There was a little misunderstanding at the beginning of the check in but the hosts are very nice people. The riad is located off the Main Street from the blue gate and the entrance is across from the Le Tabouche cafe. If this is your first time in Fes, note that you will be dropped off outside the gate if coming by taxi. The walk into the medina can feel a little rough.

I got the ground floor double room which offers little privacy as I can hear people talking outside, and I’m sure they could hear me too on the phone. But I’ve found that most riads don’t have good soundproofing. The toilet lid doesn’t stay up so you have to hold it up when you sit on it. There also isn’t a sauna in the room as advertised. Other than that, the riad is great value for money and centrally located — all in all, a good stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect, we confused our flight and we were supposed to arrive the day before and Khalid didn't mind at all, we took another flight to Tanger and he helped us find a bus to arrive to Fes and we arrived around 3am and he sent someone to look for us so we'd arrive safe and sound to the Riad. During all our staying he made sure we were comfortable, he gave us orientations about places to visit and to see, about the culture there cause they are in Ramadan, he arranged for us an excursion to the desert which was AMAZING. Breakfast was handmade and I strongly suggest you have dinner there at least once, best meal than in most of restaurants around the medina. The Riad was beautiful, beautifully decorated and the cleaning perfect. The location just in the heart of the medina. Couldn't have chosen better place to be in Morocco for the first time. Thanks for everything!

Just that the hot water in our shower was coming and going from time to time during the shower, but you just have to get the trick, apart from that, everything perfect.

Khalid (manager) has been really kind and friendly. Every day once we arrived to the riad, We had a good talk with him and it was very nice. The breakfast has been amazing the 6 days of our stay. One day we had to leave really early and we got it to take away and was also very good. Towels were changed and room cleaned every day. The location is really good: very close to one of main streets, to the blue gate (main entrance to the medina) and to restaurants, shops….

Our room was in the basement floor, close to the living room and sometimes was noisy…. For us it was not a big problem because we woke up early everyday but sleeping longer than 09:00 would have been complicated. Anyway we are very happy with the riad Lala Drissia si we advice it at 100%

This is a nice Riad in a great location - just off the main Medina street, and close to the main parking area - just to the west of the Medina, which makes it very convienent if you have a rental car. Breakfast was OK, the manager was very helpful and friendly. I was offered dinner ( 150 D) however as I was the only guest, I decided to visit one of the very numerous eateries in the main street instead, so cannot comment on the evening meal. It is nicely decorated, my room was great.

Unfortinately the shower in my room was broken, the manager checked this in the morning, and Im sure by now it will have been fixed. Due to the position of the toilet - in a very tight space, I found it difficult to use, however, I guess originally Raids never had toilets in each room :-)

Khalid made our stay incredible. Khalid continuously went over and above to help us, whether it was to tell how to get to places, how to go through the Medina, getting our SIM cards working and even walking with me to a local restaurant in a food emergency 😅 And these are just the bigger things. There were many other smaller assistances Khalid did that all helped during our 3 nights there. And the food served was excellent. In addition to the breakfast, we also order traditional tagines for lunch/dinner.

Hot water was inconsistent in our rooms

The staff were very kind and accommodating. I stayed here just for a night before I had to run off for orientation for class the next morning. Even though I didn’t have a lot of time to eat, they made me a fantastic breakfast and allowed me to leave my bags until I could check into student housing later that next day. It’s in a quieter part of the medina, so I was able to get a good night’s rest while there.

It’s a bit hard to find, but I like how quiet it is there.

Amazing place. Khalid was exceptional, so warm and friendly, helpful and always offering support and info when needed. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. The food was excellent. Great breakfasts and Do have dinner there...best food I'd eaten! Great location in the heart of the riad though I did get lost finding it and went to another similar named...but Khalid was called by the owner and he came to collect me...now that is service!

Nothing. Great place all round!

Great location with a really nice rooftop. Very kind and friendly staff.

Wifi signal in the room on the terrace was weak and location on the google maps was incorrect so we had some troubles finding it (look for Le Tarbouche restaurant, the alley entrance is on the opposite side of the restaurant). Also, water in the shower was either cold or extremely hot.

This Riad is ideally located a stones throw from the Old Medina. The building is lined with authentic Moroccan designs which give a natural feel and ease you in to the crazy life of the local Medina. The rooms are spacious and clean. Water pressure is very good and plenty of hot water is available. The rooms have air conditioning and the beds are comfortable. Khalid and the other staff members make your stay very welcoming and will go out their way to help. I would highly recommend staying here as the breakfast is also good.

Khalid was a great host - he was extremely responsive to our needs. Twice, he went to extra effort to take care of my family when we were trying to find solutions for our travel challenges. We are grateful for this extra attention and hard work on his part. Thanks, Khalid!
