breakfast was good - nice location on terrace - we also enjoyed the fact that unlike a hotel self service it was very local - choice of eggs fresh orange some fruit and local fresh bread and pancakes with jams - mint tea and coffee. it was tasty and enough for a good start to the day. two days we were out early but we arranged that something was left for us in the kitchen for our journey. breakfast is from 9 - 10:30 so you can locally walk the souk to see the set up and return easily for breakfast if you want to get up early. the manageress was excellent as were the two ladies who cook and clean. good little brochure on the souk with maps - Maella knew and guided us as to what to see - information in the location is poor for tourists so her knowledge was invaluable. we missed out on seeing a garden some 30k out but that's because we hadn't seen her early on to say what things we liked. I loved location although initially finding the place was a challenge I think that's part of the experience - once there there are excellent signposts and again Maella had sent photos to follow. it was also easy to get to a trip pick up for get your guide. very soothing feel about the whole environment. lastly the Riad took us in early and our room was available at 12: 00 a huge bonus the cleaner and her son made us mint tea and gave us a lovely welcome while we waited Maella terrace was a bonus we did not use the pool but that also looked a relaxing area and the yoga sounded a tranquil experience

I think the only thing I would comment on was that there was a great first night pack of tea coffee water but that we had misunderstood this to be replaceable - there was kettle and we bought some coffee/tea which we hadn't anticipated but got easily.

I can highly recommend this RIAD. We stayed in this RIAD as a family of 4 adults in 3 rooms over Christmas and had a fantastic time. The RIAD is beautifully decorated, with a lovely sunny roof top terrace. The rooms are large, beds comfortable and bathrooms great. It’s in a really good location, quiet and peaceful yet walking distance to most of the tourist sites. The host, Maella, is wonderful and really takes care of her guests. She knows the best restaurants and tours and organized an unforgettable dinner for us in the Agafay desert on Christmas day, going as far as arranging for one of our party who is a musician, to play with a Berber band. It’s a small RIAD with just a handful of staff who are all warm and friendly. Just book it, you will not be disappointed.

Nothing to add, we liked everything

My stay at this riad was nothing short of magical. Tucked away close to the heart of the bustling Marrakech medina, the riad felt like a serene oasis, offering a perfect escape from the city’s vibrant energy. The beautifully designed spaces, with their traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comforts, made me feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was not only comfortable but immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. What truly set this riad apart, however, was Maëlla, the incredible host. She went above and beyond to ensure everyone had everything they needed. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending the best local spots, or quickly solving any issue that arose, she handled everything with grace, speed, and a smile. Her warm hospitality made the experience unforgettable, and I felt truly cared for during my entire stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable retreat in Marrakech, this riad is an absolute gem. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

It was so peaceful here, after our trips into the city. The rooms were beautifully furnished with fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace to include a delicious glass of fresh orange juice. Maella was very attentive and could not have been more helpful. The 2 ladies who cooked breakfast and cleaned the rooms on a daily basis, were very charming and always smiling. We loved it at this Riad. We had booked 2 rooms, I had travelled with my son and his fiancé for his 30th birthday.

Struggling to find something!

Maella & the staff were F****ing AMAZING! Can I cuss here? Oh well, brilliant team. The location was great, and we walked many places within the Medina. The Riad has 5 rooms, and it is so peaceful to return to from the busy streets. The Raid rooftop was my favourite; if you want a chilled evening, it's the place to be. TIP. If you want this kind of evening without going out, pick up some wine or whatever alcohol you like from duty-free. It's a clean, peaceful, beautiful Riad with the most gracious, helpful, and caring team. Oh, and along with the rooftop, drinks, and all that, you can request Maella to have a Tagine made for you, 24 hrs advance notice is needed. I had the beef and lamb, and I no longer have fingerprints from licking my fingers. J'adore Jay Jay

An oasis of quiet and tranquillity. This amazing riad is placed in the old medina, close to everything you need and want. Super clean and welcoming. Maëlla, the manager is an absolute star. Not only she made sure we have a wonderful staying, but also recommended us the best places to visit and eat and organised transport every time. Bonus, she designs and creates jewellery, so when there have a look at her collections, they are gorgeous:) The two ladies that cleans and cooks are lovely as well and very helpful. Very grateful for meeting such good people and experience beautiful Marrakesh.

A fridge is needed in the room:)

The Riad was absolutely beautiful, featuring stunning tiles and charming traditional details. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of drinks and freshly made omelets. We stayed in the rooftop terrace room, which was lovely and came with a nice view that we enjoyed each evening. Despite the busy atmosphere of central Marrakech, the Riad was a peaceful and quiet retreat where we could relax and rest. Also Maella, the owner of Riad was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the Riad Palau for two nights and it was a pleasant surprise, exceeding all our expectations. The Riad is very well located inside the Medina; it’s at the same time charming, cozy and elegantly decorated. Maella is a wonderful hostess, and she was always available for whatever we needed. She also gave us excellent tips on how to enjoy the city. We must also highlight the kindness, dedication and professionalism of the entire Riad team. Finally, we have to say that the breakfast was really delicious and varied. We would definitely go back there :)

The property is spotless and location is excellent. The host is fantastic and very welcoming and accommodating. I think the better rooms have better beds, but we booked late and these rooms were not available. Staff is fantastic and breakfast is excellent. It's a great value for the money and great overall.

the bed was too hard and not very comfortable.

We have just spent one week in this beautiful riad. It is so calm and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Maella and her two staff are friendly and helpful .The place is spotlessly clean and breakfast was plentiful.

Arriving the first night when it was dark down back alleys was a new experience but behind every door in Marrakech is something of beauty. The alleyways are very normal and the people are so friendly.
