Meriem has been absolutely amazing! Masterfully she made our stay at the Riad very comfortable with her warm and friendly nature, offering us tea and cakes upon our arrival (and day after day thereafter), we felt very comfortable and at home with everything else. She was very helpful throughout our stay at the Riad answering any questions we had. The Riad itself was stunning and smelt amazing with spacious rooms, a mystery remains in how it was peacefully quiet indoors amidst the Medina, with stunning views from the roof top, it’s a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend staying at this Riad.

This is our third time in Morocco and I can say this riad is one of the best stay. Not only the beautifully decorated interior, the most outstanding thing of it is the hospitality of the staff! Thank you Meryam, Mohammed and another Mohammed. They gave us warm welcome and helped us promptly whenever we needed. They also helped us booked a guide for Fes half day tour, the guide Karim is also one of the best! Room, price, location, all are superb. Oh! Did i forget to mention Simba the cat? Love this cutie! Definitely will stay here again!

Spotty wifi, but it is not the problem of the riad.

The staff really made my stay what it was. So kind and helpful whenever possible. They made me a little takeaway bag for my early check out because I was missing breakfast! Both Mohammed’s and the owner provided incredible service and when I’m next back in Fes I will absolutely be staying again. Breakfast was equally lovely and the facilities were clean. Room was small and cozy but absolutely fine for a solo traveller! Not to mention the Riad is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Ideally located walking distance away from everything in the Medina, it is a still a quiet haven to come back to after a busy day! You won’t even feel like you’re in the centre of the Medina whilst staying here! For the price I paid it was an absolute bargain. Truly exceptional. Thanks again to all the staff and I’ll be back! Flawless and faultless!

Nothing! I’m a tall guy so the shower was a bit short for me but made do!

The most stunning Riad we stayed at in Morocco! Every detail was beautiful, we felt so luxurious staying here, yet it was also warm, local and welcoming. They have the best staff, the owner went above & beyond as well as the rest of the staff. It’s very clean. The breakfast was yummy and we enjoyed having it in the most incredible, peaceful courtyard of the Riad. Great location, souk and restaurants 1 min walk away, yet Riad on a quiet street. Whenever we arrived back we were offered tea, which we accepted multiple times a day which we loved. We would love to stay here again if and when we return.

This riad is the most beautiful building we have stayed at in Morocco. The rooms and common area are ornate and lavish and there is painstaking attention to detail throughout. Beyond being beautiful, the Riad Sidrat had possibly the kindest and most attentive staff we’ve met (and that is saying a lot for Morocco)! They helped us plan out our day trips, suggested excellent restaurants, had plenty of meaningful conversations with us, and also even made us a little to go breakfast when we had to leave early morning for the airport! I have only positive things to say about this place and will be recommending it to all of my friends for their Fes stays!

No complaints at all :)

Our stay in Sidrat Fes was magnificent, from the location (a short walk from the parking lot) but still nestled in the historic medina, to the generous breakfast, the BREATHTAKING decoration and installations, all the way to the high-speed internet. I had to work remotely for two days and had minor issues with the internet connection. The gorgeous gardens make for a fabulous zoom backdrop ;) and Muhammad brought me fresh mint tea and a delicious cake during my meetings. I felt like I was staying in a palace. The staff was amazing, Meryem & both Muhammed's were graceful and super friendly, they helped us with coordinating someone to carry our heavy luggage upon leaving and constantly made sure we were feeling at home. The superior room was like having your own piece of history, truly a one of a kind experience and super roomy! The bathroom was great, and water pressure as well as hot water worked perfectly. The location was also superb, close enough to the main souks and restaurants, but in a quiet, safe alley away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Overall, a lovely stay, and will definitely be coming back inshallah!

The stairs are steep and a bit difficult if you have mobility issues or are older, but you can ask for a room in the first floor; not a real issue for us :)

The property itself was gorgeous! It is very authentic and well preserved. You wouldn't believe there's a medina right outside the door, it was so peaceful! Meryem and her crew were amazing. They went way above beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Got us a great driver and guide to take us sightseeing. Liaised with the driver who took us to Chefchaouen. Always had copious amounts of mint tea available. The day we checked out, kept our luggage so we could wander around for some last-minute tours. I don't know how they managed it, the riad was always full but we felt like the only guests...that's how personalised the service was. Thank you guys, will definitely be back!

The property was lovely! So beautiful and right in the heart of the Medina. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our suite was spacious and well-appointed. The property was extremely clean, safe and quiet. The value for the room was exceptional. They helped us arrange a guide for a day in the heart of the Medina and souks, which was also excellent. We can’t wait to return!

My only complaint and the reason I scored 9 instead of 10 stars is because the wifi was extremely slow and unpredictable. Unfortunately I had to do some work when I was visiting and I was unable to have an important meeting. The service throughout the Medina was not great, but it was particularly challenging in the Riad. Just a tip in case this is important to you. If I had not needed it, it would have been a perfect stay.

This is a really beautiful old Riad in the heart of the wonderful Souk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even bringing us tea and cake on the roof terrace spontaneously! The delux room was very spacious with lots of beautiful Moroccan artistic detail, a comfortable double bed, various tables, and a large sofa. Our room was up a quite steep narrow stairwell, but there were rooms (suites) on the ground floor so do check if have mobility issues. We were helped with carrying cases up and down. Taxis can not get right to the door, so do expect to walk through the Souk to reach the Riad, although there is a car park closer by (instead of being dropped at the Blue Gate). The bathroom was very clean and had a lovely shower. The water temperature needed time to adjust but was lovely and hot. We had a very nice breakfast with two types of pancakes, as well as other Moroccan style breads/cakes, with honey and jams. There was also a cup of chopped fruit and a yoghurt pot as well as tea and coffee. Unfortunately the Riad now offers Dairylea triangles rather than the Jben cheese (as many places are doing!). The wifi was excellent, with several options, so you always have a strong signal. The Riad is in a wonderful location, in the heart of the Souk, a 10 minute walk from the Blue Gate.

The walk to the Riad is an exciting experience in itself! I have travelled to many places but nothing can prepare you for Fez or the beauty of walking upto and into this Riad. Breathtaking. As I solo traveller I try and travel on a tight budget but I am happy I paid the extra just to experience such a warm welcome from Miriam and her team (sorry if I have spelt this wrong) also you are staying in a work of art so treat yourself. The single room is cosy with comfy bed. Roof terrace has amazing view of the mountains. Will be back next year
