The view from my room was something you can only dream about. My bed faced an enormous round window, the size of a wall, that looked directly out onto a green lawn and the sea 20m away. I could have spent my entire holiday just looking out at that view. The room itself was spacious with a desk area, tea, coffee and hot chocolate replenished daily as well as a refrigerator. The bathroom was outstanding by any standard. It was huge, a gorgeous deep bath, lovely shower with lots of hot water, a big vanity with two basins and a dressing area with mirror. There was also a great private balcony overlooking the sea. The restaurant was closed while I was there but the menu looked really good. Breakfast was included and it was short of nothing. Everything you could possibly want for breakfast was there, from smoothies to fruit salad and yogurts, assortment of breads including fresh banana bread, cereals, fruit juices and a very good menu of cooked breakfasts

I really can’t think of anything that could have been better. The staff were so welcoming and warm, the facilities were excellent and the view is something I will always miss. I don’t have a bad word to say about this wonderful lodge.

The Food was absolutely Exceptionally Superb All Staff are extremely friendly and helpful The View is absolutely Beautiful They made a plan for us first timers to help us with a double mattress instead of having 2x single beds.

That we as first time visitors did not know you have to pre-book meals due to the high quality and full bookings. Guests should have first option and be informed to book ahead. It was NO FUN to drive around on Christmas Day '23 looking for a place to have a decent Christmas Lunch. In the end we took a chance and walked into Altstad Restaurant who was also fully booked but they made a plan and we could enjoy absolute delicious food on Christmas.

I had an amazing stay at the Beach Lodge. The location is perfect , right on the beach, with stunning ocean views. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was such a treat. The hotel is impeccably clean and staff incredibly friendly and welcoming .There is also a restaurant and bistro on site and the mall is within walking distance. This has become my new favourite hotel and I can't wait to return!

The view was breath-taking, I spent hours on the balcony looking over to the waves on the beach, it is a brilliant place to stay. We stayed there for 2 nights, but had to add another because it was wonderful. The room was super clean, bathroom excellent and the view was amazing. Breakfast menu was mouth-watering and very filling, where we had breakfast as well had a great view. Very refreshed.

We left the hotel around 12noon and came back to find that our room wasn't cleaned as the staff had knocked off on the Sunday, so we came back to find our room uncleaned. For the amount of money we paid per night for the luxury room, things like ironing shouldn't come with an extra charge, every item of clothing you wanted ironed was charged.

Great beach hotel. It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.

Decor could be updated -- but really, its all good.

Loved the big porthole windows! We stayed in the smaller of the two sides of the hotel had a wonderful deck overlooking the lawn to the south Atlantic. We had reservations our first night at the Wreck, the hotels on site restaurant, because it was (supposedly) rated the best restaurant in Swakopmund. It did not disappoint, food was outstanding! Service very good, and they did a good job with the drinks! Hotel essentially lies on the north side of town and there’s probably a 10 to 15 minute drive to the center of Swakopmund , the old town. We also tried a “German” restaurant (Altstadt) in town- food was bland at best, and did not much care for the atmosphere regardless of what most of the reviewers said. Also, if you know German food and enjoy German food, you’ll be very disappointed with that restaurant! We should’ve eaten that night also at the Wreck!

Loved the spaciousness of our room! Nice California king size bed, huge bathroom, great shower, nice, small deck off our bedroom, and a wonderful writing desk with a view out to the ocean plus a refrigerator! 

The location was fantastic right on the beach with wondeful views of sunset from our room. The breakfast was great and excellent views of the sea. The hotel felt very private the staff were very friendly and helpful. We walking along the beach for some distance which was lovely.

There are no resturants nearby (as the hotel resturant was closed because it was a sunday) so we needed to drive to the other side of town which took some time.

At a very good location, with an amazing view rooms, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff is always in an effort to increase your comfort. You can find all the attraction ( All tours and activities) arrangements in Beach Lodge with the assist of hotel staff. Food especially dinner is so diverse and delicious.

Although it is mainly enough, breakfast may be diversified.

Nice and cozy room, comfortable large kingsize bed, very nice bathtub, nice balcony with a great seaview, nice garden with a beautiful green lawn and deckchairs, good food in the restaurant (with room service option), good breakfast, nice and friendly staff, TV for relaxing evenings while it's misty outside!

There was some discussion about my room when I checked in, since the category I had booked (with bathtub) was not available - but then, after checking and talking to the manager, suddenly it was available. Time-consuming and nerve-wrecking unnecessary stuff... But except of that everything was fine! Oh, and parking is a little narrow...

A good sized suite. Loved the round window in the master bedroom! Both dinner and breakfast were really good and varied. Loved the location - right on the beach. Staff were friendly and professional. We had a small problem with our shower and this was dealt with and fixed within the hour.

Would have like to have seen tea and coffee facilities available.
