Kibir was wonderful, we had car trouble and had to cancel our first night, which he kindly accommodated. He also let us check in early at 8:30 a.m., which was a huge help after driving all night to Fes. The stay felt homely and personal, more like visiting a friend’s home than a hotel. Kibir welcomed us with tea and madeleines during check-in. The room was comfortable and a good size, with a clean bathroom. Breakfast was tasty, including msemen, banana, cheese, olives, and eggs.

The air conditioners need cleaning and servicing, as the filters were clogged and dusty. Be careful when entering the room- the doorway is low and easy to bump your head on. The riad is located deeper inside the medina, which can make it a bit tricky to reach through the narrow alleys. With only a few rooms available, we had hoped to extend our stay but it was already fully booked.

A special aspect of Dar Drissi is how quiet it is, it’s very nice after a busy day around the medina to get there and enjoy the calm silent environment. The rooftop terrasse is gorgeous, perfect for a tea in the sunset. Kibir the host is extremely welcoming and available. Breakfast also very good. And lastly the position is worth to mention, very central but tucked away in quiet alleyways. Definitely reccomend!

Julian was excellent in communication. Arranged Kibir for picknup at station. Kibir met us at the entrance of the medina and was a perfect host and breakfast cook throughout. He accommodated us, communicated well, met our needs and requests and organised a guide for a tour on our 3rd day. The Medina is beautiful. The riad is amazingly beautiful. Book the ground floor room if you have knee problems.

Kibir, the manager, was very kind and helpful. He could fulfil all our requests. The location of the riad is very interesting. It’s in the medina and very exciting when you have to walk through a very small alley until you find this beautiful riad hiding from the busy medina. We enjoy our way from the parking to the riad. It’s recommended you get some help from someone to get your luggages to the riad.

Very lovely place! Kibir (the owner of the place) is super nice man and hospitable! He was always taking care of us. Breakfast 9-10 was always ready before 9am even. Nice atmosphere. Room is small and cozy. Fresh bed sheets. Clean. I would make some touch to bathroom, but it’s fine. It’s just center. In the morning Kibir gave us map, showed where we can go. Was really nice. When we arrived someone met us on parking slot. Which cost 20 dirham a night. Walking distance

A bit weird way to hotel, if you arrive late night , like us. But after first walk in the ending it feels okey. Also people are kind around and helpful. That don’t have to be scared☺️

The owner loves his place and job bery much. The place is very beautiful and located close to the main street. The breakast is simple but good to give you energy for the first half of the day. They clean rooms every day which maybe even too much. Be careful with the taxi drivers. The price from and to train/bus station to the mdeina is 20-30 dirhams (they will ask for 100 at the beginning, then will agree on 50, but be confident and tell them the price is 20)

The bathroom is not very comfortable, the water doesn't drain good, but it's common problem for the places in Morocco. It is not very easy to find the place even they have the signs on the main street, because it's located at the end of a very narrow and small street

It’s such a wonderful place to stay. When I arrived I was a bit frightened in the narrow streets and felt very safe every minute. Kibir does a wonderful job as a host, picking you up from the parking area and recommending restaurants and tours. The Dar‘s location is fantastic, very easy to navigate with plenty of options for food nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

The bathroom smelled a bit which is quite ok thinking about how old the Medina is.

It could be cleaner, particularly the dishes. The breakfast options were somewhat limited, leading to a feeling of monotony by the second day.

The Riad itself is undeniably stunning, even though the building and facilities may show their age (which we expected). The staff's warm hospitality and readiness to assist added to the experience. Its central location in the heart of the Medina made navigating the area a breeze.

The narrow alleyway leading to the Riad had a somewhat steep and less enjoyable terrain, but I suppose that's par for the course in the bustling Medina.

We loved staying at this beautiful riad and would recommend it to anyone that’s staying in Fes. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Our room, as well as the whole riad, was very pretty and gave off true Moroccan vibes.
