A beautiful riad in a very central location. Just a few minutes walk to Jama el fnaa . Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic- Suliman made us so welcome- and ran up and down three flights of stairs with energy and good humour to deliver our food. Everything was clean and well maintained- the rooms even have hairdryers which is unusual in Morocco

Tiny negative was the sheets- bottom sheet was too small for the mattress and we woke up every morning tangled in sheets and sleeping on the bare mattress, which was a bit yeuk considering how hot it was when we visited

Location and breakfast was really good. Very helpful staff. The staffs of Riad Mackech are wonderful, Souliman and his team were very warm, attentive and friendly, and were very eager to make sure we had a good stay. Breakfast on the terrace was just great addition to the service.

No window in our room. Some of the rooms have windows. When you book rooms make sure they give you a room with a window, if you prefer a room with it. Other than that we had a good stay.

Beautiful Riad in a great location! Very easy access to the Riad so you’re able to get dropped off very close to it. It is also very close to Djemaa El Fna and the many souks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Suleiman greeted us with mint tea and then let us choose which room we preferred out of a few available! The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing and one of the best breakfasts offered by the many Riad’s we stayed at. We had to leave very early on our last day and Suleiman prepared us a breakfast to go! We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

The lighting fixtures in the rooms are beautiful, however, the downside is the lighting is very dim. It was fine for two days but if I were to stay longer I would need brighter lighting.

Everything about our stay at Riad Makech was perfect. The location is ideal—tucked away in the medina but easy to find and close to the main attractions. The riad itself is stunning: beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with lovely traditional touches. The rooftop terrace is a peaceful oasis with amazing views—perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Marrakech. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They offered great tips for exploring the city and helped arrange transport when needed. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely exceptional stay at Riad Makech! The place is spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully decorated, with an amazing terrace that’s perfect for relaxing after a day in the Medina. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Selaiman. From the moment we arrived, Selaiman was warm, polite, and always ready to help with anything we needed. He went above and beyond throughout our stay, offering great advice and making us feel genuinely welcome. We had an early flight and had to leave the riad at 4 AM — and to our surprise, Selaiman was already up, smiling as always. He had prepared fresh coffee, juice, and even packed us a breakfast to take with us to the airport. That small gesture alone speaks volumes about his kindness and dedication. Honestly, he is the most polite and thoughtful person we’ve ever met during our travels, and staying at Riad Makech is worth it for his hospitality alone. We’re incredibly grateful and will definitely return. Thank you, Selaiman!

Everything was perfect!

The Riad is very beautiful, especially the view of the mosque you get from the terrace… you can’t put a price on breakfast and sunset with such a view. The room was very comfortable and clean, with daily room service. The bathroom was small but perfectly ok for a weekly stay. The breakfast was great, and it was also nice to be able to have some tea in the afternoon to cool off from the busy streets of Marrakech. Special mention to Selaiman who was very nice, friendly and also helpful. He always ready and willing to help with whatever we needed. Our stay would not have been the same without him :) . We also befriended a cat in the terrace and Selaiman was nice enough to have committed to feed her while we are gone.

Excellent location, great breakfast and sunny roof terrace. Rooms were a good size and well maintained and kept very clean throughout our stay. There was a large TV and good facilities, bed linen was excellent quality. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful throughout. Offered good recommendations on where to visit in Marrakech and surrounding areas

Although room was a good size, with comfortable bed , there was no window except in the bathroom. Slightly high price than what I was expecting for Morocco but would stay again

I stayed at Riad Kech for four nights and felt completely at home. The staff made my stay incredibly special, particularly Soukaina and Mohammad for their kindness, and Chef Saida for her incredible and tasty breakfasts. The room was super clean and cozy, and the location of the riad is just perfect—close to the main attractions with plenty of restaurants and markets around.I definitely recommend Riad Kech, especially for its outstanding staff. Even the owner, Mr. Said, was friendly and helpful; he spoke to the driver and gave him directions when I called. Thank you to the entire team of Riad Kech for making our stay remarkable.

Everything was perfect

Everything. The service we got was best. Seleiman was so helpful in any way. After several failing riads in Marrakech this one finally met our expectations. It was clean, amazing breakfast, we had a quiet room. It was cla an every day. The stairs going up are comfortable also for older people. Rooftop is nice it’s 5 min walk to Medina and public transportation. The ladies preparing our breakfast and cleaning the room were so nice. Seleiman the manager did the most to make our stay enjoyable . Thank you so much for great service and amazing stay. Highly recommendable Ps Riad is located in quiet street no noise and excellent sleep .

Everything was perfect

The personnel was lovely and made our stay very pleasent. They helped us with charging our sim Cards and a lot of questions regarding marrakesh and excursions. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough for us. The rooms were nice and had an A/C which was great for the hoter days/nights. There is an outdoor seating area on the second floor and a roof terrace with a nice view over the city, especially in the evening! Additionally there is a pool which served as a nice refresher. The Riad is located about 5-10 min walkway from Djemaa el-Fna and the souks and about 5 min from bahia palace. Due to this I felt like it was a bit quieter at night :)

The lights in the room and bathroom were a bit dim. The doors and windows aren't soundproof, so I would recommend using some sort of earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
