The staff was friendly and very helpful. The traditional Moroccan tagine dinner was excellent; some of the most tender beef we had during our trip. The Riad is located very close to the airport and provided complementary airport transportation. As a group that had an early morning flight, this was perfect for us. The evening we arrived from Marrakech, they picked us up from the Berrechid train station for a very reasonable fee. The grounds are beautiful. They have flowering bushes, a pool (we did not swim), peacocks, chickens, a domesticated cat, and a balcony from which to watch the sunset. Very idyllic. The property is best for people making airport connections. There is nothing to see within walking distance since it is surrounded by agricultural lands. It is 30 km from the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, for example.

Perfect for a long layover. We had a 12 hour layover between long flights and had already visited Casablanca. Instead of staying in the airport or doing sightseeing, we came here and 1000% recommend anyone else considering this to do this. It was perfect. They picked us up and drove us back to the airport (in an air conditioned van). It is around 20 min from the airport, so it is much more convenient than going to downtown Casablanca. The room had AC and a clean bathroom with all the necessary toiletries. And the best of all - the pool with lounge chairs, and dinner included. Saying here allowed us to swim, eat delicious food, shower and nap between flights - much better than walking around the airport.

The shower had its own mind and changed temperatures randomly. We could still shower but with patience. Everything else was great.

After a month traveling around Morocco, we took a train from El Jadida to Casablanca, another train from Casablanca to the airport (an easy transfer), and arranged with the raid for an airport pickup. Lovely welcome to two weary travelers by the kind owners. Riad Tanjil is calm, peaceful, and relaxing, exactly what we needed. This riad has a large, clean pool and a pretty garden populated by peacocks and hens, splendid chickens, and a couple of lovely cats. We had a comfortable room with a good bed, writing table and chair, a wardrobe, and a pleasant view from large windows. After a delicious dinner---with one of the best tajines we had in Morocco---and a good night's sleep, they took us to the airport for an early morning flight. Staying at Riad Tanjil was a perfectly wonderful way to wrap up our visit to this lovely country.

Our room had a nice large, very clean bathroom but perhaps good to note to the owners that the hot/cold water in the shower was a bit wonky.

Had a Superb 2 night stay at Riad TANJIL. It's a lovely small Riad conveniently located close to the airport. This was perfect after our travels in Morocco. We just needed a short stay before flying back home. They provide transportation to and from the airport if needed, and we made use of this service. The highlight of the stay was the beautiful and well maintained pool and gardens. The pool area was very quiet and relaxing, it's great for swimming. Clare the host was very accommodating and took on board all our requests.

A very clean and tranquil place with beautiful peacocks and some other animals walking around in the garden. The interior is very beautiful with oriental style. There’s a big choice of books. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I wish I could stay longer and enjoy cool nights near the pool. I had only half a day to see Casablanca and wanted a tour. They kindly offered a guide, who took me to some most interesting places in the city.

Was a lovely and elegant stay - the pool area was so relaxing and the staff were so kind they brought out tea and cookies. Loved seeing the peacocks roaming around while enjoying the tea. They were so accommodating to the point of bringing a tray of breakfast before my early departure to the airport (they also arranged the transport there and recommended when I should get there). I would absolutely stay here again. The dinner and breakfast meals were wonderful as was the staff - thank you again!

Amazing staff - went above and beyond, worked overtime to help me with travel difficulties and make sure I enjoyed seeing as much as possible when my trip was cut short. No request was too difficult for them, always cheerful and friendly! Meals were super, too, very authentic like eating with family

It's a bit far from city center or public transport so not ideal for long stays - perfect if you're doing one or two nights between flights

Loved having fresh air and green space after being in Marrakesh. The pool (unheated) is beautiful and there’s a terrace and balcony. The rooms are large and clean and comfortable, although the beds are very firm (vietnam style) and my sensitive back is still mad at me 😂. The meals are delicious, for sure the best we have had in Morocco. They have games and books available. Kitties, peacocks and Guinea fowl roam the property. And there’s a Tv in the room. This finally felt like being on vacation! Amazing value when dinner, breakfast, and transfer to airport are included. They also let us stay at the property for a few extra hours after checking out before our flight which was much appreciated. Very responsive hosts.

I found the add ons a bit pricey. We stayed for lunch (no choice since there’s no town around) and it was $40 for 2 adults and a small child for Harira, tajine and fruit. In Marrakesh, in a tourist area that same meal would have cost half of that. But we splurged since the cooking was so good. And the taxi from berrechid train station (30 mins) was $30. In Marrakesh I took taxis for 15 mins that cost $5. But again, no real choice here since we didn’t know the area and they were very responsive and helpful as it was. I would have appreciated more info about things to do in the area or how to get back and forth to casa, like a mini guidebook in the room.

Wonderful, fresh food cooked with care. Great service and attentive staff. Were welcomed like we were family. Had a true Moroccan feel. Although near the airport, it was just like being in the middle of the country with fields, sheep, and beautiful birds like guinea hens and peacocks. Highly recommend this spot for people who do not want a same old boring hotel. Will definitely visit again - was one of the heights of our trip and was reasonably priced. The hosts speak numerous languages so it was easy to communicate.

thought there would be someone waiting at the airport to pick us up however it turns more into waiting for your driver to show up at the airport. not a big deal but would have been nice to know the driver won't come until you reach out to say "you're waiting"
