Every morning started with a great Moroccan breakfast, which was filling and fresh. The breakfast came with a beautiful view of the medina. I recommend catching the sunrise or sunset on top of the hotel. Sunset with call for prayer is a surreal experience.

My son (12 years old) and I stayed 3 nights at Dar Naima and we were really sorry to leave so quickly. The location is excellent, in the middle of the old Medina of Fès, next to one of the main arteries, but at the same time in a quiet place. It is a family house, with a lot of soul, very old, but in excellent condition. The entire interior, as well as the room where we slept, is spacious, but also charming, cozy, comfortable. Including the terrace, which is superb, huge, with different spaces to use, with an amazing 360º view of the Medina and beyond. The service is great, discreet and efficient, cleanliness is good. But, the best... I still haven't mentioned the best! :))) The owner, Hannan. Discreetly warm and very attentive, she was always available and amazingly helpful from the 1st to the last minute of our stay. Hannan seems to have a very fine sensitivity to understand the needs, purposes and way of being of those in front of her, to which she adjusts with elegance, thus becoming the best hostess we could have found. Hannan was always present when she was needed, but she also always knew to preserve our space and our private moments. She is communicative and made great suggestions, always useful and relevant, but without ever becoming pushy, quite the opposite. In her riad, we were always comfortable, at ease, free and, above all, peaceful. It was our 1st visit to Morocco and, thanks to her, we were able to address all doubts with great tranquility. Everything that initially seemed to us to be eventually difficult to solve, turned, after talking to her, into something with an easy and very accessible solution. Hannan seems to get along great with her neighborhood and, from what I understand, she knows the right people who can optimally solve any need we may have while visiting Fès (and even if we want to visit somewhere outside of Fès).

(continuing the good comments ;) ... I have to mention what made us almost cry with joy: the meals Hannan prepared for us! Wonderful food, at the same time homemade and refined, absolutely tasty and balanced, in doses that leave us delighted :P We will never forget those evening dinners on the terrace, after a tiring day exploring Fés. Thank you very much for everything, dear Hannan. We really want to return to Dar Naima, which has become one of our best and most grateful memories of Fès.

Stayed on 26th Nov 2023 for 2 nights in the Centre of Medina Fes which I love to experience the locals. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay in Fes and what a surprise ... on our second day Abrahim which he welcomed us, is a very nice, humble and dedicated person, upgraded the room and we were so surprised for the detail in this upgraded room. I deeply wish to thank Abrahim and his staff for the effort in this. I will treasure the memories for life. The big breakfast at the roof top was amazing with amazing tranquil views. The rooms were very clean, very quiet and comfortable with heated water. Location is the best in Fes. Thank you Abrahim for helping us with the luggages and for the amazing rooms. We appreciate all with a smile.

Dar Naima is a comfortable, traditional Riad, will lots of personality reflected in it's style, staff and location. The medina can be tricky to navigate but with the Riad located on a central street, it's easy to find once you get the hang of your surroundings. The staff went over and above to make my stay enjoyable with local recommendations, adding an extra bed when family stayed and giving me an early breakfast when I was fasting. By the end of my stay it was like a second home which I really appreciated. The terrace also has a phenomenal view. Highly recommend and would stay again.

My only recommendation would be the addition of a few hangers for coats but that's pretty much it

Hanane was very friendly and her breakfast was delicious!

The location of the property was not clear. We had to stop several times to ask for directions since it was all walking. At the dar, there are many stairs and I have problems with my knees. It was very difficult for me to go all these steps up and down at least twice a day. I wish it was mentioned under the property description so that people with physical problems like me can make a better decision choosing the location.

The stay was perfect for us. Big, clean, traditional and nice room. The bathroom was a little bit small, but it is a traditional building so I guess its just the space they have (but this was not a problem for us). The terrace is very nice, view over media, superb to have breakfast and dinner. They were very nice and helped us with everything. I recommend Dar Naima. Very nice and safe stay! Easy to find from The Blue Gate. Thank you again!

Everything was perfect for us!

The accommodation requires guests to be dropped at one of the carparks surrounding the old town however a porter service is available and can be arranged via the host at a cost. It also provides security if arraiving or departing in the small hours as the souk alleys are empty and dark to and from the carpark for transport. The host is very friendly and helpful and can arrange tours around the souk and to the tannery and other requirements of guests. The room size was generous with good facilities. I enjoyed my stay here.

The host was very welcoming and helpful with everything and very easy to communicate with. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was very nice as they offered some cooked eggs as well for those who prefer more protein in their food (in addition to typical bread and jam). The host offered to change the room when they discovered that the AC didn't work. The bathroom had doors, yayy In some Moroccan dars and riads they don't have doors for the bathrooms, so be ready to share your toilet deeds with your roommate.

In the beginning, we were a bit confused because of the many doors and staircases possibly leading to our room, so we got lost more than once, haha. Maybe some signs on the walls would be useful for those with bad memory. The AC problem could have been fixed before accepting the guests but in the end it wasn't a big problem as the room was cool enough without it.

The Terras had an amazing view, the staff were hospitable and nice especially Brahim. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling.

The bathroom that came with the room was small and had a door that is equipped with see-through glass. Which means that it wasn't blurry enough and u could see the other person inside it.

Amazing breakfast with an amazing view over the whole medina. The owner was very helpful, cooks amazingly and arranged us the best experience: a local Hammam, with a massage in the room. Truly recommend if you want to have the real experience in Fes.

The bathroom could be cleaner and more well prepared. The room had an amazing but you wake up early with sunrise, directly in the window, so if you want to sleep in, maybe try another room.
