Our stay at the riad rcif was nothing short of extraordinary. The architecture is absolutely stunning. Every corner of the riad exudes charm and elegance. The staff deserve a special mention for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience possible. One of the highlights of our trip was also a great example of the service. We went on a guided trip and stopped at a tannery. While we had done some research beforehand on pricing, negotiating there was quite challenging and we ended up being overcharged significantly, despite our guide assuring us we had gotten a good deal. When we returned to the riad and shared our experience, the owner and his team immediately offered their help. They went above and beyond to assist us in getting our money back and took us to a store they personally frequent for their own purchases. Not only did they help us negotiate a much better price, but the owner’s brother also arranged for someone to accompany us to ensure we received a fair, local price. Their dedication and willingness to help, even though they had no obligation to do so, was absolutely remarkable and made our stay unforgettable. While most people and place would have simply said “oh we’re so sorry to hear that it happened to you”, Abdel and his team chose to go above and beyond to assist us and safeguard our interests. If this weren’t pure kindness, then I don’t know what is. We highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Morocco.

The entire stay was excellent and exceeded expectations. The room was magnificant, the beds very comfortable (I appreciated the choice of harder or softer pillows). The breakfast was wonderful with an amazing view from the beautiful roof terrace. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate us.
We liked everything. It might be hard to reach the riad if you have limited mobility as the streets of the medina can be narrow steep and uneven, so it may not be suitable for everyone, but this is the case throughout the old medina in Fes and for us it was part of the charm of staying here.

This fabulous hotel is well worth a visit. Situated in the very heart of the ancient Medina in Fes and accessed via a maze of tiny streets from the Rcif gate into the old city. There is a real wow moment when the door into the Riad opens to reveal its central courtyard lined with traditional tiles, lamps and furniture as well as trailng exotic plants. We ate both nights at the rooftop restaurant. The food was an excellent selection of local dishes from soups and salads to cous cous and tagines all made with food bought fresh from the Medina markets. A good selection of Moroccan wines was available. The breakfasts were also traditional and excellent. The owner, Noor, and his polite and efficient team couldn't do enough for us, organising transfers and tours. A perfect base for exploring this fascinating city. We would love to stay again....
It was perfect...

Family Riad Rcif has a great view, great location near Medina Market, Has a history to die for. The detail in everything is something you just have to come and see. The beds are clean and super comfortable. My room is like from a fairly tail and I slept like a queen. And the rest of the staff were super accomodating, welcoming, respectful, helpful and they have lots of connections to get us what we needed or where we wanted to go. We did notice tourists that were really rude and unreasonable, my jaw dropped. They really work relentlessly for you, to make you feel at home during your stay. Be a good tourist. I really appreciate you so much. Thank you for everything.

This Riad was absolutely incredible, it was so sumptuous with its mosaics and atmosphere, totally beautiful. Also the Hamman and massage by Jihane and Fati was fabulous! Can highly recommend .
It was a long way into the Medina but well worth it when you got there!

Beautifully decorated riad and staff were happy to help. Food and drink service was performed like you would expect at a quality restaurant. Plenty of food for breakfast too.
The only (minor) thing was that, at times, there was washing hung out in plain view and laundered towels piled up in one of the sitting areas.

Fantastic amenities. Great staff & atmosphere, especially the soft oriental instrumental music continuously playing in the background. The views from the roof terrace were phenomenal. Hard to beat this riad especially considering how cheap it was.

An incredible stay, fabulous host, wonderful food and beautiful riad in the old city next to the Medina. A former Pasha mansion turned into a beautiful Riad made to perfection by the owners who takes pride in his Fes heritage. The Riad has a few spacious indulging private suites, a beautiful courtyard and a terrace. The restaurant in the courtyard serves exquisite breakfast lunch and dinner. Mr Salim mission is to give his guests a perfect experience sharing with them his knowledge about the history and culture of his city. He will provide you with tips and help on how to get around, negotiate taxi fare, bargain and all your travel needs and wants and will recommend a travel agency which will provide you with a guide, car and itinerary for excursions and other destination but after spending time in the Riad you will not want to leave.

A beautiful Riad with a 5 star rooftop and view! Would recommend booking a guide on day one to help get your bearings as the Medina is a maze. In terms of dining, breakfast is generous and delicious! Dinner is slightly pricey compared to neighbouring restaurants but considering the ease and taste would definitely recommend dining in at least once! The hammam spa offering is again slightly pricey and functional (basic steam room) but still enjoyable after a long day exploring. Most importantly Noor and the team were incredibly helpful and could not do enough to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and that made our stay extra special.
It is truly a lovely hotel - only recommendations would be to make the spa experience longer than 45 minutes to match the price charged and it would be a nice touch to offer complimentary water bottles rather than charging for them as the tap water is not recommended.
