Calming and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms smell lovely like lavender. beautiful rustic and modern decor with a serene garden space and private rooftop plunge pool. Delicious tea, coffee and biscuits served all day. Breakfast is special to say the least… prepared for you and displayed at your side table. multiple healthy organic courses made from scratch, including the breads and preserves, from their sustainable garden. you feel truly cared for, like you are visiting family.

Only thing I would have preferred is a softer bed and pillow. but that wouldn’t sway me from staying there. the experience is lovely.

The Breakfast was fabulous. Such care and fastidiousness go into the preparation and presentation of this delightful breakfast, from homemade bread, jams, etc., fresh juice and each day, a delightful egg dish. A great way to start each day. Caeser was also so kind to offer me a drive to a tour I had scheduled and to the bus depot upon my departure. This was very kind and so appreciated. I loved La Flor and the people who run it! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

There is nothing I would change.

This is a little place of heaven in Valladolid. The hotel is super cute and has a great design. But what makes it the most beautiful are the people. Cesar, Jose and Lisa are very kind. They help with all your needs. We were on our honeymoon and got a surprise in the room (special note and bottle of vine). The place has an awesome roof where you can relax with a little tub. The breakfast is very good and prepared with love. We loved this place and would always come back.

Everything was perfect

This was the best choice ever!!! The owners, Lisa and Ceaser, are so kind and so wonderful!!! They helped us with everything. It was so cozy and the place is amazing. They do everything by themselves from breakfast to making you as comfortable as it can be. It truly felt like family. The location is a 10 min walk from the center and everything is close by. If you are going to stay in Valladolid, then this is the place to get your peace and comfort. Everything is so hygienic and tidy. A special thanks from us, for making our Mexico trip more special.

Everything is on point! There is nothing to complain about!

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the center. The host was so kind and helpful and guided us on the sites and routes to take while there. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there is a surprise rooftop terrace with a little pool/bath to relax and a fridge to keep your drinks etc while relaxing on the terrace. The breakfast is AMAZING - the vegetables are organic and from the host’s farm and the bread and jam are homemade and delicious. Anyone visiting Valladolid should try to stay in La Flor!

The owners were amazingly friendly and helpful with suggestions, directions, and provided clear communication before we even arrived. We loved their chill, ethos, general vibe and were amazed by how many languages were spoken between the two of them. We could taste and feel their love and pride from their homemade/homegrown vegetables, breakfasts, bread, cookies to the efforts to build the hotel itself, which funds their self-sustainable farm right outside of town. The whole place is beautifully and minimally curated with a casual, comfortable, jungle-y, wabi-sabi look. The private rooftop with the little "plunge pool" was like being in a treehouse in the jungle. It's a small 2-room boutique hotel which made it very quiet and chill- more like an Airbnb than a hotel since "reception" hours are limited to just a few hours in the morning (so you have to lock up/unlock the street door yourself to leave/enter the premises). It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the two different parts of town that we mostly spent time in. My husband and I felt safe overall walking around town, but just a note for skittish travelers that the hotel is located off a very quiet/dimly lit residential neighborhood.

My husband and I both had to work from the hotel one of the days, so it was difficult to find private space while having access to outlets. The desk in our room was great to have, but far from an outlet (the cord had to stretch across the doorway into the bathroom). The wifi was good for casual use, but inadequate for the intensive video calls/graphics work that we required. I suggest the lightbulbs in the room to be changed to a warmer temperature (not cold, blue-ish light) and also that the bedding get a refresh (white fluffy sheets, etc.)

it is not easy to find the right words to describe: Cesar and Lisa are welcoming, they are besides reason enough to stay there. The Casa has 2 rooms, you have a quite private time- the room is absolutely nice incl the architecture and smell 😍and dehydrater: this is so helpful in Yucatan. The terrace is a great relaxing place with a cold refreshing mini pool- everything is well designed and nice to look at. The breakfast room is sweet, cozy. the breakfast: perfect. Cesar prepares it and brings the products from his farm: fresh fruit, freshly baked bread and sweets, salad and eggs. The place is full of love. Recommendation in every case, incl location 100%.

The La Flor Casa is a wonderful small boutique hotel. We enjoyed the privacy very much as the hotel has only two rooms downstairs and a very nice sundeck on the first floor. The rooms are beautiful decorated and have a huge and very cozy bed. Lisa and Cesar are the bests hosts you can imagine. They serve a really delicious breakfast and give you very good tips for restaurants and places to visit in the area. The hotel is located in a safe area, you can easily park your car on the road or on the hotels premises and it’s only a few walking minutes to the main place of Valladolid and many restaurants. We can highly recommend to stay here and would love to come back!

We have been enjoying a fantastic stay at Casa Flora : location is great, the 2 rooms are really nicely decorated and Ceasar is a great host, preparing excellent organic and home made food for breakfast and providing very good advices for visiting Valladolid and the area! Not to be missed!!!

Everything was ok

We LOVED our hosts! We were warmly greeted by the owners of this TINY (2 rooms) hotel who were engaging, interesting and informative. They could not have looked after us better, and gave us a delicious, generous and healthy breakfast sourced from their own farm. They gave us a map and directed us to their favourite places. The room was comfortable, with everything we needed, and with a leather chair we wanted to take home! There was a lovely roof terrace that was an absolute joy in the morning.

There was nothing we didn't like, but I guess we hadn't realised quite how tiny it was, and so what looks like a pool in the photos is more the size of a bath, and the bathroom is also tiny. But maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention when I booked.
