We had issue with parking and someone we thought was from hotel grabbed our luggage in a cart and took it for us and then demanded money There is a secure car park right across the road which is the same price as the place they say to park so they can get extra cash

My review of Riad Palais Nazha Fes can only be overwhelmingly positive. The Riad is absolutely charming, with a stunning and strategic location right in the heart of the medina. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive to every need. The executive room I was given felt like something straight out of the 1001 Nights, truly a dream! The terrace is both beautiful and relaxing; I spent a wonderful evening there, enjoying a glass of wine. Breakfast was thoughtful and tailored to guests’ needs, with great attention to detail. I spent two fantastic nights at the Riad, rested well, and was able to fully enjoy the beauty of Fes. A special mention goes to Janati Ahmed, a very kind and attentive young man who went out of his way to assist me, especially yesterday, when he arranged a last-minute guide for the day. He is the perfect representative of the warmth and beauty of both the Riad and the city itself. A heartfelt thank you to Janati Ahmed; you were truly outstanding.

The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and provided a cozy, comfortable environment for our stay. I was especially impressed with the stunning terrace view — a perfect spot to relax and take in the sights of the city. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and Ahmed, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and ensured our stay was seamless. His attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request made a huge difference.

First, the hotel is very difficult to find. Our driver spent quite a bit of time driving around because his GPS couldn’t locate the entrance. We were fortunate that the staff came out to guide us in, but it was a bit frustrating. Part of the issue seems to be that the first image on Google Maps is misleading — it’s not the actual entrance to the hotel, which only added to the confusion. Another downside is the location. The hotel is a bit far from the Medina, which meant it was a longer walk to explore the heart of the city. While it’s not a dealbreaker, it’s worth considering if you want to be closer to the main attractions.

This property and staff exceeded my expectations, when I arrived Ahmed was gracious enough to. provide me with background information pertaining to the property, being a Historian, I truly appreciated this. Ahmed also made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay, there was a couple of days, I was not feeling well and he made sure to check in with me I felt like one of the family. The other individual who left me with a lasting impression is Mouhsine he served most of my meals and was so on point with the service he delivered. He also checked on me when I was a little under the weather and encouraged me to eat something. I felt like my uncles were taking care of me at this hotel. If you are thinking about staying here do not hesitate and book, I forgot to mention that their tangine with morrocan salad is amazing.

All the staff team is very polite and helpful, which help the luggage porter from car park to the raid and lobby up to room as the stairs in the raid is really steep and narrow. Confirmation of everyday breakfast time and check-in/out time will be done through WhatsApp which is very convenient. Fresh orange juice is the best provided in breakfast. You may ask for more like extra egg/ drink if you are not full enough. Euro is preferred to use in raid but MAD is also welcome. But better prepare different amount of MAD for the bill as they don’t have much for changes, though they try hard to find changes elsewhere in the medina neighbourhood.

The bathroom has unpleasant odour which comes from the floor sewage, and the smell spreads into the room. We try open the bathroom window to ventilate the air but no use.

We had an exceptional stay at this Riad and were truly impressed by its stunning architecture and charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect; right at the entrance of the Medina so it’s easily accessible without a long walk. Ahmed and Abdelhaq were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and making us feel right at home. They shared great insights about Fez and Moroccan cuisine, adding a personal touch to our experience. I was renting a car during our trip, and Abdelhaq went above and beyond by noticing one of my tires was flat and helping me fix it; truly appreciated! Both of them were attentive, kind, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Breakfast was great, with fresh food served every morning. We especially enjoyed the variety of egg options including one with tomatoes (called “matisha”)—as well as the dried meat (khlii’) and cheese. I can’t recommend this Riad highly enough. If you’re planning a trip to Fez, this is the place to stay; you won’t regret it!

We had a truly wonderful stay, and we’re so grateful to Zanib and Ahmed for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome, cared for, and completely at home. We visited during the low tourist season and were generously upgraded to a stunning room with an absolutely magnificent high ceiling, beautifully decorated with traditional details that reflected the rich heritage of the hotel and area. Ahmed kindly shared the history of the building and the neighborhood, which gave our visit a much deeper sense of place and meaning. We also had a delicious dinner at the hotel—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care. The entire team was attentive and helpful, even assisting with our luggage upon arrival. The room was cool and comfortable (the AC went down to 16°C, a welcome relief!), and we felt both safe and well cared for throughout our stay. This was by far the best value hotel we experienced during our time in Morocco. A perfect combination of comfort, culture, and warmth—we would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay.

Stayed in Fez for two nights. Before my arrival, Ahmed did a great job of keeping in touch with me and making sure my arrival was smooth. He communicated with my tour guide and made sure we got the riad safely and comfortably. Fez can be difficult to navigate because its so big but Ahmed was always available incase we got lost or had difficulty navigating. He was our main point of contact and did a phenomenal job.

My only difficulty was that the riad was a bit of a distance away from the blue gate, which is the entrance to the main market area. But Ahmed and Mousin did a great job of explaining the location to us, helping us find a taxi and finding our way back.

The location is convenient, the rooms large and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best we had a Morrocan riad so far. Very fresh, warm bread and made-to-order eggs. The food service was also impeccably clean. The two staff that we interacted with most -- Ahmed and Mohammed -- were wonderful. Both of them took extra efforts to make our stay comfortable, including making breakfast early to accomodate our schedule. Ahmed was especially helpful throughout our stay. He carried our heavg luggages all around and even walked us out of the medina to meet our driver at the end of our stay. It was also very easy to communicate with Ahmed before and even after our stay!

The only issue we had was the smell of sewage in our bathroom from what we assume was a plumbing problem.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff and especially Ahmed were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. One thing that really stood out was how helpful the front desk with the arrangement of the early breakfast because we had tours to attend to and the help we received when we needed a taxi and no taxi was accepting us. They arranged everything quickly and made sure I got to my destination on time without any hassle. It’s those little touches that really make a difference. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and especially if it's your first time in Fes!
