed one night here, which was a stop over from Merida to Valladolid. It’s a charming small hotel right next to the cathedral. The gardens and pool at the rear are lovely. I received a lovely welcome from Fernanda, who also very kindly arranged an early morning taxi to the Tren Maya and also came to my room to let me know the taxi driver had arrived. This hotel was perfect for my short stay.

The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast not lunch or dinner. We had problems finding anywhere to eat in the evenings as there weren’t many restaurants in town and several we tried were shut or not serving food on those nights. The description on Booking.com for a ‘room with a view’ doesn’t seem to guarantee a view of the convent. We paid extra for a ‘city view’ but were initially given an upstairs room that only had a view of a hotel wall. Thankfully we got moved to the correct room when I complained as the views were stunning as you can see from the photos taken from our room.

It was a great hotel to be at! The food was good, the staff was friendly, and the location was great as well!

The bed mattress was very uncomfortable, hard so it was hard to have a good sleep. Also, there were no table lamps, so the room was hard to get around when we turned off the main light in the room.

Izamal is an historic city. It is poy to walk everywhere including the Mayan ruin. It even has horse drawn carriages. The inside of the hotel is modern and seems to have been recently updated.

It is a lovely comfortable hotel in an historic place.

We stayed in the former convent, San Antonio Di Padua which is much nicer than the main hotel next-door. Beautiful place, beautiful garden, very nice pool. Clean. And well located.

The street is very noisy, also at night.
