Beautiful rooms that are extremely quiet and relaxing. The lush gardens are an absolute pleasure. We loved the large pool - you can actually swim in it and not just splash around. The outdoor shower attached to the room was fabulous.

The restaurant staff were quite disorganised and rather slow. At breakfast, the items described on the menu did not match what was served. There is no milk with the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. You have to order it from room service and pay extra. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the town centre. This is not ideal for a spontaneous visit to town in the evening.

The food was delicious in both locations. Excellent service. The old part of the venue is very beautiful.

The main pool area has no shade whatsoever. The only shaded area has a television on all the time. The music was too loud and not all all relaxing. Why not play Mexican music instead of generic pop! The new developments surrounding the property will change the whole feeling of the place. For that reason I am not sure I would return

The quality oft the room was exceptional, size, set up, material used and equipment. Very good bathroom. Great balcony. Other facilities like swimming pool and gym are also very good.

The quality of service in the restaurant was average. Mainly due to language barrier. We had a dinner which was excellent, but courses did not come in the right order and it took very long. Breakfast was very good but we had wait quite long to receive it.

Hacienda Xcanatun is a stunning hotel with incredible rooms surrounded by lush and tropical greenery. The expansive pool and spacious relaxation areas offer perfect tranquility for unwinding. Impeccable cleanliness and unbelievably friendly staff ensure an unforgettable stay.

Generally the restaurant experience and quality of the dishes was not living up to the exquisite standards of the hotel. Expected more refined dishes.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. My husband arrived with a foot injury they provided a wheelchair for our stay. The rooms are beautiful luxurious the bedding is the absolute best! The food was excellent the pool was very relaxing and the spa was the best experience!

If I had to put something down it would be the flies, when we ate outside they bothered us during the meal.

Literally everything was outstanding: the staff (super responsive via WhatsApp, before, during, and after our stay), the place itself with spotless clean and spacious rooms in the middle of this tropical paradise of a hacienda, to the food, and the excellent location if you want to visit Uxmal, Chizen Itza, and Merida. The hotel will also organize local travel and sightseeing trips for you if you want. If you are in Yucatan, this is THE place to stay at.

We concluded our 9 day visit to the Yucutan with a one-night stay at the Hacienda Xcanatun. It was the perfect place to end. The hacienda buildings and gardens are stunning and well-maintained. We enjoyed the shady winding paths, birdsong, flowers, verandas and pools. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff is attentive with excellent English. The restaurant Casa de Piedra is excellent too! One of the best in all of Merida. We will be back!

The food at the restaurant Piedra de Agua was awful. It takes a loooong time to be waited. Food gets to the table cold.
