We’ve had a great stay at the Riad Lalla Merieme where we stayed for 4 nights. The location is perfect and you can walk from there to all the main sites in the Medina - a bit tricky to find the first time as we didn’t have internet on our phone so make sure you check before arriving if you don’t. However it is down a very cosy street! The staff are very friendly - you very much feel at home from the moment you arrive. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean with direct access to the terrace - the bed was really comfy and we both slept really well! The breakfast was very good and very copious with delicious Moroccan tea. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Marrakech!

We stayed on the top floor with a lovely view out onto the public balcony area. The traditional Moroccan decor was a nice touch. The Riad felt very homely, and katya the cat was very friendly. Mohammed looked after us for the most part of the stay and was very professional and attentive to all of our needs. Customer service was exceptional. Breakfast was also delicious!

Our room did not have an en suite meaning we had to walk outside in order to get to the bathroom which being in January it was rather cold during the night. The bed could do with more/softer pillows as they felt slightly uncomfortable.

I stayed there for 4 nights in Dec 2024. The hosts were accomodating and allowed a late checkin around 11.30 pm. The Riad looks as good as the pictures on Booking.com site. I was given the largest room which is spacious & decorated to high standards. The Riad and my room was neat and clean, My room was serviced daily, an experience I didn't have in other Riads I stayed before. As it was cold Mohammad switched on the Aircon at 29 degress celcius which gave the same effect of a heated room. He also gave me helpful tips on local sight seeing. The breakfast was continental and he was felxible to accomadate my early morning breakfast requests. Mohamad & Marium were warm and hospitrable hosts. I had an excellent stay at the Riad.

Location is just perfect, within walking distance to Medina and yet far enough from the bustle! Hospitality is brilliant, both Merieme and her team just attends to your requests so kindly and with a smile. The place is clean and spanky; the terrace is a nice place to unwind if one wanted!

The size of the room, perhaps the smallest we have come across in our holidays (We suspect we had the smallest of the room in Riad) - There is no place to keep the suitcases and the almirah (cupboard) provided is quite small too. The shower cubicle is tiny and water pressure is so less, temperature difficult to adjust - We struggled with the shower. Again could only be down to our room, not sure. The charging points/sockets are not in convenient places, and hidden behind the side stools.

I spent a lot of time looking for a riad to stay when in Marrakesh and I am very glad to have chosen this one. It is a very clean, cosy place with caring staff. The location is perfect if you are looking for a less busy area in the centre. Breakfast was very tasty. The room was cleaned daily.

We did our research on tours and restaurants before arriving, so did not need any recommendations. If you do, keep in mind that the staff speaks only basic English.

Absolutely gorgeous moroccan style, with a lot of attention to detail. Just the stay is an experience. Very helpful staff and a friendly but well behaved cat as a bonus! Also, be sure to check out the rooftop terrace. The location in the historical Kasbah district is also great - there is e.g. a huge fixed-price souvenir store nearby and lots of streetfood, even a supermarket.

Everything was ok. Still, some of the facilities could use a more thorough technical maintenance. It is necessary to adapt to the fact the bathroom has a curtain rather than a door and is rather small.

In all honesty, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I can confidently say that there is nothing negative to report. Every aspect of my encounter, whether it be the accommodation, service, or overall atmosphere, has been consistently favourable. From the warm and attentive staff to the well-maintained facilities, I have received nothing but positive impressions. It's rare to encounter an experience where every element aligns seamlessly, but in this case, I can genuinely express my satisfaction. This absence of negative aspects has significantly contributed to making my overall experience exceptionally enjoyable and stress-free.

We stayed for 1 week. Overall, the facilities were clean. They clean the whole riad everyday and clean/tidy your room with fresh towels everyday. Nice view from rooftop and good chilling spot. A lot of sitting areas. Good aesthetics. Staffs were very friendly, very helpful and generous. We also received a warm welcome. I requested a birthday surprise for my partner prior on coming and they did absolutely incredible job at it! Thank you Nahid and the lovely lady there! Nice breakfast - the tea was amazing! It is also near Jemal el Fna 10mins or so walk & a lot of souks and museums near by so the location was excellent. There is also near by atm and shop to exhange money around the riad on the Main Street. Easy to find taxi near by etc. I would recommend them!

It was hard to find at the start as the riad is hidden between streets. I messaged through booking and they responded immediately and Nahid came to rescue us! The area may be overwhelming to first timers in Morroco/Marrakesh as the riad is surrounded by locals and souks and a lot of vehicles especially motorcycles🤣

Great, friendly and welcoming staff! Sincere and happy to help. Cosy atmosphere and walking distance from the streets of the medina. The room was cleaned daily.

The rooms were not soundproofed. In my case it didn't matter, because I was travelling alone. On the last morning I noticed a bug on the bed, probably a rice weevil.

The staff were massively nice and helpful. Host was great/very friendly and Muhammed was very helpful and kind to us, lady staff was also nice. Riad being at the city centre made it easy for us to navigate the city. Breakfast was sumptuous. No regrets

WiFi was quite weak. We also experienced some drainage issue which was fixed after complaining.
