I had the pleasure of staying at the Riad El Amine Fes during my visit to Morocco, and it was a truly memorable experience. The architectural beauty of Riad El Amine Fes was a feast for the eyes, with a stunning Moroccan-style arch that graced the center of the space. The intricate tiling work throughout the riad was nothing short of magnificent, showcasing the rich craftsmanship that Morocco is renowned for. The fusion of modern furniture with the traditional elements of the riad was masterfully executed, creating a harmonious blend of aesthetics in the multiple spaces. Our room was a true reflection of luxury and comfort, and we couldn't have asked for a more impressive accommodation. The staff, although we encountered a slight communication barrier, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Amine the owner , in particular, played a pivotal role in bridging any gaps, providing valuable assistance with transportation and offering valuable guidance on local restaurants and sightseeing. One delightful aspect of our stay was the cuisine offered at Riad El Amine Fes. Their own food was a delight for the palate, allowing us to savor the authentic flavors of Morocco. The culinary experience added another layer of enjoyment to our visit. In sum, I would not hesitate to return to Riad El Amine Fes on my future visits to Morocco. The combination of breathtaking architecture, attentive staff, and culinary delights made our stay an unforgettable one. We had an unforgettable stay at this magnificent Riad in Fes! From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredibly warm. The staff are kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Mr. Amine, the owner, who personally ensures that every guest is happy and comfortable. His dedication and attention to detail truly make a difference. The breakfast was generous, delicious, and varied a perfect way to start the day. And the panoramic rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the medina. I highly recommend this exceptional place it truly deserves a five-star rating!

The interior was outstanding, includes big bedroom , seating areas, and restaurant. Staff very kind and helpful.

Impossible to reach the hotel by car, it’s in a very small alley, with no direction signs.

Once you step through the door, you enter into an amazing 17th century perfectly restored oasis. After enjoying the main space with a cup of Moroccan mint tea, I was taken to my room (I was upgraded to the ambassador suite) with a table full of delicious treats which made me feel like a princess. The breakfast is delicious, each day different local dishes. And the pool is a perfect way to cool off after a day walking through the medina. Overall a lovely hidden gem to recover from the hustle and bustle of Fes. Best of all, the staff truly went above and beyond. Unfortunately I got stung by a wasp on the rooftop terrace and as I am allergic they drove me to the hospital, so I could get to an IV injection to prevent the allergic reaction. Thanks to their quick action I got to enjoy my stay in Fed (and never even saw a hospital bill)

Staying at Dar El Amine was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect—always kind, incredibly accommodating, and eager to help with anything I needed. The decor is absolutely stunning—elegant, traditional, and thoughtfully designed to reflect the rich history and charm of Fes. Every corner of the riad feels like a step back in time, yet it’s perfectly comfortable and inviting. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it felt like being part of a home. Authentic, peaceful, and full of heart. I can’t wait to return. The location is just a couple minute walk inside the Medina. Easy to access the Main Street for easy transport and the area felt safe although we did not venture out at night and enjoyed the property instead.

The riad is comprised of multiple connected buildings with rooms that greatly vary in size. It’s definitely worth it to spend a little more for a nicer room and if you have accessibility issues, be sure to request a room on the first floor or one that is accessible via the elevator. The food at the riad was tasty but a little pricier than expected. Also note: the rooftop restaurant is NOT affiliated with the hotel. They require reservations and are not very hospitable.

They upgraded my room to a palatial suite. Offered services like tours which came in handy when our guide canceled last moment.

I do not know if the Sama rooftop restaurant is the same owners as hotel but I do not recommend it. After eating there I had terrible food illness, but no problems with the hotel breakfast. However there is a fabulous restaurant walking distance that has an incredible view called L’Amandier.

Great Riad! All the staff was very polite and helpful. They provided with transport , a super guide ( Abdul Soussi - sorry if misspelled, or Mr Sammy Davis Jr) and all the information we ever wanted . The food was traditional Marocain, at the breakfast you eat well and good. Room was clean and the bed was a standard 5 star mattress. Also I recommend the Hamam and Massage experience. An overall very nice hotel with beautiful architecture and lovely staff.

Riad El Amine was a charming place to stay in Fes. It has a beautiful traditional Moroccan architectural touch that is more beautiful in person. It is right at the edge of the city so easy to reach by car. The staff were caring and friendly, especial thanks to Yaseen for the lovely best Moroccan dinner we had and for being there serving breakfast at the earliest hours of the day.

Absolutely stunning riad - beautiful design and a historic building. It was like staying in an art gallery!

It’s located in the Medina so it’s not the best location for wandering around on your own without a guide, however it’s great value for a beautiful and traditional riad experience. It was perfect for two nights in Fes and we booked a guide to show us around!

The people working in the Riad are caring and very friendly. They will go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasant. All in all a highly recommendable stay.

Well the spa was under construction and the rooftop was partly closed during our stay. For me that didn't matter, as the city is full of possibilities to experience both.
