The interior courtyard and room had beautiful tiles and looked very grand and opulent. It is 350 years old with original tiling and design. The rooms were very clean, we stayed for 2 nights. It had ample space (2 pax in a triple room) and had a mini refrigerator. Beds are nice and comfy. The manager, Taha goes the extra mile to escort you to and from transport, and can also arrange for people to bring you around from one point to another. Also shout out to the kitchen staff who kindly helped us with cooking instant noods!

The building's history manifests in its amenities, such as the toilet door being stuck and very difficult to open/close. The area directly outside it may be difficult to navigate if you have a pram or big luggages. However this is also reflected in most of the medina I think. Breakfast was okay, nothing to shout about. Simple bread, tea, jam and butter, set in the beautiful courtyard/restaurant space.

The Riad is very beautiful, typical and well located. Rooms are fully equipped, food is very good and staff is kind and h24 available. They supported me in all details of my stay, without being any invasive. In particular, the staff components Tahan and Marwan really deserve my gratitude.

The first day my room was a bit noisy, but once I noticed it to the staff, they moved me immediatly to another very quiet and silent room. Any issue or question was addressed timely and successfully.

The Riad has a restaurant which we truly love the food. It’s quiet pricey but worth and suite my palate. The staffs were really helpful and polite especially Marwan. He never missed answering my queries. The Riad is stunning and our room is absolutely beautiful. It’s also located inside the medina.

The shower pipe is broken during our stay. Climbing up to the Riad is quiet challenging if you have heavy luggages since it’s a little uphill. However, tou can ask help from the staff.

Amazing Stay at Riad Ouliya! I had an incredible experience staying at Riad Ouliya in Fes. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the medina, making it easy to explore all the main sights on foot. Our stay at Riad Ouliya was nothing short of exceptional, and a big part of that was thanks to the incredible help we received from Marwan and Otoman. These two went above and beyond to make our experience stress-free and enjoyable. When we arrived, they kindly carried all our luggage through the winding streets of the medina, allowing my wife to stay with our baby without any worry. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a huge difference for us. The riad itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but it’s the people like Marwan and Otoman who truly make it special. This Riat is beautiful, clean, and well located but the best part are the staff. Taha was an amazing host, always in touch about our needs, serving us amazing food and extremely caring, kind and welcoming. The best part of Morocco is the people and Taha, Maruan and the rest of the staff at Riat Ouliya make you want to come back to Morocco to experience true kindness, attentiveness, care, delicious food and amazing sights and experiences. I can’t recommend this Riat enough both for the hotel stays and even more for the delicious food and service of the staff!

This riad is decorated with the most beautiful zellige tile walls and floors, and intrically carved cedar wood doors and banisters. Big rooms, also with zellige tiles and carved wood finishings. You feel like you're staying in a palace. The owner clearly has great respect for Morocco's artisinal heritage and the interior alone is worth staying here. The manager Mustafa is very kind. He was very accommodating with everything we needed and was very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were also very tasty. Definitely recommend staying here.

The shower works, and the water is nice and hot, but the fixtures could use a repair. Also doesn't drain very well.

The place is really also the room they gave us even if it was very small. They also sent us a pickup from the hotel. Reali much appreciated, plus Fahd was so kindly and welcoming and he also made us reservation for dinner and took us home by car. Outstanding hospitality.

Nothing about the Riad or the people but just to be helpful for other travelers the location of the Riad for us was really difficult to manage. In fact we got lost 100 times to navigate the Medina from there and never managed to reach the 'central street' to the Blue Gate

The riadh is absolutely beautiful! Lovely courtyard, authentic and has been renovated in a loving caring way. The owner was super nice and welcomed us many times, explained how to find sights in Fez, gave general information. Also the man at the desk was very nice and made us feel at home. The room was lovely, big bed, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lovely view from the terrace over the city! We enjoyed sitting and drinking tea there with a view over the city. The breakfast was tasty and we had a Friday couscous meal which was delicious, I recommend it! This lovely place is a real find and you will enjoy it! We will be back if we ever return to Fez!

they react fast about our request view from Terasse was good can pay with PayPal location was very Center in Medina, but you need to park 10 min away due to the general parking problem of Fes, since you can not drive in Fes Medina.

the room on first floor was direkt behind a door of the restaurant, not so nice if someone is having dinner or breakfast. the room smells especially bathroom due to no window, and part of the shower water stays in the bathroom if you don’t clean it with a special tool. on second day we change room to the terasse, it was good with window, but the shower hot water was not continuously supplied, it stopped all of sudden and Continue if you wait for seconds. overall the facilities need to be well maintained.
